I hope they do that. We need fiscal discipline in all the sectors of the economy not just civil service. People are suffering in this country. You wouln't know because you can still afford three square meals in the comfort of your house. Nigeria is on the brink of sinking like the famous Titanic Ship.

Leadership comes with some qualitative qualities and such qualities must be put to quality use by using it to affect the life of the people positively. But here in Nigeria, people are meant to suffer and regret for voting into power their leaders and our suffering has no end. You can not expect us to pray for such leaders but wish them what they wish us!
Religion / Re: Watch Your Tongue, DSS Warns Apostle Suleman by kolado(m): 6:07am On Feb 01, 2017
If anybody still see anything good in this government that person must be blind from the womb. What would it have taken the DSS to invite him in the first place? We should always uphold justice and rule of law thats what common humanity demands. An agency of government like the DSS should synchronized their legal duties with laid down procedures in addressing issues as sensitive as this case. You don't address religious matters with violent approach. Nigeria is a secular state thus neither a christain nor a muslim nation. But i bet you it only exist in theory not in practice because of religion intolerance.

Since the documents are classified he shouldn't have apprised us of any information for now. We are interested in seeing the end of Boko Haram not giving us information about one useless classified documents or treasures found in Sambisa forest.

Nigeria is a geographical mistake. We need fireband prayer warriors to do fasting and prayer for this country. People are really suffering but you won't know because you can still afford three square meals in the comfort of your house. We need revolution!

Politics / Re: "People Will Die Before I Am Extradited" - Kashamu by kolado(m): 12:43pm On Jan 30, 2017
seunmsg:
Kashamu cannot be extradited until a competent court in Nigeria says so. American court does not have jurisdiction over Nigeria. If the US justice department and the NDLEA are so convinced of Kashamu's guilt, they should institute an extradition case against him and let the court decide.

And for those commenting without understanding the history of the case, I urge you all to Google and read the two separate judgements delivered by British courts as regard this same case. Extraditing Kashamu illegally to go and answer another case in the US will be a violation of the principle of "double jeopardy". In law, there must be an end to prosecution.
I am not always in the mood for duel of words or arguments, but on what you just wrote i beg to hack you down. Firstly, the Court has no business with extradition request. It can only be made to the office of the Attorney General of the Federation through US Diplomatic representative. Upon perusal of the request by the AGF, if a prima facie case is established, invariably, and there are no doubts whether an offence has been committed, the AGF would file the Extradition request together with an application before the court to sanction it. The Court has no adjudicatory power to question the discretion of the AGF in this circumstance. All the court can do is to undertake an adjudicatory power to issue a warrant of arrest and keep the fugitive criminal in custody pending when he or she would be extradited. Neither US Justice department nor NDLEA can institute the Extradition proceedings. I hope you understood.

The US has made an extradition request, they have not asked to pick him off the street so i don't see where their request is illegal. Second, the principle of double jeopardy does not apply because he was tried in a british court... the current indictment is in a US court... a completely different legal jurisdiction... so how is that double jeopardy?

Frankly, only in Nigeria do we vote ex-convicts who are under indictment in other countries for fraud and drug laundering into our senate... and we're surprised the rest of the world considers us a joke.
Basically, the proper thing to do is to file an extradition request to the the office of the Attorney General of the federation. Which they have done and not illegal according to the Extradition Act. Secondly, he was tried in the British court by the same US justice department and he won. What does that mean? It would amount to double jeopardy, if he's tried for same offence by same prosecutor whether before a US court or British court. There must be an end to litigation. If they've new evidence on new set of facts they can order a retrial anyway.

What dept? Your Cert should be ready by now. You've not applied for NYSC mobilization then. After my clearance, i was asked to come back in two weeks time for my SOR and Cert. But i was able to fast track it because i was in dire need of it. I was introduced to a guy in Exams and Records who i gave some 'tips' to assist me. People who graduated in 2016 were asked to come back this January for their SOR. Do you have the list of documents to be submitted at the Exams and Records? Clearnce certificate, jamb admission letter, course reg form(any of the levels) and so on.
