The decision to zone the Chairmanship slot to Osunmayegun was reached at a meeting held on the 12th of August at the residence of the leader of the Local Government, Hon. Osibote, Chief Aloran of Ijebu Ife where the 10 major speakers at the meeting unanimously speak in favor of Osunmayegun zone to present the next Local Government Chairman.

2. Hon. Fasheyi Akindele Adesuji : Itele Ward

The two listed Aspirant were carefully listed as they are both from the Ward expected to produce the next Chairman of the Local Government Area and also considering their popularity and ability to convincingly win the election for the APC in the forthcoming election.

Hon Osibanjo Jesse Adewale

Politics / Re : 2023 Election : Apc Has Lost Ijebu East To Pdp Even Before The Election. by kokooso(m): 9:16am On Jul 01, 2022
RE : 2023 ELECTION : APC HAS LOST IJEBU EAST TO PDP EVEN BEFORE THE ELECTION.

I read with bewildered amusement, the cooked, manufactured falsehood and concocted story of one Akeem Adeoye published on "Skypereporters" on the 28th June 2022 with the above caption.I would not have bothered to debunk this sponsored lies from the pit of hell and a premeditated attack on the person and character of our amiable principal, which intentions are evil.
A cursory look at the publication shows bad motives aimed at denting the popular image of Odufejo Michael Oluseye Oluomo. The report is meant to malign, insult, blackmail, disorganized our principal but it has failed, as he remains focused, strong, courageous and moving forward in his quest to deliver Ijebu East for APC.
Odufejo Michael Oluseye Oluomo is a man with an outstanding pedigree and strength of character
The disparaging, insulting and portraying of our distinguished Principal in bad light is insinuative of undertones and underhands of sore losers in evil attempt to discredit a man whose heart is as clean as white and fully committed to the good of Ijebu East LG.

The Facts of the Matters

1. There is no rancour in Ijebu East LG APC and at no time did the Governor of our State used Com. Amb. Tunde Oladunjoye against leaders of the Party in Ijebu East as CATO remain a unifying factor, bridge builder and a genuine lover of Peace and Harmony.

2. What is controversial about attending a public Primary School if not that the writer is confused and under illusion? The records are there and verifiable.

4. Seylek Petrochemical Nigeria Limited is a reputable company known for effective, efficient and timely service delivery for the past 20 years and had at no time involved in cutting corners or supply of adulterate products. As a reputable company that it is known for over the years, the company has made supplies to genuine companies among which are :

- SINOMA INTERNATIONAL GROUP OF COMPANIES.

- EQUITY HOTEL

- OGUN STATE MINI-POWER PLANT

- GOLDEN CROWN CERAMIC COMPANY IGBESA

- ZUNGERU DAM, ZUNGERU VILLAGE, NIGER STATE

- DANGOTE REFINERIES LAGOS, etc.

That the above mentioned world-standard companies get supplies from Seylek is an indicator of how credible the company is, and how reliable in the supply of high quality products. No company in the class of the aforementioned would patronize or buy adulterated oil products. At no time did Seylek have issues with its client on supplies.

5. One keeps wondering why a supposed lettered “Akeem Adeoye” (if that name really exists) would come up with a petty claims of Oluomo's academic certificates as been scandalous. What is scandalous about a man who gained admission and studying at the Tai Solarin University of Education Ijagun? Could he had gained admission without the verification of such results before getting admitted? The writer indeed is not only seeking for attention but confused and seems to be a tool in the hands of enemies of progress.

6. As for the PDP winning Ijebu East LG in the forthcoming general elections, it is just a fallacy and not feasible. Today as it is, the PDP in Ijebu East is in disarray and shambles running helter skelter as a result of the emergence of Odufejo Michael Oluseye Oluomo as the APC Candidate, who is the most popular, loved and accepted by the electorate.

It is a known fact that Odufejo Michael Oluseye Oluomo as the APC Candidate will deliver and defeat the PDP convincingly in the forthcoming elections as indices are in his favor.

A word is enough for the wise!

Education / IT'S A NEW BEGINNING,DR LUKMAN KIADESE TASCE PROVOST CONGRATULATE HIMSELF. by kokooso(m): 11:04am On Feb 21, 2021
A New Beginning!

1.So it’s being close to half a century have been in this game called LIFE.

