Greetings my people. I am new to Mercedes and I somehow was convinced to buy a Mercedes e200 2007 that was up for sale at a mechanic's place. The car was already in limp mode. It displays something about reduce break power, abs etc. Somebody said the problem was the sbc. Those regular mechanics don't know how to go about it. I am in Lagos. Please help.

I have a well looked after Iphone4 (latest Iphone) with all it's accessories. It has no faults at all. You're free to inspect. And would love to swop it for a blackberry Storm2 (or later) so that I can ping my fiancé. Call 07054114711 if interested.

Your financial outlay for shipping your car from UK to Nigeria (either through Cotonou/Lagos) is
BMW Car (@£1,200) =N282,000
Shipping (@£500) = N117,500
Clearing -Cotonou=N170,000/Lagos=N240,00
LHD Conversion= N150,000-N200,000 (Estimate).

Shipping through
Cotonou=N769,500
Lagos=N839,500

Do you think you can get a BMW 3/5 series 2000/2001 model for that amount @ Cotonou ? And will you be willing to take a risk and shell out money for a proper LHD conversion to be done? That should guide your decsion making thoughts.

Thanks for your quick response. Can I ask if the car I bought is a little older than 10yrs, will you be able to clear for me at Cotonou. I have a 1999 Peugeot 406, I might as well ship home.

Cheers.

I live in the uk and will be coming to Naija soon. A 2000 or later model Bmw 3 or 5 series is ok by me for use while I'm home. I can get one in the uk for around £1,200 (+ or -). Should I consider shipping to Naija considering more money would be spent on shipping, clearing and the steering wheel change from RHD to LHD? or with the combined cost, would it be cheaper to buy from Naija or Cotonue? What is your advice?

@Motor2ride, shut up! It's the same all over the world. The Uk government will even crush your car if they find it where it is parked without updated licences.
