Fingerpicking is pretty self-explanatory. You pick
with your fingers. Normally, guitarists use their
thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers to pluck strings sequentially and rhythmical without strumming your chord
for d finger picking, must it folow a pattern.. And pls wats d meaning of sweep picking

Yea, One of the very strong reasons why they are be used is the urge for Reharmonisation, Urge for more colourful tones, extensions but basically I want to say that extensions really start from 9th upwards because in this Generation that we are in Major 7th is now a Basic chord(Even in normal Contemporary Gospel nowadays it will be odd to run a service with ordinary major triads without 7ths...basically ur chord sud be with 7 most times dats d least..CEGB) like is the foundation and least you can start with on Jazz Journey, so adding 9th and odas are now called Extensions e.g. A major 9 (AC#EG#B) THRU ALTERED CHORDS G13b9(G.F: BEG#) dis is one of d jazzy ways u can voice dis particular chord...basically dey actually add more beauty to ur playing especially when u join d league of guys hungry for Jazz...you can get a lot of dem from Google just study d chords and listen to Jazz pieces for application..."If I were a bell " by miles Davis, Anthropology by Charlie Parker and numberless of dem...dey will also help by given ur appetisers dat will help motivate U

Theoretical ways of applying them
Reharmonisation
Substitution
Variations
Extensions
Altered e.t.c.

Get a Jazz book to get acquainted with the tons of chords, you can also get back to me via my contact on youtube for full tutorials on dis.
Shalom

i've tried looking for such books but i havnt found it.. I am presently at ibadan nw, bt wud go bk 2 lag afta my exams. Du u knw were i cn get such buks at any of the state

Where the song start determines it's key signature if on major good but if it's on a minor chord then the song will be played starting with that minor chord but also in relation to its relative major key, i.e. the oda chords dat will follow can be gotten from d it's relative major scale but the key signature still remains a minor key.(The Lord you are Holy that I talked about D first chord is a C minor 7 chord next chord is Abmajor den next Eb major chord (not considering passing chords here) so u can see how the circle works perfectly we are still in C minor but keep borrowing chords so to say from d relative major scale coz dey understood the relationship and it makes sense to Music that way.

To answer ur question again if a song is on A minor den d first chord starts on A minor chord (Lah like u said).

I have more videos subscribe and check inside the Channel.

U can join us on Instagram @Johnsonkeyz

Shalom
thanks, noted... Anoda question.
I easily knw WEN to add my major and minor chords, bt all dose 7th, 11th, and d rest.. Is there any theoretical way of applying it

thank you very much... i think i knw about d 12 major keys.. So pertaining to d 12 minor keys (cm, c#m....), if a song is being playd in a minor key, wil it b d regular drmfsltd dat wud b used to play d song or ltdrmfsl.. If it is latter (i.e ltdrmfsl), then how will it done....
Wat i mean is this: if a song is on Am, wil d doh in dis song be located on the lah of C or wil d doh be on the doh of key C... Becos, i jst realisd dat Am is d relative minor of C..

In Addition to what Mr Drammadidy said which is right also try and study your instrument in relationship to the circle of fourths /fifths. It will widen your musical vocabulary and help to create almost anything anytime. Whenever you learn chords learn in relation to the Circle you will appreciate music more that way. Shalom