2. I don’t know how long my Coach will keep me playing and I cannot say if He'll still allow me to play extra time, or choose me among the lucky ones to kick the penalty (should the game drag) before the final whistle is blown.

3. My Coach, all I want to do is to score amazing goals to honour your name, not because my name should be on the scorers’ list – though that will be fascinating, but because every mistake I make might discredit your name, pleasing You is my greatest goal.

4. My coach , as you have given me the ability, I am also available to play any position for as long as You give the directive and dictate the strategy.

5. Help me to listen to your shouts from the sideline as I immerse myself in this game.

6 keep me from the distraction that the booing and applause of the spectators might cause.

7. Keep me focused on the trophy and the medal irrespective of what the commentators are saying.

8. Strengthen me to withstand the tackles of the opponents/Enemies ( Very Many) and grant me the best skills to press on against their wishes ( fall him down at all cost)

9. Help me to connect well with other players and grant me the grace to release the ball than being selfish ... because the glory is not about me but You ALONE.

10. Although, I get selfish on the field sometimes, wanting to score dazzling goals ... and I have watched You PULLED OUT many good and obedient players but kept me in the game instead. Thanks for this glorious opportunity !

11. I cannot claim to love you as much as You have loved me since the foundation of this world. I cannot also looked away from the pain my Poor and caring late mother went through so that I can join the winning team. Alas! she didn't wait to see me lifting the Trophy.
Happy Birthday to me Adeola Kiadese Lukmon. It's a new beginning.

Politics / TASCE LIFELINE: Restart Your Tertiary Education With Less Than 5 Credits by kokooso(m): 5:40pm On Feb 08, 2021
Timothy Adeola Odutola is a name that will resound in the South West of Nigeria. Years after his passing, his name is still commonly mentioned for enterprise and for dogged determination to establish things from which persons, other than himself and his family, would benefit. In his homestead of Ijebu Ode, his footprints are forever laid out.

One of the most glaring reminders of this man’s imposing presence is the Adeola Odutola College (originally Olu-Iwa College)located in the heart of Ijebu Ode. It is a school he established and from which countless have benefitted and still benefit. A philosophy attached to the school is what the local people declare as “Adeola o kan omokomo” which rendered literally means “Adeola (Odutola College) rejects no child”. For some, this is a low side of the school as it is not so selective of students but prefers to open its doors wide for all. The school anthem says, “Fount of knowledge for all who desire to learn”. In this lies the deeper relevance of the school’s policy of denying any willing child. They don’t want to leave anybody behind.

Another Ijebu titan is from Ikenne, not so far away. He is Tai Solarin. He also established a school called Mayflower School. Nobody needs to be told of the exploits of this man in education in Nigeria, or the impact Mayflower School has had and continues to have. Now, we have a College of Education named after him, the Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu, which is the pioneer tertiary institution, and the only state-owned College of Education. Tai Solarin believed in total education and now a school is named after him.

The philosophies of these men and more are some of the underlying reasons the Tai Solarin College of Education has decided to lower the entry requirements in some of its programmes and design other programmes to help struggling youths restart their education and chase their dreams. The school recently announced that it will (again) allow students with less than 5 credits (which is the minimum standard for admission into tertiary education) to apply and be admitted to begin their studies.

It is common knowledge that many youths in Nigeria are trapped in the WAEC/NECO quagmire. Some have been unable to cross the bridge and be qualified for further education. There are as many reasons for this as there are candidates trapped there. The concept Tai Solarin College of Education is deploying allows these persons with deficiencies come to the school and determine their exact situation. The school then offers them lifelines. These lifelines are inroads that could help them restart their lives as scholars and chase whatever dreams they have, either in education or in other cognate areas. This is provided they agree to work hard to remediate the deficiencies that have.

Initially, one may wonder if this is not the same as watering down standards. Some may argue that anyone unable to secure five credits at the Ordinary Level is not much of a scholar. These are worthwhile arguments and worthy of every attention. However, rather than debate, tasce (acronym for Tai Solarin College of Education) points us to something.

A few years ago, the College floated a similar programme and admitted students to first prepare for UTME and then admitted them to NCE programmes of the College. They entered agreements with the school to do some extra studying to remediate the deficiencies and then all went well. Years down the line, here are some of the results of that decision.

