Politics / Dear Lord, Answer This Prayer. by Kpac(m): 12:49pm On Mar 03, 2012 |
Father Lord, First, you have thought me to start my conversation with you with thanks, hence i say "Thank You" for the gift of life and all that's in it. Thank you for myself, my family, my street, my state of residence,my state of origin, my country and all encompasse. Father, i read in one of them verses in the bible, that you knew me even before i was conceived, So, i should have all reasons to believe everything that happens to me, are all what you know. Father, i have concerns, great concerns, haven talked to you in my room, in my car, in the church etc, i have chosen to talk to you via the internet that you may receive this prayer closer to you in heaven via the satellites. Dear Lord,i am getting seriously tired of Nigeria, Seriously and Seriously getting sick of the country and the greatest percentage of its people, father, i would never use the word regret cos i love this Country and i could have been made to believe a person of my type, rare type, was born into this country to make changes, to bring positives and progress to my people, But father, i am not getting any motivated in shaking my head in despair, reading bad news every hour and witnessing the large extent of intolerance, illiteracy and wickedness amongst these people. Father, my hope is rapidly shrinking each passing day, Nigeria is cursed is all i can conclude now, a country with the most corrupt, most wicked, most unrepentant, most deceiving, most - all bad things politicians and leaders. Most doctors violating other people's wife, Most Labor leaders are traitors, Most Governors are Wicked hearted cult members, Most Teachers are professional cheats, Most drivers are addicted adulterers, Most Lecturers are comfortable sadist and hateful, Most Journalists are deliberate liars, Most Media owners are promoters of discord and iniquities, they bring bad programmes to out TV, they frustrate the honest film makers who have intelligent, educative programmes, Most Graduates are write off in knowledge, exposure and deep thinking, a country where most they sell Sharp Cutlasses, Axes and other murder-able weapons in Hold ups, a country where the people run around happily celebrating a borehole donated by a politician, a country of no central database, no security whatsoever, a country where your own worship places have been deeply defiled. A country where 70% of its youth are all carriers of hate and wickedness, they have lost almost all senses of morals, no respect at all for those who should be honored, a country where they praise a celebrity that lives a reckless live and not recognize the ones that are just among them. The bad celebrities make up the lists of their role models. 9,999 out of 10,000 Nigerian youth dont know what integrity means, they dont understand the meaning of living a just and simple life, they can sit down and engage in deep thoughts, Father, these youths are no hope for any bright future. Here on Nairaland, i have become a spectator, i read the topics and avoid the responses, the majority of users here has made this wonderful website a shadow of what it was when we joined it many years ago, the youths here gain and lose respect for anybody at anytime. They react to false news from unreliable sources as if what we have in their brains is sawdust. Father, i assume you know Nigeria also even before it was made, hence you know that things are totally upside down. The rate at which corruption occurs in the judiciary system everyday can send an average American lawyer into coma and when they decide to do one good out of a possible 50, my countrymen and women celebrate and dance as if Nigeria is not ours at all. Sir, the wiser ones amongst us dare not correct any folly if we dont want to witness our wisdom laughed upon. Dear Lord, please see my excuses as genuine cos they are and take me away from here to a more civilized environment, USA, Malaysia, Japan, UK, Kenya etc where i can meet people of likewise capacity, an environment where love exist in its true state, where i can show love and be happy, where knowledge and understanding is deeper and so common. Father, take me out of Nigeria. I seek a better place to enjoy living and appreciate the living all the days of my remaining life. I would not expect much responses on this topic because it is of no interest to the users here, if it were to be a topic of violation, embezzlement, Location of Hotels or even for ethnic warfare, then this topic would surely receive response up to 25 pages. Thank you lord and may my faith of answered prayers make me whole. Your Image Kpac Trium |
Politics / Re: Prof. Niyi Osundare On Religion And Politics In Nigeria by Kpac(m): 4:02pm On Jan 30, 2012 |
