Veteran Nigerian Nollywood movie Producer, Zeb Ejiro has cried out for the need to Vote out Buhari's administration in a Press Conference held recently by The Creative Industry Group(CIG) in support of Atiku Abubakar Presidential bid and Jimi Agbaje Gubernatorial bid respectively.

The group which is a coalition of the entire Creative sector, comprising of Recording Artists, Record Labels, Actors, Comedians, Film Producers, Fashion Designer etc, under one banner to speak with one voice on behalf of the entire creative industry.

According to Mr. Zeb Ejiro, the current administration do not have any plan or blueprint for the Creative Industry.

He bemoaned... "Nigeria used to be the second biggest movie producing Nation in the world by UNESCO some years back. In the last dispensation, The movie industry contributed 2.7% of GDP". The movie industry used to be the third biggest employer of Labour in Nigeria but we cannot say the same today. The industry is totally in a state of comatose, Nothing is happening in the movie industry".

He however call on everyone in the creative industry to come out en masse and Vote Atiku Abubakar for President and Jimi Agbaje for Lagos State governor.

" So no matter where you are... 16th is a date to decide your future, 16th is that date you need to decide to put food back on your table, 16th is that date you need to decide to start going back to location and doing what you love to do so much. It is not just about you, you need to convince at least 50 people. This is a lifetime thing. The industry is not standing anymore. Another four years of the present dispensation, this industry will vanish. We won't see it anymore." He concluded.

JIDE IJIMAKINWA'S FLAG OFF


The Action Democratic Pary (ADP) Candidate for Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1, Lagos State House of Assembly, Jide Ijimakinwa has declared that indeed Amuwo Odofin deserves a better and credible representation in order to effect positive change.

Jide, who humbly wishes to be addressed simply as "JIDE IJIMAKINWA" without the usual title of "Honourable" as seen on all his print campaign materials retrieted that there"s nothing more honourable than fulfiling the promises made to the people in his constituency.

He said that Amuwo Odofin needs a strong voice who will speak for them at the State House, not one who will sit and watch as their shops and houses are been destroyed thereby causing unbearable hardship to families living within Amuwo Odofin.

I REMEMBER LEAH...

When the story broke sometime last week about the release of the Dapchi girls, we were all ecstatic and happy, I was elated because of the news and felt the joy of the Holy Ghost regardless of whether they were Muslims or not. I just felt so happy with the fact that the defenseless young girls that were abducted a month ago will be reunited with their parents and loved ones.

Shortly after the news broke, we learnt that the barbaric abductors refused to release one girl. I was shocked and wondered why that may be so until I learnt from one of the abducted girls that it was because she refused to be converted to Islam. My heart pumped Adrenalin into my body, I was shell shocked and could not move my muscles for a while until I gathered myself together and tears filled my eyes, my heart said a silent prayer for the Leah for that is the name of this brave girl.

The scriptures tells us that the girl is going to be rewarded by the Lord because she didn’t deny her Master and Savior; But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

I am amazed, encouraged, inspired and energized by the faith of Leah in Dapchi, she is already our own ‘Malala’ in Nigeria and should be celebrated as such. She didn’t deny her faith and held unto her confession of Christ, she refused to be converted even if it would be fake conversion for her freedom; the whole Christendom should imprint her name on marble and make her a heroin of our faith.

Miss Green And White Nigeria Officially Crown New Queens: Replaces Dethroned Queen

In a press statement to further ascertain the validity and continuation of the Miss Green And White Nigeria Beauty Pageant. The Organizers of the MGWN pageant have come out with a Press release announcing the crowning of their beauty queens.. Miss Julia Godwin and Miss Joan Ochada respectively. The latter is a direct replacement of MGWN former queen who was dethroned for misconduct few months ago. She was the 2nd runner-up in 2015 MGWN Beauty Pageant.

This is to officially announce the crowning of Miss Julia Godwin as Miss Green And White Nigeria 2015 Hospitality.

Miss Julia Godwin was among the top six, representing Benue State at the Miss Green And White Nigeria 2015 Beauty Pageant.

Another contestant who was also among the top six, Miss Joan Ochade Ifeekaonye who represented Anambra State at the Miss Green And White Nigeria 2015 Beauty Pageant replaces Miss Naomi Arinze, the 2nd runner-up 2015 MGWN Youth Empowerment, who was dethroned few months ago for gross misconduct.

Miss Ochade Joan Ifeekaonye has since taken over all official pageant duties until a new MGWN is crowned.

The MGWN would like to wish Miss Ochade Joan and Miss Julia Godwin the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Miss Naomi's Dethronement takes immediate effect as she will be replaced by another Queen. She's expected to return all belongings of MGWN within 7dauys and never to represent MGWN as a queen anywhere again.

Should Naomi be found flaunting herself as a Queen of MGWN after this press release, will be seen as impersonation. This is to make our stand known to the public that we remain a viable for positive changer and will never tolerate acts contrary to our objectives.
