Politics / Re: FG Returns Toll Gates On Federal Roads by kunmiiii: 4:56pm On Oct 02, 2019
Well, i don't think this is the right way to go, Toll Roads have always been a form of regressive taxation; that is, compared to conventional taxes for funding roads, they benefit wealthier citizens more than poor citizens.

This subliminal post from Arsenal is a very disrespectful one and it takes a discerning mind to see its meaning.
Of all the possible pidgin words why "Chei, abeg commot for road".

We've become global lepers who are not welcome anywhere.
Not in Ghana
Not in South Africa
Not in USA
Not in Thailand
And now not in Arsenal.

Shame on the APC-led administration for making the once giant of Africa the laughing stock of the world.
Come on...this is a new low!

You listed the obstacles facing IVM including government persecution and still wondering why their prices are high

Do you want them to go into liquidation?
I skipped to the bottom line because all these challenges still births a ridiculous price tag which the person I replied was talking about.
But come, which one is govt persecution again Pls is there any concession or waivers given to others like ProForce that is denied Innoson??

Produce a car in Nigeria and know how costly it is
It's no brainer that Auto manufacturing is not thriving, No steel, limited forex, Auto policy bill, but that doesn't change the fact that the prices of IVM cars are ridiculous when compared, aren't they? And that's my point!

Religious hate is also a crime.

Imagine if an aboki tore Bible sheets into a sewage tank in Anambra state.

It might not look serious to you but a person who can do such to a people's sacred book can also do worse to the people who owners of the book - if the opportunity is available.

You get what I'm trying to say?

For almost all our history as Africans, religion has shaped our moral compass, yet no significant or sustainable progress or development. This is 2019 and we're still discussing issues like this, why should we be stuck in the past when the present and future looks so auspicious. It's really worrisome having debates and waking up to news like these!

What can I say?

People have been fined and imprisoned for disrespecting the American flag. And no one raised a brow.

Everyone has a right to fight against what they believe is sacrilegious.
Flag desecration is a crime, and it is backed up by several constitutional laws and penal codes at Federal levels. This is a completely different thing and there's no justification for this absurd and nonsensical approach by the Zamfara State Govt. Religion is a big problem in this country!!!

He must have thought this would put him in a better position come 2023.
Okorocha has been in politics for a while, he should know better - Yorubas have been working on the 2023 strategy way before he even dreamt it, a plan for every silly games any adversary wants to play and that's why there's no doubt in my mind all these charades will end in vain!

The suit is by Okorocha's man

He deliberately took to Kano to create an impression of a bigger plot against Tinubu by the north.

The Buhari and cabal we have come to know won't waste a minute if they really wanted to get rid of Mr Fowler cheesy

They did it Oyo-ita and numerous others.
Okorocha has a motive and very capable of this though, orchestrating all these stunts to get his pound of flesh grin

And finally albinoflash has dropped his account number to finally prove that he indeed is a scam.

He has cleared all shadow of doubt and wandering thoughts between suicide and fraud

However, bad eggs must never deter us of been kind to depressed people. Otherwise we too would have become like the bad eggs.

We must be full of kindness and encouragement towards depressed. We must encourge that they choose life.

But very importantly, really depressed people don't need our peanuts. It's the last thing on their mind during that tribulation period.

Cheers!
The play is the thing, wherein we'll catch the conscience of the king, the plot of this scam is a very sensitive one, especially now that Nigerians are paying more attention to depression, suicide cases and ideation, Albinoflash is just one of the many bad eggs that are deterring people from helping genuine folks in need, they are everywhere on social media now, from school fees scam, hospital debts, personal injuries and lots more, but this one in particular is a very sorry and pathetic case

Instant gratification and impatience have become hallmarks of our society.
And you concluded the young man was impatient and yearning for instant gratification because he took his life People are depressed for several reasons and not necessarily because of riches and gold, you might never have to deal with his circumstances in this lifetime and will never understand how losing an entire family can take a toll on a naive young man's state of mind, So stop referencing fascinating stories culled from the bible and ponder on the reality the young lad had to contend with.

That young lad must have felt so alone in the world without any emotional support system and affection from loved ones, you can't even begin to imagine the psychological torture he must have been enduring all these years, don't call anyone a coward until you walk a mile in their shoes.