Professor Osundare, your piece has added to my cart of intelligence, gratefully i submit to your views, i share them wholeheartedly. Let it be, that we made our contributions in our present capacity, telling my people of the need for changes in their attitude and beliefs have brought us shame, we have been called names like you have rightly said and painfully as it seems to our hearts, we have been forced to watch from the stands the extent and progress of the destruction of my people. I would one day write my own topic on Education and Sentiment, as the basic factors that has made our leaders cheats us rapidly. We cant make suggestions, corrections and directions of what is wrong in our society. Sir, it's killing the free minded ones amongst us by the day. Our comments these days are being judged by our ethnicity, occupation, religion or even sex, that is why a yoruba man would be rained abuses if he criticize an Ijaw Man, an ibo man would be lynched at any slight possibility if he talks odd of an hausa man, a keke napep man might be beaten if he dares correct an okada man, Sir, the examples are lengthy and could bring tears close to eyes again on this day. Sir, each day i go out on those streets of Lagos, i wonder why my people could ply these roads and still manage to keep the alausa secretariat peaceful and devoid of complaints and petition letters. Sir, until 2 children of the same parents are knocked down on any of our roads would you see the government begin immediate construction of pedestrian bridges on those risky roads. The problem is beyond our leaders now, it has now settled deep in our midst, in my country, truth no more prevails. Sir, i think the problem is very wide and all aspects have its own grave flaws, i would suggest the constitution written by these corrupt justices are rewritten, that would be my suggestion on the first step to take if there is any sincerity in any New Nigeria. In my country : A man snatches a bag containing 2000 naira at the bus stop, he was chased and the bag recovered from him and the owner confirms nothing was missing from the bag after it was recovered. The man is charged to court, he is sentenced to 2 years imprisonment, whereas a Lady grounded Oceanic bank, took away Billions of Naira which could not be recovered again by the government, she is charged to one and half year in prison, she is presently abroad cooling off. A man Desecrates 3 sisters, leave them dejected, got them pregnant, leave their family in pools of shame, he was caught, charged to court, the man would be sentenced to 1 year imprisonment with option of 20,000 Fine. A man has Ond, Hnd, Bsc and Msc, he works tirelessly in an office of about 25km from his house, he spends 3 hours daily in the holdup, he gets home with weak eyes and clogged nose after inhaling high volumes of smoke and dust from the road on his way home, he earns 70,000 monthly whereas a boy drops out of school, never made it past Primary 6, he works as an agbero in one of those garages, he takes home at least 40,000 naira daily after spending 5000 on drinks and harlots,he owns four Danfo buses and a personal Honda Pilot Jeep. Sir, Nigeria is a long story. I do not see any proof that if this beloved country is being disintegrated, the emerging countries would be any better. May the labor of our heroes past never be in vain. |

Their response are all well spelt out, they've said all those and we understand from their point of view. The fishy and unreality thing is why are these pro government reps like Ngozi and Sanusi avoiding to be challenged, they make interviews with a preset answer and does not allow public call into their interviews and ask the questions we need answers to as Nigerians. They should come out sincere. |

Literature / An Insight Of Nigeria: By Kpac by Kpac(m): 5:16pm On Jan 02, 2012 |
Chapter One EDUCATION I have carefully listed and analyzed all Nigeria's present problems, A long list i have, 128 in total, and that to me is a proof why Nigeria is listed as an developing nation. Being in the list of developing nation, Nigeria is also listed as majors in lists such as Corruption list, High Mortality Rate, Low returns on Investment, Child abuse, Poor Human Rights etc. The only list i know Nigerians can boast of as a positive is being in the list of Oil producing countries and the world's fifth largest producer as Crude Oil. I have come to a arguable conclusion that the greatest of Nigeria's problem and the root of every other problem in my list is EDUCATION. The percentage of the illiterates in Nigeria is of a greater percentage for this country to develop. The "majors of the society", who are involved in everything as daily measures of the efficiency of Government are illiterates, by this; i mean the Public Drivers, Vulgarizers, Mechanics, Petty Traders, Union Workers, Okada Riders etc. Annoying is the fact that the few percentage of Nigerians who have attended Primary, Secondary Schools and Higher Institution are also poorly educated, some were cheats throughout their schooling periods and would hardly remember any topic in courses they excelled in while at school, few of those who have gone to Higher Institutions have been "De-Educated" gradually because they mingled with core illiterates, probably worked for them and made to live like their hosts. It is shameful, painful and dainty that the greater percentage of Nigerian Youths as analyzed above are either illiterates, Poorly educated or "De-Educated". With such disgusting facts of our fallen education standards, these youths have also lost Morals, Honesty and Dignity. I say, without education or morals, a society would surely be servicing chaos and unrest all through its days. A football club that does not have an effective academy, would not have any good player in its academy, such club would therefore be in crises sooner than later. Nigeria like such football club, have misplaced youths and therefore should not expect any policy to reach its desired goal, no matter the sincerity, no matter the alacrity. Despite this shortcoming, Nigeria have to fill up its public offices with qualified