What you said about PGD applicant is completely FALSE. Aspa your intended program I will advise you go for your Msc, don't worry much about your PhD for now as you can get full funding for that when the time is right. I am not yet in Canada but that's my little take in this, hope it helps. NB: concerning you bot being able to practice psychology with your Msc I can't say about that, people with experience should be able to explain that
Thank you. I'll do just that. I had the wrong notion about the pdg thing. I know better now.

Hello boss,

While I understand your angle especially wanting to stay back and work, I will advice you focus on the short term goal first, which is obtaining your msc first. When you are on ground, everything will become very clear with respect to your long term goal, which is working/phd.

In the light of this, I would advice you pursue admission for a masters course in psychology and everything will follow suit. Since, you aim to pursue phd, while doing your msc put your ears on the ground. There are always bits of info about funding here and there, so you will definitely get wind of any info regarding funding for your phd.

Everything is possible. All you need is God and patience.

My opinion is based on my understanding of your statements above. I might not be correct though...

Warm regards.

Mazi
Thanks a lot for this. I really appreciate. This really helps put things in perspective. Thanks Boss!

Hello Everyone. Big ups to everybody contributing here and I'll really appreciate it if someone can help me with this problem. So I plan to start processing my travel and study soon but there is something that's been bothering me. I would like to work and possibly continue living after my studies in canada but I have a degree in psychology and I'm pursing an msc in the same course but apparently you have to have a PhD to practice psychology which means I most likely won't b able to secure a job after graduation. I would pursue PhD also but I only have funds enough to sponsor msc and would like to start working asap. My other alternative is to pursue a pgd in human resources management but I heard pgd don't get visas approved and also that lambton college is 27k c. a.d Anybody in canada that has any pointers would really b helpful. Thanks
Pls someone should advise me biko. Or who can confirm the tuition of lambton college for business Management- Human Resource Management. Can't seem to understand, I've written them twice but they didn't reply

Really?? So PGD students don't get their visas approved....I will share my testimony here by God's grace, my case is different .
I really don't know. Personally it didn't sound right to me also but I've heard too many people complain about pgds. Everything is speculation though.

Hi guys. Great work. I just want to ask a question. If a university says you pay tuition per semester in a year(masters) Does that mean you pay for fall, spring and summer semester first year. Then pay the same the subsequent year. I thought it was 2semesters per year and 4semesters in total. I'd like some Enlightenment. Also, what do they mean when they say you pay per credit. Thanks
Computers / Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by kingWB(m): 9:47am On Jul 10, 2017
I have a lenovo PC that was working perfectly fine last night until I charged with this abomination of a power supply. The light was so low that any attempt to plug the PC visibly dimmed the fluorescent bulb. Seeing this I promptly unplugged it. The laptop still had juice so I used it for a few minutes, then it shutdown and since then anytime I turn it on. It switches itself off almost immediately. Charger is working fine. The system charges when I plug it. But when I remove the charger and plug it direct it does the same. Any pointers pls

Hi Guys. Thank you for the information and encouragements, I have to say you guys are the real heroes. I've being reading up on this for a while but I'll need your advise on a couple things. I'll be graduating Bsc psychology in a couple months and I would like to pursue a second degree in canada, naturally I opted for medicine (to specialize in psychiatry) but I soon realized that was right next to impossible. Now my questions are
1) What other courses can I pursue with my psychology certificate
2) if I decide to not Use my bsc and use my waec ,do I have to write another one because I have credit and distinctions in all but mathematics.
3) How difficult is it to make residency permanent with a student visa.
Thanks for your anticipated assistance
God bless
