I will not be the one to say she misrepresented information because I don’t know the person and I have no information other than what she posted.

Instead of Cyprus there are better European countries you can face but will still be capital intensive and the processing of study permit I don't know how it's done in Nigeria here. Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Netherlands at least those countries are good also.

But the fact that the travel ban has been attached to my name isn't that going to affect my application to other countries?

No I didn't sign any representative form. The agent definitely acted on my behalf do you know what I even find funny the most, its the fact that his telling me that he wants to try Cyprus so that I can go before April and I don't like Cyprus, I told him No so he's saying that he's done with my application that he would refund all my money that I should go and find another agent. After messing up my Application, he's now telling me this.... I'm so pissed rn

Also vet the lawyer and your new application in Nairaland as you move forward so if there is any error, you can be guided.

Pls don’t do this on your own. I think the 5year ban is too serious to be done on your own unless you can do a great job and it’s airtight.

There are legit immigration lawyers that you can access from CAnada to fight this claim.

First of all, please try and take down the letters and blot out your personal details. This is a public platform and you should not release your information anyhow to be on the safe side.

Secondly, they have pointed out two things: the name of your mum on your application is different from the name you quoted as mum in the sworn affidavit.

Two different people can not be your mum at the same time.

If it is true, then this is a clear case of misrepresentation and they DO NOT take such likely.

It has been stated that if you can clearly explain the reason behind the discrepancies, then apply and explain and see what happens.

This is a serious case and you should thread with utmost caution.

I'm sorry but your agent is right, you have been banned for 5years. The first correspondence dated October 2020 was an initial warning that should misrepresentation be found, you would be banned. The letter dated February 2021 is a confirmation of it, letting you know they have completed their findings and you have been banned for the reason stated in the letter.

Please, find a way to remove or blur your name in the picture above, it should be confidential information.

from my understanding, after reading this you've been banned for 5 years and you're allowed to apply after 5 years.

But the thing is that my agent was the one who made the mistake and I know my mistake now and I have the right documents. So what your saying is that it's not possible to reapply even tho it was clearly stated that am welcomed to re apply if I feel that they've made a mistake? Which I feel they did, I mean I can prove myself not guilt or am I just trying to fit it to my own narrative? Am open to other people's opinion BTW

Pls I need help so I've gotten admission to the university of Manitoba since November 2019,the decision envelope came February beginning I got denied so i applied for visa again march 2020 before the coronavirus came and embassies we're shutdown and all, I emailed my uni explaining what's going, the told me I have three multiple start dates which is jan2020, may2020 and sept2020 but I missed all three and sent another email to the school they gave me the option to defer my admission thereby moving it by one term making my start dates june 2020,September 2020 and January 2021 now the issue is January just passed i was hoping my visa would arrive january but it didn't so basicailly I've lost my admission, now my visa still no response from the embassy the only thing they returned was my passport without it stamped a little paper saying my application is still in process and this was October 2020,Right now am confused, am I missing something pls help