officers, hence the lucky rich in our society have gone out of the country to buy their ways in foreign Higher Institutions and have come back with a well cultured, attractive certificate profile. A cross section of our senators, representatives reveals a hopeless, patchy situation this country have gotten into. In advanced countries, their senate and representative houses contains honest, truthful, experienced men and women, similar to what we see in the Senates of Universities like University of Ilorin, University of Lagos, University of Ibadan etc, In Nigeria, our senators and representatives are by-products and their discussions are so unreliable and unrelenting. These people are mean, callous and wicked. They are fat people who have occupied all positions that would have brought hope for Nigerians and worse still, all sensitive committees, meant to investigate, alleviate and reward are made up of these dubious people and that makes Nigeria a country with no hope for development, at least not for now, Lack of education in Nigeria is a menace of many years and it has gradually, successfully modified Nigerian's ways of life, methods of thoughts and pattern of reactions to all that has befallen this nation. They Vote and they never realize they can remove, they build and never realize they can destroy and armed with Religion as a tool, they have all looked to the sky waiting for a miracle for their anomalies. Religion / Re: Christmas Bombings: God Is Powerless! by Kpac(m): 9:02pm On Dec 30, 2011 |
Hmmmmmm I take my breath deeply and lift my head up with hurried conclusion, Nigeria Is Going Down Nigeria would be brought down completely. Let the Righteous stay firmly on their God and ask for mercy and protection from the catastrophe that would befall Nigeria in Days. Nigeria i see now, Nigeria i would see no more. With shy patience, i have read this post and studied hitherto the comments and now i see clearly the message on the wall, Nigeria is in its last days. The Rebellion, Hate, Wickedness, Pain, Affliction and Sin that besieged Jericho has plagued Nigeria and surely, with this post as one of my numerous proofs, Nigeria is going to be destroyed. I beg and advice the Righteous to prepare for the "dark cloud" coming, pray without season and make sensitive plans. May God Guide us, Protect us and have mercy. The truth in its most simplified form is , The End Time Has Started "For many would be led astray, Children of God would be mocked, Believers would throw their bible at the dogs and fill their heart with satisfaction of all the pleasures of this world" "Be prepared lest you fall also" Kpac Trium |

Goodluck Jonathan I have cultured myself not to get myself repeatedly disappointing at his comments, actions and responses anymore. That man, i'm sure have been a source of worry and surprise to Obasanjo, PDF chieftains and his other Referrals in 2009. Nigerians should but stop complaining and get some hard facts about Mr Goodluck Jonathan swallowed, he is a complete gentleman, soft, easily convinced, easy going and not a natural trouble maker. This qualities are NOT want we wanted but sentiments have made my fellow Nigerians voted him. Your politicians know Nigerians are such a passionate people, people who can be controlled by few events, politicians know your weak points and they are hugely taking all the advantage of that to DECEIVE us with. The truth is Goodluck Jonathan CANNOT rule this country and in a sane country, he is expected to resign, in as much as i want to see that, i dont think it would bring any desired result because Mr Sambo (VP) is muck alike to our president in gentleness. Mr Goodluck Jonathan have been hugely insulted by Nigerians, which to me is unfair to his person, i am convinced that man is seriously wishing this country well and doing his best to make and execute plans for a better country, we have to realize that, lets give in for truth and give credit to the good part of his. Haven said that, we wish to let him know his very last best is too small for our expected requirement, his plans and his ways of executing them are seriously rooted in corruption and his priorities are tearing this country apart and except he wishes to be that last president of Nigeria (as predicted) he should honorably step down and if possible by any means take along his VP (Mr Sambo) and his world's most expensive cabinet members with him. Boko Haram This are groups that to me have quelled all doubt that they are serious about their plans and would not stop killing their targets, who are helpless and unprotected. They are enjoying free will in a country of incapable security agents and a spectating president. I would not see any end to their bombs and killings as long as Mr Goodluck is the one calling the shots, but if by tomorrow, you hear Boko Haram have stopped their killing, irrespective of what the press tell us, Nigerians should know that Billions of Naira has been spent from the federal account, yet again to buy peace for few months. Nigerian Police Force The most unreliable, in-supportive, unrepentant, fore-runner of corruption body in Nigeria. With increased salaries, improved welfare and generous donations from the public and banks, they have proven they should not be relied on for any quality service to the masses. They are seriously committed to the Government and since at present, The Nigerian Government and the masses are on opposite sides, the police are on