Gentlemen and ladies, I greet u all. I know the waiting is not easy. But be patient. The last set waited for one year during which all the screening and Interviews took place. Be optimistic, the process is fair enough and by July, all the waiting will be over. As for DI's and DA's, when the DS report, urs will follow but not immediately. If I were u, I'll brace up for the Jungle life. Best wishes prospective cadets.

A whole lot of naivety in dis group.. Its like we don't understand dat tackling corruption is not possible in EFCC, cause EFCC, started from corruption, and its still an agent of corruption... Don't believe all you watch or read on social media.. I pray you guys can change it, but it won't be easy... All d best guys.. #GODBLESS
I can't believe someone will be writing this.' Tackling corruption in efcc is not possible '. You are part of the people who always discourage good willing people from fighting for what is right. To the point of saying it's an agent of corruption having its roots in corruption. If you are not hungry, will you go in search for food? Pls we seek patriotic folks in this country. Although I must also acknowledge your optimism in the future DS to change the course of things in the commission.

Please let us be positive, keep praying and keep hoping for a better tomorrow for us and our future generations.

Hello house... I'm happy for those that were called for interview... Wishing you success ahead.. I did the medical but I didn't received message for the interview.. anyway I accept it with good faith. I was trying to move ahead when a friend called me that some people names are on the list but they didn't send them SMS.... I'm doubting, could that be possible? my state is schedule for the interview today and I stay in Abuja.... my question is that did anyone here come across a situation whereby the above incidence happen? he is encouraging me to go and check since istay in Abuja but I'm scared because I don't want to go and embarrass myself.. Please I need your advice.. thanks and God bless you all

I think you should go. No harm in trying, you can never tell. Like some that did theirs on Wednesday - some received the text on Monday night, others received on Tuesday evening as against Wednesday morning.

Moreover you will only tell the provost your name and state at the gate, if it is there, he will let you in, else he will tell you to go. Remember to shout 'good morning sir' at the gate to avoid further harassment.

Best wishes

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: EFCC's Derogatory Recruitment Exercise: A Process Striping Women Of Dignity by koded3: 8:35am On Nov 10, 2016
Gentlemen and ladies, I read through the whole thread and am surprised at the comments of many. I am not here to condemn or criticize anyone after all its social media and freedom of expression is the key.

But I need to make some clarifications about the subject matter. Yes I will confirm that it is true ladies where asked to strip before a male medical doctor who works with efcc. Same thing for the guys. But the ladies were in groups, not on individual basis as for the guys.

For those speaking about morality, please bear in mind that the said candidate(s) signed documents which permits them to carry out such examination on him/her.

I share the view with those who say female doctors to examine female candidates but don't forget that in military or paramilitary, there is no male nor female only soldiers. I must state clearly here that for those who you might have seen or heard are only enjoying benefits (I mean preferential treatment) based on human sympathy or influence of some 'ogas at the top'.

This may or may not be acceptable to many but remember you willingly submitted yourself for the test and this has been the practice. This has also been part of the reasons why females in the past were not accepted to join Nigerian army. But things are changing.

What I want people to understand is that it's not a priority for any military or paramilitary to make available male and female doctors for medical examination at any point in time because in the service there is no male nor female.

Thank you

And then what's with the we are going to be trained at NDA by the military, DSS for three months and finally in Karu, at their academy. No be financial crime we want fight? What's with the serious training in weapons handling? undecided
we will be field officers, we need the DSS training for intelligence gathering and the military for combat. Academy for legal and other financial training.. My thoughts!

Hmm, reading through this thread really made me feel bad. Look at how backward our direction and focus is. For those blaming the government, remember we have been blaming government for a long time - long before democracy. My question is, what has the 'blames' accomplished? NOTHING. my opinion is that we thrive to do what is right in our little circles or environment and pray God helps us in our country.

God Bless Nigeria!

bababububa:

Ok agreed. Are u saying people shouldnt go for d exercise again?
discouragement is not good for you. What has been destined must come to pass. Whether doctored list or deliberate reduction in height or unjust screening is not sufficient to deter you from success. I don't know what your journey is about but if you believe then you will achieve your goals.
mijestic:

lolz you can choose to belief whatever you will and have faith but that doesn't make the Nigerian mentality of god fatherism and biased recruitment fake. As far as I'm. concerned this recruitment is already discredited given that theres are facts to a doctored list and there was no equal playing field for all candidates. Evidently, I'm supposed to Be in Kaduna right now but bowed out cos of a grand conspiracy to reduce the number of candidates. How can I make a trip to Kaduna from Lagos unplanned within 32 hours? All flights were booked and my safety wasn't assured by road or didn't you also read the deliberate reduction of people's measured heights etc I used to have faith but then when the judges themselves become criminals, you have no choice than lose faith in the judicial process.
NokiaN8:
HAVING FAITH.. I dont want we discredit this recuitment exercise.... with fake and untrue nigerian mentality of god fatherlism... Change begins with ME... If you are still carrying the mentality of old Nigeria... U may find the recuitment difficult...So believe in change begins with you..
but I wish everyone the best

I had mine today, here are a few observations I have : the documents screening - if you don't make the required o'level, it will be noted but not sure it led to disqualification. the height issue - almost all candidates Heights were reduced by by 0.2m. I.e if u are 1.80, they will record 1.78m. For the sight, it's quite easy to scale through. Same goes for the x-ray. The other radiology section which is ultrasound is also easy but if you have liver or kidney issue my best advice is to pray. Saw a guy who was screened out for abnormal liver. Dental is quite easy. Like someone said earlier except you have removed some tooth before, you are good to go. In addition get ready to sit on the floor for long, come with 4 passports, and Pls try not to raise your BP. My candid advice, having done all, just pray! Sorry I don't have info about accommodation. Best wishes.

Bro are you certain of this distance? I thought it was 3km. May God help us!
majorboss:
It's a standard military procedure
1. Running for 10 to 15km
2. Timing is of the essence
3. The expectation is a lot of people will drop out during the running.
4. The idea is to reduce number of candidates who couldn't make it.
