Hey, Sodiq here again. I promised you in the last episode of this series that I will take you through how to identify the right skill for you. I'm about to keep my promise.

So, sit tight while I jump right in...

First thing first, what are high income skills?

High Income skills are skills that generate high income to anyone possessing them.

Before I explain further, there are high income jobs and high income professions.

There is a difference between a high income job and a high income profession.

A high income profession is Surgery, while a high income job can getting a job in Chevron.

Whether skill, job or profession; let it be the one that generates a high income for you. If not, then...OYO is ur case.

Now, out of all these three, the best I've known is high income skills.

Wait ...

I have my reasons as follows:

1. It take years to get a high income profession like Medicine and Surgery.

2. It takes God's favour and strong connection to get a high paying job, especially in a third world country like Nigeria.

3. High income skills can be acquired in less than a year with serious dedication.

4. To learn a high income skill, follow those who are doing well with the skill and be ready to go through the process.

5. You literally need your zeal, smartphone or laptop to learn some of these skills.

Personally, I have chosen video Content creation because I discovered myself. I was doing graphics designing before I came cross video content creation.

Then I realised I get more ideas for creating videos than I get for graphic designing.

Like, the time I will use to get a flyer done can be used to make like 3 videos sometimes. Then, I focused my energy video despite both being a high income skill.

So, you need to identify yourself first. And find what resonates with you.

Here's a list of high income digital skill you can learn now.

1. Copywriting
2. Graphic designing
3. Web development
4. Video Content creation
5. Programming ( very tasking though)
6. Digital Marketing
7. Public speaking
8. Content Writing
9. Software development
10. Ui/UX design.

You can search on each and find a suitable one based on:
1. The resources at your end: one of my friends paid 350k to learn programming.

2. The time required to hone your skill.

3. How profitable it is in today's world.

What I'm about to reveal to you are
the two major problems you are probably facing now, or would probably face if you skip this. You will also discover how I finally liberated myself from them.

1. How do I start? When I started my online journey, I had no clue of how to start. So, I simply jumped from one training to another without actually gaining much from them.

I kept consuming information, like opt in for any freebies that seemed valuable. Yeah, some freebies were quite useful, but you can't get the full gist through that.

So, I opted in for several paid courses and still had little to show for it.

And this led to the second problem...

2. Now I had numerous information at my end, but I was even more confused.

How funny could that be?

I had gathered series of information I probably had little to do with, while still lacking the right information I needed.

I became overloaded with information and finally decided to call it partially quit.

Yeah, I left online for some months.

During my break, I was undergoing a series of unlearning and relearning processes.

These processes transformed me into a new person who finally found his path.

So, here is what I did...

Out of all the information I had garnered.

I realised that you need to have a digital skill to make cool money online.

And if you want to make enough money to fund your envisaged lifestyle, you need a high income digital skill.

So, I researched on high income skills I could learn while considering several factors like, the time required, how profitable it is etc.

I finally settled for video Content creation, buried my head in it.

Started leaning how to do it with my smartphone, and in less than a month, the result started coming.

My first video job in February 2021
was 7500naira, while I earned 20,000naira from my 9-5 teaching Job.

The day I did a 20,000naira job in 2 hours, my mind removed totally from my 9-5 job. �

Then, I did several jobs 5k, 10k, 15k, 20k.

In fact, I have confidently charged 30,000 per video job more than once.

All videos done witn my smartphone.

To God be the Glory.

Now listen, dont take my words for it.

Before 2021, I used to think 6 figures is actually hard to make online. Today, it's a changed story.

I have done 6 figures already, this month alone.

P.S Get a high Income skill, master it and come back as a valuable person. The reward for value is cool money.

I was out today being Monday,

Yeah! And this was feeling triggered me to take a huge decision of my life which I revealed at the end of this post.

See, most Nigerians like you and I are very hardworking.

Yeah! Imagine.... just imagine.

Imagine stepping out around 6:30am in Zaria and everywhere is already rowdy with people opening shops and others doing their different transactions.

Good and good. See the so called okada men with loved ones to cater for, searching for potential customers. Young men well dressed in suits and collars going for their 9-5 jobs. Great and Great.

While I was observing this, a question popped up. Like...

These people are not lazy, they all have their aims and dreams.

But, Why are only few people reaching the dreamland?

Guess what; An answer also popped up.

What if they are all doing it wrongly. Which is very obvious.

What if they lack the right mindset.

What if they are running the wrong programming.

What if this... what if that.... what if a lot is wrong. Though not too wrong to be fixed.

I mean, how can someone go to work as early as 6:30 am and come back late in the evening every single day (save Saturdays and Sundays for some) for say 10-15 years and yet still join folks in blaming the economy.

Still join others in hoping for better times.

Like I don't get it.

So, it's very obvious they are running the wrong programming.

On the other hand, someone is inside, working creatively to provide high yielding solutions to problems while getting paid massively.

Some of these folks making waves don't even wake up as early as most people do.

They have control over their times and use those times to grow exponentially while their incomes grow too.

I remember making a 20k videos within 2 hours.

Something I get working tirelessly a month from my 9-5 job.

See, these folks even have more times to serve their loved ones, more money to cater for them and of course spend time with them.

Someone somewhere will say it's normal. This life is not balance. Blah Blah.

If I hear this 2 years back, I would fall for it. But Nah! and never will I agree to that statement.

See, if you have the right mindset

Run the right programming

And are ready to do what most successful folks do.

You will end up getting close results or even better results than them.

That's why a millionaire who made his millions through a proven strategy can raise other millionaires with that same strategy.

It works and it always will.

My Video Content skill has made me ×3 of what I earned in a month working tirelessly.

Sweet part is I completed those jobs within few days.

If I can stay focused and finished more jobs in a month.

I can make 10× or 20× what I was earning from my 9-5 job all in just a month. Wow and wow.

So, I called it quit.

Yeah! I did that and no regret.

I wish myself more success ahead.

P.S I have been making videos for over 18 months now. But, the juicy part started this year February when I learned got the right tools I have been missing.

Thank you very much bro, this article just changed my entire life. I have been trying to do business since this covid19 period after loosing my job. In a bid to make more money I lost everything including my seven years pension money. Now I have just sold my furniture but was very scared to restart cos of the terrible experience of loosing.