the side against the masses and that is the truth in the most simplified terms. Boko Haram made public their threat to bomb Christians religious houses on Christmas, they talked about it and Nigerians have been aware of these threats days before they were successfully carried out YET NPF was getting themselves ready, training themselves harder and making strategies about inflicting pains on the masses should they go on with the plans of their demonstration against fuel subsidy. They even have boastful guts to ask the federal government to provide them with many more teargas and pepper spray for that day they dont know. President. A president amongst many qualities is expected to value the life of any of its citizens with such great passion and priority. He is expected to show it and do anything to protect this people with all the resource at his disposal. He should work tirelessly, have meetings, that is targeted at benefiting them, even to the last citizen and should be concerned about the implementation of his people's oriented policies, going around himself to make sure these people gets the results of his packages. This is a vital thing missing in Mr Goodluck Jonathan and even if a whole town is bombed, his reaction and comments can make a healthy person urgently hypertensive. Fellow Nigerians, things are getting seriously out of hand, our uncles, cousins, neighbours and compatriots are loosing their lives for the shortcomings of the president, you all chose and the only fair thing to do to these lost innocent souls is not to just send your heart-felt condolences to their families but to collectively reverse the problems you collectively started. May the labour of our heroes past never be in Vain. |
Politics / Re: The True "beneficiaries" Of Subsidy Revealed by Kpac(m): 1:34pm On Dec 08, 2011 |
Like a wave, everyone in Nigeria except for those with spiritual immunity and God's divine guidance would all be affected by the plague all around the country. Like the days of Pharaoh, Nigeria has just begun experiencing plagues of social disaster, moral degeneration and economic hardship. No scientific investigation, economic restructuring or mass award of inflated contracts can solve it to any least expected level. I am however amazed and deeply hurt with comments from my co-youths here on Nairaland, i wonder if any messiah can succeed in this country for now, 5 years at least, cos the present youth are nearly empty. The little virtues and intelligence these present youths have with them are being forcefully sustained by the religious houses they visit and the prophet they look up to. Your leaders spend your money as if its a free-resource and they would still complain of lack of funds. I am not willing to draw any mortal man into any political arguments or justifications because its not what a 1000 paged journal can explain. National ID cards contracts was awarded for =N= Billions - Its now a failure, no ID card replacement, No Updated National Database of Citizens, No database of contact addresses etc. You walk up to the center, give the any name you so wish and submit an address you can lazily think of. Voters Registration Contract was awarded for =N= Billions - Its now a failure. No means of valid verification, No permanent Voters card to the registered masses, No consequences for those who spit at the verdicts, No compact database of voters. When the much hyped biometrics failed them, they quickly reversed to manual which was baseless. I can continue to mention how your governments have spent Trillions of Naira on contracts and projects which have all turned into huge scams Last year, Lagos-Ibadan express way was patched and maintained by Bi-Courtney for yet another =N= Billions, you might want to take that route now and see the roads requiring another =N= Billion contract for maintenance. In a nut shell, i am a Nigerian, 1 out of 150 Million and i can rightly say the removal of subsidy : would have grave, dying effect on about 105 Million Nigerians would have average effects on about 39 Million have little effect on about 5 Million and No noticeable effect on the rest 1 Million Nigerians. So whose interest should it be meant for ? The Poorly Many or the Richly Few ? For those who wants simple analysis : When fuel subsidy is removed, the following would likely occur everyday, > Biro turns =N= 30 > 35cl Coke turns =N= 80, 50cl Coke turns =N= 120 > COT from Banks turns =N=10 > Bike from Ikeja Under Bridge to Allen Junction Turns =N= 120 > School fees adds up about 40% > Pure Water turns =N= 10 in urban areas and =N= 15 in Rurals > Lagos to Ibadan via public transit turns =N= 1,500 > Punch Newspaper Turns =N= 250 > A simple T-Shirt Turns =N= 2,000 > A plate of Rice moves from =N= 200 in Ikeja to =N= 350 > All foodstuff adds up about 50% > ETC including EVERYTHING Please Note that the President, Governors, Senators , Reps, Councilors, Traditional Rulers, Pastors, Imams, Musicians, Media People, Militants and other Strong Oppressing Groups would not be among the 105 Millions Nigerians who would sweat their lives out to go through the day by day hardships. I wonder, just wonder what incentives are on the way to justify a life full of hardship, frustration and murmur. Only one prayer i pray everyday, that i still have reason(s) to stay and live in my Country. |

Politics / Re: Ekweremadu Asks Senate To Legalise Prostitution by Kpac(m): 3:52pm On Oct 06, 2011 |