Many of the students went on to pass their subjects and continued to study in the College. They have all graduated now and some are in their final years in universities they entered by Direct Entry using NCE results obtained in the College.
Many completed their NCE and are now working with the certificate while pursuing further certification on part time basis
Many passed the UTME and left for other schools to study what they always wanted.
A few did not complete the project with us, some for reasons we know (finances, poor attitude to work, or change of priorities) and some for undisclosed reasons
The management of the institution and its Academic Board have discovered that there are many young people roaming in despair and who are endangered by their inability to secure worthwhile admission to schools. Rather than looking away and allowing these young people to be lured into weird educational pursuits by predators within and at the fringes of the country, tasce has decided to give them a shot at a secure future.

All that needs to be done is to gather those documents and head to Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu and hold discussions and you could be studying as a bona fide student of tasce the following week. The fees are the cheapest in Nigeria. Application forms are N2,000 (two thousand naira). Processing fees are N20,000 (twenty thousand naira) and tuition for NCE 1 is N38,000.00 (thirty-eight thousand naira). There are no other charges.

Education / MOVEMENT 2020,upzy Praise Leadership Position. by kokooso(m): 4:52am On Dec 01, 2020
MOVEMENT 2020
All that is important is this one moment in movement. Make the moment important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.
I’m SUNMONU OPEYEMI BABATUNDE. PKA UPZY_PRAISE.
From the school of science CSC/PHY as combination.
I became class coordinator in 100level,the great association NACOSSITE organization of computer science students was reform with the help of God and my office as my level coordinator,
I became youth Vice President in my fellowship still in 100level because of my commitment towards the affairs of other youth and church members.
In my 200level,I became science coordinator and elected representative as honorable for school of science constituency ii,also constituency leader.
I became youth president in my fellowship of which I still maintain the office.I became the CEO of One of the great phone gadget on campus “UPZY_PRAISE TECHNOLOGY"
We are all glorified motion sensors, some things only become visible to us when they undergo change. We take for granted all the constant, fixed things, and eventually stop paying any attention to them.At the same time we observe and obsess over small and ephemeral things of little value.
The trick to rediscovering is to stop and focus on greater panorama around us which is team MOVEMENT because this is another opportunity for all TASCITE to rediscover the servant that is ready to represent them in and outside of TASCE.
And now that we are seeing another chance,we must prepare and ready for the MOVEMENT which is coming for the betterment of TASCE ,it takes a more sensitive motion instrument to track it. I am ready to build a model that will take TASCE students to the land of attainment.

Nairaland / General / Kokooso Congratulate Dr.lukman Kiadese On His Reappointment As Tasce Provost. by kokooso(m): 11:56pm On Sep 07, 2020
Congratulation message to Dr.lukman kiadese on your reappointment as TASCE provost.

Dear sir.
I am writing this letter to celebrate the icon and the brain behind the modern architectural of new TASCE development on your reappointment as TASCE PROVOST.Its not easy to reach such position and get reappointment especially in the era when the college is going to a shamble state but God use you to rejig every sector of the college, which everyone of us can proud of.
Your achievement during your first term in office is glaring which every onlooker can't deny or pretend not to see your landmark progress you recorded which includes accreditation for all 25 courses of the college by NCCE, securing degree programmes for the college in affiliation with OOU, first combined convocation ceremonies of the college, new school of science building and many more which I can't mention.
It gives me great pleasure to thank his excellence Dr.Dapo Abiodun for the reappointment of the provost irrespective of all the propagated lie levelled against him which the visitation panel has cleared.Moreso I thank the governing council led by Prince Adeyemi Adefulu for your recommendation to the governor to retain the provost for another four years.
As a student and formal student leader of the college,Dr.Kiadese always put students interests at forefront in any of management decision. The students enjoyed your good leadership and relationship during your first tenure which gave you smooth ground when the school is in crises. The support you got during my tenure as the students union president when the college is in crises has justify our stand on your reappointment by the governor .
My candid advice to you is to sharpen your knife for greater challenges than before and dream big for the betterment of the college.
May God almighty in his infinite mercy continue to guide and protect you from any of the obstacles that may hinder your progress.
THANKS

These are the questions you need to answer, which the students of (TASCE) are waiting for response from you Mr Governor.
Our lecturers are Sobering and wailing, you've caused chaos in the institution which the infrastructural facilities is nothing to write about.Over demands of tasce staff under the umbrella (COALITION OF TASCE STAFF) is a death plot against the staff, students and the college success.
