Wip the boss.. I remember when i first came to the island and I went to see wip in the office with my other friend. He told me same thing about publishing papers and doing research (although Wip sir, u didn't get back to me again on sites for the articles.. Anyways I'm past that now.. Lol). Well my curiosity in publishing papers drove up and interest in research landed me a full-time assistant job, and also my thesis is on the way to being my first published article and many more still coming. Truth be told, that is one area, students hardly ask about, all they want is menial jobs that have no contribution to the future except stipends for the present. If you come to this island focused, ur persistent drive will definitely attract Professors to you as some of them are lazy and are usually happy when they see a student ready to work. As for scholars, speaking from the business angle, most of our professors either trained in Us, Uk or Canada and from very good schools, so you are definitely not at loss compared with Nigeria. Emu may not be Harvard or Cambridge but for their level, they are on of the best. Anyways look beyond their laziness here and I must emphasize, DO NOT LISTEN OR GIVE IN TO HEARSAYS OF PEOPLE, people do a lot of that here in the negative, it could run you mad, stay true to your goal. you can only go as exchange student that depends on your school and course of study.you can also transfer but its like looking for admission all over again.i moved for usa for just fieldtrip am working on pyrophilous insect found in nevada and we there to get sample.i will be back to germany by june to defend my thesis.brothers am speaking out of love and experience i went through wrong source and fake agent.i was fortunate because my family decided to give me a 2nd chance,not everyone has or will have such opportunity.see i know guys in lithuania struggling to convert or get the german residency.just follow my advice and bone dos wicked agents.i did all my admission and visa stuff myself.

Yes the lawyer came and interviewed me on december 12th last year, he was nice and i even keep some little money for transport.. i meet him again later and he told me everything was on progress that the embassy would start attending to applicant for visa processing by January and now this February no calls yet.. March 4th is resumption. I was told the consular is not on sit, she is a brazillian woman.

hey guys from experience if your school is resuming on 4th of march and your visa is not yet issued,i would advice you contact your school and explain things to them,ask them to give you an updated admission letter with new date.i had that same problem where my school resumed 3weeks before my visa was issued.portugal is not bad but life is sort of difficult there.

Hello house! I sent an email to the German Embassy on Monday following my student visa refusal and withholding of my passport on account of fake entry/exit stamps and visa immediately I got home and they sent me an email that I can appeal if I think the rejection was wrongful.

I already sent in the Notice of Appeal the following day being the 14th. The question now is; will the appeal be treated here or in Germany and what is the maximum waiting period? If my appeal is allowed; that is, successful, will I be given back my International Passport so I could go for a replacement or they will still send it to the Immigration as alleged in the rejection letter? Moreso, will I be allowed to apply for a German student visa in the near future and how soon? I know my questions are a bit weird but I just want people with similar experiences to comment and/or contribute so I can be better informed. I cant waste 3M like that so its better I know what my chances are so I will know if I should ask the school and Deutsche Bank to refund my money as soon as possible so I can seek admission elsewhere.

bros, abeg. I am seriously in confusion at the moment.
I applied for student visa lk for almost six weeks now at the German embassy but I'm yet to get positive reply. the has mailed several times saying that the alien office at my intended place of residence in Germany has yet to give them consent to issue me a visa.
my final enrollment deadline in my school is next Monday the 21st of ds month. two weeks ago, I was asked to send a motivation letter on why I want to study my intended course, which I sent immediately and they confirmed dat they forwarded it to the foreign office.
earnestly, I don't know, I am unable to assume what is going on, why mine should be lk dis.

I will advice you to shift ur travel date closer if ur ur enrolment is far past bro and ask ur school to issue u an updated mail saying u will be allowed to enrol when you come ( dats if ur enrolment is passed)

I did my interview on the 18th of sept got the mail to bring the 3month travel health insurance, got to the embassy on the 13th of October and was told to contact my school asking them to provide a mail saying that I will be accepted upon my arrival cos my deadline of enrolment was far past.

my advice to every nairalander is to try and get in touch with your school if your date of enrolment has passed, 4dem to issue u another cos the embassy will demand for it if you are called 4 visa

when making your travel insurance please all try to draw your travel date soonest, so u won't be delayed by the embassy.

all the best to all of you expecting the mail from the German embassy, you will surely get it
