Your friend should give his wife a Y chromosome so she can give him a son, she's not the determinant of the sex of their children rather he is.

Good day, wonderful people!

In sequel to my former thread whether to opt for C-section or not, I am pleased to announce that my wife has put to bed on Friday and was delivered of two bouncing babies. The doctor gave me two options with their conditions and I had to choose the C-section own.

Another issue is that jaundice is detected in the twins. I don't know the medical terms or how to explain it but the smaller one has it more. The doctor advised me to do phototherapy. A nurse told me to put them out under the early morning sun. But breastfeeding is strongly advised. My wife lost blood and doesn't lactate much, so we're feeding them with SMA gold and glucose for the time being.

All in all, they're feeding well and everything is normal... except their midnight disturbance lol!

Thanks to all that proffered professional advice and the moms too that shared their own experiences. I appreciate you all.

Health / Re: Natural Birth Or C-Section For Twins? by Kuddy1010(f): 6:19pm On Feb 21, 2022
Funny how kept hammering on how the women of today are not has strong as our mothers, do you know how many of this "our Mothers" lost their lives in the process of giving birth? Many because of Obstructed labour, Cephalopelvic disproportion, Uterine tear and the likes, just because they want to prove a point of being a complete woman. You're taking advice from people who feels a woman having C-Section is lazy and less of a woman, her Obstetrician knows the best way for her to deliver those babies, please leave that to the discretion of her physician, and I'll also advice you take your wife to a Federal hospital (Teaching hospital or Medical Centre), the cost of treatment are way cheaper that Private hospitals and you get the advantage of having specialist in the case of Obstetrians and Trained Midwives that'll attend to her, Private hospitals are only after their money, even if you wife can deliver par vagina, they'll tell you CS because of the money they intend to make from you.

By the way, Congratulations in advance to your family, may God keep them and provide everything you'll need to take care of them.

Who said she can't breast feed her baby, the only thing is that she shouldn't mix feed, if she's exclusively breastfeeding her baby and not substituting with breast milk substitutes, your baby will be fine, this thing are usually taught during antenatal clinics, get her registered Asap, then you don't have to tell your extended family about it, she and your baby are your new family now.

Easy to say right,I'm sure if the Uni girl was funding his account steady and she has a quite rich Dad, "graduate boy" wont think of focusing on his career, rather he'll be thinking of wifeing her, abeg shift with the sentiments.

No girl is a ladder to my success. If she told him she wants to break up to concentrate on her studies, he will no doubt be heartbroken for a while but he will definitely get over it. Break up isn't palatable but sometimes, it is necessary. If he is considering breaking up, it's clear he wants out. I'm sure he has thought it through. He just needs suggestions on how to end it the right way

How would you feel if she walks up to you and tell you she wants to focus on her study coz she's in 200L and you're a distraction, as in if the table turned, how will you feel? all I see here is selfishness or probably you ain't telling the whole story, I'm guessing you've seen a working class lady and you realized the Uni babe ain't your type anymore.

Don't dump that girl if she's good like you claim, alot of you think every girl out there prioritize money over love, most of the girls out there only wants your loyalty and love reciprocated, not some #5000 you'll credit her account with.

Lastly thread carefully that girl might be your ladder to success tomorrow, think twice before you walk out of her life, above all do what suits you.
