Politics / Re: What Is The Meaning Of JAGABAN? by kobie(m): 10:45am On Nov 02, 2020
The name 'Jagaban' was first mentioned by Bill Clinton (then USA President) when he visited Lagos for the Eko Atlantic Project, however 'Jagaban' as innocuously pronounced by Bill Clinton was supposed to be Ijagaa-Oba, meaning "the maker of Kings", I read this in one of the dailies published by Punch Newspapers (I think) then, I have tried to lay my hands on it as a reference but couldn't find it...I guess our deeply rooted Yoruba folks can allude to it...

Romance / Re: Enderlin Chinenyenwa Ambrose: Lady Offers Free Sex For Depressed Nigerian People by kobie(m): 11:36pm On May 20, 2019
The truth is depression is like madness and those suffering it wouldn't know except its revealed by those on the other side of the divide....Also depression in Nigeria is so prevalent like malaria that it's become a norm except in pretty extreme cases...
Jayslicky:
Sex can't cure depression, people going through depression hardly think of sex, they find things that are fun as boring and tiring.

This woman will get a lot of calls and trust me it won't be depressed men calling her.

Politics / Re: Photos: Man Rides Bike From Ivory Coast To Nigeria For The Chibok Girls by kobie(m): 2:30pm On Apr 10, 2015
The guy was saying he has been on the road for days, drained physically and emotionally and wonders what the Chibok girls are going through.

This is someone trying to simulate a pain condition and sympathizing with the afflicted, not to forget, Nigeria is a place where people forget things too quickly and his Idea of keeping the #BringBackOurGirls alive is really noteworthy.

I point to whoever is criticizing this guy to take a dry fast for a day, then you'll at least have an Idea what the Hell these girls have been through for about a year....

Remember, this is not Gulder Ultimate Search. This is Our Girls under the fangs of "Boko-Haram"...

May God guide, guard and protect them wherever they are..Amen

Jokes Etc / Re: Lagoon Bus! Strictly For Ibo Passenger (photo) by kobie(m): 10:59am On Apr 10, 2015
The truth be told, the Oba's statement is far from patriotism and unity, come to think of it, JK and Ambode are both Yorubas, so what's Igbo got to do with either of them?, voting is a matter of choice and not compulsion...

The Average Igbo man is Industrious (If you ever say and Igbo man loves Money or is corrupt then I bet you, go to China and you will know what Corruption is, nonetheless, let he who is righteous cast the first stone, nobody is perfect, so let's not Judge anyone).

Coming to the point, what will you tell a Family made of Igbo and Yoruba (Igbo Father + Yoruba Mother, or Yoruba Father and Igbo Mother) which is very common in Nigeria, is the Oba clamoring to produce Widows and Widowers?, this is really unbelievable...

Whatever the Oba's political immunity, he must learn from the saying of Niccollo Machiavelli " He who must foresee the future, must consult the past, for human experiences most resemble those of preceding times"...The Oba has set a precedent that will never be wiped away and this may just be the Oba Campaigning for JK in disguise because the god of the Lagoon is full of Empathy in favor of JK....I am a not partisan person...I believe in fairness.
