The fear of God is what is used to control people like you.

I don't fear God, he cannot do jack to me. If he wants to show his power, let me fix hunger in Nigeria, then I will believe he is real. But if I get into a car accident tomorrow, I will not think that God is trying to show me he is real, because things like that happens to people all the time.

God was invented like Santa Clause. Parents use Santa Clause to get kids to behave, but when the kid grows up, you use God. When that grown up kid is asking why good things happen to bad people, then you tell them that they will be judge when they die.

You guys just spit out what you have been brainwashed with, like you know for a fact.

Zaheertyler:

Imagine the prayer of a Christian in a country like Luxembourg 😂😂😂you go see wetin I Dey talk
God will not expose them
He will judge them
It’s your work to be aware and educated to expose them yourself
Trust is very important so when selecting your leaders make sure transparency and accountability is at the base of their character..
Religion / Re: If You Believe In God, Why Is... by kris(m): 2:05am On Aug 12
And those politicians are hardly ever punished. When bad things finally happen to a politician, they will say na God, forgetting that bad things are happening to them themselves the righteous ones on a daily basis. In that case they say it's the devil tempting them. grin

kingxsamz:

Seems very useless then. Why then do you pray?
And when is he exposing our mamy corrupt politicians? Those ones lie with religion and steal from the masses while their pockets grow fat.

Exactly. They will also claim he doesn't change. If he doesn't change, then I don't need to ask him to get that big contract, because if it's his will for me to get it, I will get it, if it's not his will, then my prayers will not change him.

kingxsamz:

They'll tell you free will blah, blah, blah, while also believing that praying to their god could make him interfere in the decisions of humans.

So you have to be pure at heart for God to do miracles for you? So no single sinner has ever experienced God's miracle?

So how do people know the one true God? Cause many people swear that they worship the one true God, they even kill for him, and claim he gave them the power to conquer their enemies as they kill their enemies.

I think you are all full of it and using God and religion as an excuse for your actions.

Zaheertyler:

That is another topic altogether
There is need but most prayer points can be answered by us
Like good health care , education and employment opportunities will solve the issue
Any Nigerian with health issue of 4 million na miracle e go end because where 4 million to treat himself Dey?
Doesn’t mean that God can’t hear their prayers
But for man to touch Gods heart we need his mercy because only a genuine and pure heart can get to him I.e heart that follows Jesus Christ the lamb that was slain
Too tell you how hard it is.. only 144,000 people would pass the test.. we have 8 billion people now
Imagine the population it will be then and then less than 1% are the true worshippers of the true God lol
Big lol.. even me self that is talking

Religion / Re: If You Believe In God, Why Is... by kris(m): 1:52am On Aug 12
The end time has been coming for thousands of years now. grin

People in developed countries also worship riches.

Your answers doesn't answer anything.

MaxInDHouse:
Surely you have a lot of questions in your mind but then why do you trust social media where most people have the same unanswered questions in their minds?

Well let me answer TWO out of your questions and allow you to meditate on what the Bible says!

•Why is God not helping Nigeria fix the many problems it have?

*God didn't promise a relief in the end time rather things will continue to worsen according to the mindset of people in each location:

But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 2Timothy 3:1-5

Now carefully read through the highlighted in blue and try to think of a country much more wicked than Nigeria in what God said will lead to hardship in the last days!

•Many Nigerians pray daily for God to help them, but most times their prayers go unanswered, why is that?

*Most Nigerians are worshipers of Mammon (Riches) so don't look at their hypocritical self gratification claiming prayer warriors.
Their hands are filled with blood as they are desperate for wealth and careless about the welfare of their neighbors {Mark 12:29-31} so this is what God said about wicked people like Nigerians:

Hear the word of Jehovah, you dictators of Sodʹom. Pay attention to the law of our God, you people of Go·morʹrah. “Of what benefit to me are your many sacrifices?” says Jehovah. “I have had enough of your burnt offerings of rams and the fat of well-fed animals, And I have no delight in the blood of young bulls and lambs and goats. When you come to appear before me, Who has required this from you, This trampling of my courtyards? Stop bringing in any more worthless grain offerings. Your incense is detestable to me. New moons, sabbaths, the calling of conventions —I cannot put up with the use of magical power along with your solemn assembly. I have hated your new moons and your festivals. They have become a burden to me; I am tired of bearing them. And when you spread out your palms, I hide my eyes from you. Although you offer many prayers, I am not listening; Your hands are filled with blood. Isaiah 1:10-15

So it's not God's fault rather the inhabitants of Nigeria.