Imagine if all the goals attempt of the highest paid footballer is all from offside position. Imagine if the highest paid striker in the world scores 5 goals every season. That is the case of the highest paid senators in the world - Nigerian Senators. Last week, it was the debate of legalizing same sex marriages, this week they want to give prostitutes "License" to Sin. If their only tangible reason of attempting to legalize it is because they have failed to control it, then there are chances of them legalizing the following : > Armed Robbery > Oil bunkering > Hard Drug Trafficking > Child Trafficking > Rape and the rest they have all failed to reduce and control over the years. If there are no topics to discuss at the Senate house, please go back to your constituencies and help our fellow countrymen and women who are seriously looking for food and jobs. If these are the people that passes the law, Corruption would soon be our major export commodity apart from Crude Oil. I hope we can all review our national anthem because it is looking more convincing by the day that "The labor of our heroes past would end up being in Vain." |

The best thing to do on Nairaland these days is JUST to read and shake head to the comments by 90% of the users here. It always amazes me how morals in Nigeria have suddenly turned away from the youths and teenagers we have nowadays. Intelligence is now lacking, if you have a good ride now and can show generosity here and there, Nigerians are behind you. Even if you go wrong and you are guilty, here on Nairaland, it first turns Tribal, then Religious, then Political and Finally it turns out of hand and with no direction.Sentiments now occupy 80% of our youth's brain and there is nothing they say or contribute to that is free and fair. > Mercy Johnson gets married to someone who has not divorced his former wife, Christ embassy went ahead with the wedding with no Press release of why they are taking the decision, Nigerians hail her and tell her to carry on. We love mercy Johnson but that shouldn't blind us, when she does something wrong, we should let her face the music. > Bode George embezzles Nigerian rail money, went to a short term jail, Nigerians roll out the drums and give his welcome a good ovation plus a live coverage on National TV. Thousands have died on Nigerian Roads, our uncles, niece, nephews, brothers and sisters have all lost their lives at one time or the other, if Bode George have used the money well, our rails would probably be doing fine, we would have enjoyed traveling safer and faster using the rails instead of the bad roads. > Olisa Adibua beats co-worker silly and embarrassed him also treating him with scorn, Nigerians call for his expulsion from Glo Naija Sings, Other Nigerians say he has apologized and the call for his punishment is the work of his enemies. When a popular figure does such things in Advanced Countries, irrespective of his apologies, he/she would be expelled from any public or private firm, but here in my Country it is called blasphemy. This Sentiments have eaten deep and we are killing our country ourselves, Nigerians used these sentiment to vote Goodluck Jonathan as our president. Many used the sentiment of Niger Delta, Others used sentiments of South South, Other used Sentiments of Religion, Others the sentiments of Goodluck Jonathan political history, the worse sentiment was people voting for him because he bears "Goodluck". The same way many NURTW members in Lagos voted Olorunwa as their leader in Lagos and now they are realizing the guy is the opposite of his name. I am a Nigerian, from Ogun State, a Christian and Lives In Lagos State. I will help, vote or assist any bona fide Nigerian based on merit, history and performance, if the messiah of my beloved Nigeria is from Lagos State or from a rural town in Ebonyi state, or maybe from a settlement in Niger State or maybe from a clan in Benue State, lets let credible people live their dreams for this country, lets help ourselves, lets stop stabbing our country. @noble_gas1 , your sentiment made you made the comment that "Nigeria is burning, Obasanjo is dancing" if these be true then i'll say "Nigeria is burning, noble_gas1 is browsing". No matter who is on GEJ's cabinet as ministers, no matter the new innovations brought to Nigeria, no matter the contracts awarded, no matter what is done in the present Nigeria. Nigeria would never DEVELOP is we all stay these way. How can we develop, if because an Okada man hits a student, students riots and burn houses and kill okada men. How can we develop, if because an electric poll falls down on a commuter bus, commuter driver invade PHCN office and burns and vandalism anything on sight How can we develop, if we all throw our pure water sachets, biscuit sachets etc on the road and we all curse the Governor all the way in Alausa for our clogged and bad roads. How can we develop, if we see 419's on the street and because we are wise enough to detect them, refuse to report them to the authorities and allow them free day to dupe the less privileged people. How can we develop, if we find a particular pure water very bad and contains dirt and we refuse to call their mobile numbers to report so that they are aware of what harm can be done. How can the Nigerian Police stop been corrupt, if we all beg them in God's name and offer them bribe just because the Danfo we all boarded was caught passing one-way. I weep for my country. 2 Likes |
