Please my passport is expiring in May and I have spring admission. How do I go about booking a date pending when the passport comes out because that’s taking time, a month now.

When you say school, do you mean the chair person of your department or who did you direct your inquiry to that they said Sept 1

Try canceling your current appointment and switching to Abuja and see if you still have option to apply for EA in Abuja. If this is possible, after 2 to 3days send Abuja consulate mail. Someone posted the email on this thread.

School resumes 23rd of August !! EA Approved for 26th !! Is this ok ?? In a zoom meeting with my school some weeks back they said it’s still ok to resume within 2weeks after resumption date !! How do I prove this to the VO AND officer at the POE

My EA was approved today. The first request I sent was rejected. So I reapplied again on the 27th of July. If you want to apply for an EA, Ensure you attach SEVIS fee receipt. It's very important.

You didn’t attach your sevis receipt before? Where did you apply before, Lagos or Abuja? This one that got approved where did you apply ?

House please, I just got my EA approved for Aug 23rd, 2wks after resumption and the day lecture starts.
But I have an I20 with a partial funding for this fall. If the school doesn't allow for resumption date extension, can I still present this I20 atleast to secure the visa?

Also, my sponsor generate a debit only statement of account for me (for reasons best know to them) is this tenable at the embassy
and can I present a June statement for Aug interview?

And my resumption date is 23rd of august.l want to defer to spring then apply for another expedited date. According to the email sent l can only apply once for emergency appointment with my Mrv fee.l need to make another payment to be able to apply for emergency appointment. Who else is going through the same issue.

I applied for two with the same MRV.
One in Lagos which I eventually cancelled and the other in Abuja.
