Change ur names on nin to that of ur passport. U cnt fight name correction tht is not due to marriage with this nis officials. They are too corrupt as I am seeing.
Pay via remita if u want to go ahead with d name change on nin. It is 500 naira.
Armed with ur receipt, any official document with this new name and application letter go to a nin office tht is not too crowded. U can capture same day and get d new slip same day or not too long after

I have also considered changing my NIN but the issue now is that the name on my NIN corresponds with all of my other documents, so changing NIN might still lead to school and work issues in the future, I have to change it from my passport.

Please my third name on my passport is different from that of my NIN so I can’t do renewal, an officer suggest to help if I pay 150k and will also have to go to Abuja, please I don’t have that kind of money, how effective of DIY cause I was told there it might take me more than a year to rectify it doing it myself

what state are you applying from? If u are applyin in lagos, abuja,ph and ogun u must use NIN
if the other states, then nin is not compulsory

so are you saying I can do renewal at other states if we having issues with name

bro did you do the change of name registration yourself cause an official here in Lagos ask me to bring 150k for it and I honestly don’t have that kind of money.
