At least with my over 10yrs of investing in on NSE, I have witnessed the bad, the urgly and also the best. Presently, by God grace I don't incures losses again. I gained in capital appreciation and in dividend. At present, some investors are sleeping when they ought to have sold their holdings after price appreciation and dividend. There will never be a major price gains again with the general elections in view what will be happening is short gains and looses so my advice is sell your holdings, invest in may be TB for like six months then come back again when prices would have gone down cos some foreign investors would dump shares to keep their capital ahead of general elections and this will affect the prices to depreciate enmass. So investors be wise! I bought ucap 240k units @2.80 got a dividend of 0.35kobo per unit and sold for 3.76 now the price is dancing between 3.29 and 3.40, if I want to buy back @3.29 with the same fund, would get additional 30k units so that is the way to go investing on NSE. Am putting my money in tb and this will give me about 600k wen go back to stock, with all the money at lower prices, then will mop more shares giving me more money. My fellow that the way to go

Stone ke? Even if I liquidate my portfolio today, I will come out in green. Mature men should just learn when to keep quiet and hold their peace, not just looking for the tiniest of opportunities to rant.

Funny peeps think anybody who complains is hurting. If this was a paid forum, these noise makers would have since been taken out.

In my little champion's voice, "Who them epp?"

My able Oga @Kashif, I have been searching for ur contact. I have sent several emails still no reply. Kindly contact me sir: 07083236264. Thanks a lot!

Based on your explanation it flares(or slips) when it's about to enter gear 3 or 4, that is when on express road. After flaring, it picks up again from the first gear repeats the circle. The valve was removed and checked to see if it was stuck, after then it was washed with fuel and replaced back. When replaced, it complained of solenoid A even though it was not tampered with. I think the problem is with the valve body which I believe you can fix.

No Panic over Shale Oil Rebound

Responding to questions on the rebound of Shale oil and its likely impact on the market, Kachikwu explained that the recent rebound that halted the bullish price rise that the oil market witnessed on the back of production cuts agreements reached and implemented by member countries of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC members led by the Russian Federation was not so much of a worry to OPEC.
According to him, the slight drop in oil prices were still insignificant as to push OPEC to become reactionary.

He said: “In terms of the price, I don’t think we need to be panicky about it, we hit an all-time $70 per barrel in December, which was a surprise to all of us. We are not ruffled by it, I know it has come down to highest $60s now.

“Shale has got to be active and we know whenever we are in excess of $65, Shale gets very active because the fundamentals become much more supportive to Shale investments.

“But, I’ve always said that OPEC needs to just focus on itself and what it needs to do, and forget what is happening in Shale. Every OPEC producer must work hard to be a least cost producer because the truth is that if Shale can produce at $65, there is absolutely no reason why we should be struggling. So, upper $60s is not too bad, we moved from $27 and $28, let’s not begin to complain, it is a bit too early. These things fluctuate.”

Oil @ $64.88.
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Shale-Industry-May-Finally-See-Some-Profits.html

"The bottom line from WoodMac is that the shale industry, by and large, will become profitable this year if WTI stays at about $60 per barrel. If WTI sinks below $50, however, they will continue to burn through cash."
With this oil price will have to stay between $50-60 for everyone to be happy, Russia, USA, Nigeria, SaudiArabia, etc. in all prices at $50 isn't a bad price for Nigeria economy though more upside is positives. Foreign reserves increasing, Inflation figures going down. Outlook for our Economy this year is bullish...few weeks of bears should not derail our targets. As one says here Mr Time will tell...

The Technical Approach to Trading and Investing

Few human activities have been so exhaustively studied during the past
century, from so many angles and by so many different sorts of people, as
has the buying and selling of corporate securities. The rewards which the
stock market holds out to those who read it right are enormous; the penalties
it exacts from careless, dozing, or “unlucky” investors are calamitous. No
wonder it has attracted some of the world’s most astute accountants, analysts,
and researchers, along with a motley crew of eccentrics, mystics, and
“hunch players,” and a multitude of just ordinary hopeful citizens…..

Yes, I was debited by Stanbic IBTC on Friday.
They debit you from your principal, leaving your upfront interest behind in your account.
This means there will be no need of crediting you again.

It happened to me. I requested for my form there was no instructions asking them to roll it over. I requested that we send an email and a reminder but to no avail. I was asked to remind the officer two days before the expiration of the 90 days.
From ur experience, how much did u lose while liquidating because i'm seriously angry with them.

You might have mistakenly instructed your bank to do auto-rollover of your liquidated fund by ticking the column for auto- rollover on the TB form. Just yield to the advice given above by liquidating it before expiration through the secondary market and expect either a capital loss or gain.
Let's assume that I have mistakenly ticked(i couldn't recall though), liquidating means i'l loose like how much from ur experience or anyone experience?