Ask each person you see around you if they are ready to welcome a situation where all civil servants will be paid the same salary monthly and see how 99% will object as if they will love to be slaves while their fellow citizens live in affluence.
Meaning each person is anticipating a time he or she will live big while their fellow citizens can't afford three square meal.
Each of them wants cooks, cleaners, gardeners, drivers and other domestic staffs while their children treat fellow Nigerians like slaves on their own father's land!

So their prayers doesn't reach the ceiling or roof of their worship centers because they are all WICKED in their hearts! undecided
Religion / Re: If You Believe In God, Why Is... by kris(m): 8:11pm On Aug 11
So are you saying there's no need for prayers? Why don't many of the believers understand it your way? There will be less violence if they see it your way, can God make that happen?

Zaheertyler:
He created the system and made you conscious
He has done enough
The other countries understand this concept
MAN IS THE CARETAKER OF THE PHYSICAL WORLD
so when we are ready to understand the world around us
To take care of it and protect it
God will not come and build standard roads for or provide hospitals or standard electricity for you
You have to come together and think of the best ways to do all this things
If your intentions are good God will only bless your efforts
If your intentions are bad time will expose you
These are just basic understanding

Why is God not helping Nigeria fix the many problems it have?

Many Nigerians pray daily for God to help them, but most times their prayers go unanswered, why is that?

Why are countries where they don't believe in God as much doing better than us?

Why is God not helping fix the bad governance in Nigeria?

Why do believers pray to God to help them get visas to countries where they don't respect God as much as they do in Nigeria.

Why is it that in football, countries that hardly pray to God, tend to beat us almost 100% of the time, if though we pray to God a trillion times before the game?

Why is there so much confusion among believers on the nature of God and how he wants to be worshipped? They even kill each other in the name of God.

How long will your prayers go unanswered before you realize that it actually doesn't work. You will get the same result if you pray or not.

I don't believe in God, God and religion were made up by men to control others and enrich themselves. I also believe that the belief in God and religion is what has kept countries like Nigeria backwards. The countries doing the best in the world are those that are heavily invested in Science and Technology. And yes, no country is perfect.

But if you think that we are on earth just to prepare to go to heaven, then stop doing anything else and just share the word of God till you die. No need to go to school, no need to work, after all your God does miracles, he will send manners from heaven, like he does for the pastors that don't work, but are rich. grin

What he said is so funny and dumb! The whole point of football is denying your opponent the ball, and then scoring.
No matter what tactics you use. There is no tactics where you pass the ball to your opponent, this is not tennis or volleyball.

Denying your opponent ball is negative football?

Of course they hope that most people will go and not stay. There was a time that it was not this hard, that was when Nigeria's economy was good and people went and came back.

The embassy even gives visas knowing that some of those will stay. The reason being that they have a quota to meet in letting people into the US, people they know will become citizen in the future. They know the power of diversity, so they want immigrants, they just don't want too many from one country or region. Because that's how balance is maintained. They prefer to get the smartest ones, but they also give some opportunities to people that are not so smart.

So if they came back and never had intentions to stay, they are not emigrants.

My guy, we are talking about someone wey japa from Nigeria to US and then coming back to Nigeria, or just sending money back home to buy up properties and starting business in Nigeria, in naira.

Yes you can pay your bills and still save. You have to be smart with your money and not get sucked into the system of spending money you don't have.

Ade1177:

Exactly keep calculating in naira

Is naira spent in US or UK?

Talking as you make the $1,000

You won't spend for yourself atall in dollars

You'll keep it all and not pay bills in the same dollars

You'll convert the full $1,000 dollars to naira and spend it

What does it take to become a millionaire in Naira? A little over $1,000 right?
Any nanny for the US can become a millionaire in Naira easy.

Ade1177:

I'm sure you are in Nigeria

You are part of those that believe

You make money abroad in Pounds and start calculating it in naira ba?

