Education / Re: Postgraduate In South Africa by kk1(f): 12:25pm On Jan 05, 2007
read ur request, i've bin looking at my options in S/A too, need i remind you that its such a beautiful country. london for me is not as beautiful. well dear, s/a has about 20 universities and some technikons,(polytechnics) and some other degree awrding institutions. really ud study their for a fraction of what it would cost you to study in u.k or u.s. for me i wouldnt study in jozi (joburg) if i were you, i'd go for other universities outside the capital. u could try university of pretoria, capetown , university of kwazulunatal, university of southafrica (thats the Largest), university of portelizabeth, university of wittwatersrand. even tho ud have to sort them out and discover which ones dont teach in afrikanns so u can understand. tuition is not too expensive inckluding accommodation, u shud budget about 80,000 rand as an international student for ur 1st semester,(all inclusive). find out from google about their websites, i dont have them off hand rite now. wish you luck.
Celebrities / Re: PussyCat Dolls Vs Destiny Child by kk1(f): 9:54am On Dec 22, 2006
oh puhleez, i dont think theres need to debate this, pussy cat dolls cant hold a candle to destinys child, wether together or separated. afterall nicole sherzinger is the one holding the crew, if she leaves, say bye bye to ur pussy cats, do u hear the other girls voices, do u know them? i think not! even tho beyonce wuz the star of destinys child, i think u know how well each of the others kelly and michelle stand out.as a group destinys child had substance, on their own they have presence. case closed!

TV/Movies / Re: Do You Love Or Hate Nigerian Movies? by kk1(f): 1:24pm On Sep 25, 2006
seun

i love naija movies, dont no why but i'v grown really fond of their so-called trash. i've sufferd all manner of scorn for this from my friends, but i dont mind. nollywood( wot d hell is'nollywood'?)has grown in a very disconcerting manner. is till prefer the movies i used to watch in the 90's (yeah, i'm a long standing naija movie follower) u know, dolly unachukwu, liz benson, ann njemanze. i watched stella damasus begin, i watched, RMD grow from a skinny scrawny actor,to the bulked up sex symbol he is now.

they had good stories then, nd it was all fresh, now its all being recycled, so its pretty annoying plus the technical errors and problems with speech articulation. i stil prefer yoruba movies, to some extent they seem to have more depth. i thot of goin in as an actress, but i'm not cut out for that, the quality of people in the industry now is quite appalling and i just cant fit in. so i've contented myself with being a personal movie critic to friends and family. i'm looking forward to the day i'd see a nollywood stakeholder and give him a piece of my mind!
TV/Movies / Re: Desmond Elliot And Pat Attah, Which Is More Handsome by kk1(f): 9:55am On Sep 20, 2006
i think pat attah has more sex appeal and sometimes can sport this rugged look thats so sexy, u no wit dreads and all as well as d clean fyn boi look. desmond on the other hand is soooo cute, he sometimes looks like a little spoilt kid, he fyn o, but has any one seen his atempts to sport dreads and look lyk an original bad boi? pathetic!

Romance / Re: What If Your Lover Was A Spirit? by kk1(f): 8:21pm On Aug 05, 2006
spirit ke? thats why one shud pray before going into any relationship with anyone. thats some crazy stuff o! there are some marine spirits walking around under the guise of pretty girls. i've always been suspicious of extremely pretty girls with a certain surreal beauty about them. if ur lover is a spirit thrn u need deliverance, i'd recommend mountain of fire anyday!