You make the money and spend it in pounds

Even if you life like a pauper and not buy anything I mean anything atall

You can't become a millionaire just because you are earning in pounds

You can starve yourself for 1yr and spend the money by coming back home to become a millionaire

Yes, that's how it is in the US. And if I move from Colorado to Texas or any other state, I just need to go get the ID or drivers license and I will become a resident of that state and I can enjoy every rights in that state.

Even though it's clear that I'm originally from Nigeria, nobody can deny me anything once I get the ID or drivers license of the state. And if anybody does, then they are breaking the law, and I have a great chance of winning in court and being compensate.

uuzba:

Well some basic rules must be agreed to before unity will work.
1. We are all of different tribes. So nobody should speak his tribe language when we unit. We must all speak English.
2. No tribe mus feel that he is the one superior to other tribes.
3. Anywhere a person is born, that is the person's state of origin.
4. Any tribe can buy land, live and marry in any part of the country.

Make you look at salaries abroad before you talk o! Even driving Uber for US you can be making easily 1.5 million naira a week. Yes a week.
Maybe your government can pay comparable salaries if they stop stealing, but I'm sure they don't want to stop stealing.

I believe that Nigeria can be great, but it will require unity. When we are united, we will do great things.

Imagine a Medical Doctor takes 8- years or a Consultant -that takes over 12- yrs to become capable,so some Nigerians in their shops or one room office,or living apartments may not understand the gravity of Japa Syndrome now!
The best approach,is for the government ( Federal and States) should devise a means of tackling this menace, from the Global perspectives - not from a lay man point of view!
• A State in Nigeria can even set the ball rolling by given a Wage, Salaries and Allowances, a good Working Environment,Housing, etc - comparable to what is obtainable abroad,as a starting point!

Example could be that you're going for a boxing match, a UFC fight, a golf tournament, a Beyonce concert, a soccer game, a 90th birthday celebration of your grandfather who lives in America.

These events have a date, so that forces them to make a decision on time, and that moves your application to the front.

What una need to do is to unite. When united, you defeat all. Nigeria would be very strong, if they were united. But lack of unity, na him make country be as e be. No be white man do una, na una do unaself.

uuzba:

This our Naira that doesn't have value.
You will package N1200 (one thousand, two hundred naira) before white man will give you only $1 (one dollar).
And we think that is normal? Why not, I give you ONE naira, you give me ONE dollar in exchange?
Why must my own be so worthless?
Untop of all that, they will gather N23 billion Naira from Nigerians and REJECT their visa again.
So you go and sell the whole regions of Nigeria, gather another money and give them...
then they reject that visa again.
Wetin remain to sell give white man for visa fees?

The same nanny for developed country will be richer than most of your doctors in Nigerian in less than 1 year. He or she will be able to buy up lands in the village and start a business, while most of those that stayed will still be struggling.

My point is that you should not make fun of those that travel out and get jobs like nanny, because if they are smart, they will grow from there into something bigger and better.

Ade1177:

Each time I see japa

I just know that each of them has 5million naira or even 10million naira

With the way they crowd the place

There's alot of money to be made in Nigeria

I wish all of them can go and become nanny, office cleaners and road sweepers

likee I said , if they are strong enough and smart enough to take away the land I bought with evidence to prove it in court that the land belongs to me , then I will accept it as one of those things amongst humans nature nothing new

I don't claim Christianity, I was born into a Christian family but as I grew older I realize all religions just like traditions including Christianity are nothing but human made norms values and taboos made by smart people to mentally countrol others who are not as smart as them and to also help unite those set of people to see themselves as one people under same beliefs and practices

At 22 years (1986) where was Yekini! At 22 years Oshimen was already one of the best strikers in the world (AFON and World Cup qualifiers highest goal scorer) but missed the AFCON through injuries. At 20 years, Oshimen already had AFCON bronze.

At 24 years, he has achieved what Yekini could only dreamed of! At this stage of Yekini's life he can't lace Oshimen's shoe. And what Oshimen will achieve in the future will only be a pipe dream for Yekini.

Unfortunate to lose out on away goal rule against Ghana without most of our top midfielders available for that game.
