Even an idiot should atleast read before commenting

Read the report Omo ibo, God gave you sense for a reason
The crux of the report was that Hausas dared Amotekun and even engaged them in a bloody cash, and even injured several Amotekun operatives. Quite true that an unidentified person was killed, but what should be of major concern to you is that your Hausa superiors are even fighting you on your own turf, but i shouldn't expect better from a coward Yaribaa junkie who spends his miserable time obsessing over Omo Ibo cheesy cheesy

Go and face Musa Danladi in Ekiti, leave Nnamdi alone!

We have to hold on to the Osimhen generation and hope some of the British-Nigerian kids like Eze, Oliseh etc decide to play for Nigeria.. cause as it stands now I see a generational talent drought in Nigerian football that might take years to fix, we just can't produce talented players anymore from our youth systems. Senegal will dominate African football for a very very very long time.

Look at how Senegal and Mali play football, and you wonder what went wrong with Nigerian football? Mali and Senegal combined don't even have the population of Lagos alone, yet they consistently produce very intelligent and sublime footballers...honestly Nigerian football makes me want to vomit, APC have seriously destroyed our football and Sunday Dare (our worst sports minister ever) needs to answer questions.

I don't expect the U20 team to do anu better, no U23 Olympic football as well...the SW and the North have finished this country with mediocrity.

Politics / BREAKING: Bloodbath In Benue As Fulani Herdsmen Kill 28 Residents In Guma Local by Kwashiman: 8:27pm On May 11, 2023
BREAKING: Bloodbath In Benue As Fulani Herdsmen Kill 28 Residents In Guma Local Council, Army, Police Operatives Demand Money To Find Corpses

SaharaReporters gathered that the residents were gruesomely killed by the jihadist terrorists and herdsmen in the local government area between Sunday and yesterday, Wednesday.

No fewer than 28 people have been killed by Fulani herdsmen in renewed attacks on Mbawa Council Ward in the Guma Local Government area of Benue State, North Central Nigeria.
SaharaReporters gathered that the residents were gruesomely killed by the jihadist terrorists and herdsmen in the local government area between Sunday and yesterday, Wednesday.
Sources who spoke to SaharaReporters on Thursday, accused the Nigerian Army and Police of complicity in the one-month daily attacks in Guma LGA.
A resident of the place who gave his name simply as Barnabas confirmed the ongoing attacks on the Mbawa Council Ward, regretting that soldiers and policemen brought to protect the people did nothing to stop the herdsmen wielding sophisticated weapons.
According to him, the police operatives are also demanding N100,000 to search for corpses of those killed on their farmlands.
He said "Since 2018 up till today our community and other Communities in Guma local government have been under Fulani herdsmen attacks. But now it is getting worse especially since two weeks now, we have not rested in this community.
"Between Sunday and Wednesday, they have killed 28 persons. On Wednesday being yesterday they killed seven, on Tuesday they killed eight, on Monday they killed seven and on Sunday it was six they killed. So that is how it continues, it has become a daily massacre and it is even close to Internal Displaced Camp (IDPs) in Daudu in Mbawa Council Ward and the army camp is also there. In fact soldiers can see those Fulanis with weapons and they will not do anything.
"Last week the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Guma police division; I don't know how he managed to get the Fulanis and called all our chiefs and some elders for a meeting with the Fulanis. At the meeting he told our people that the Fulanis want to come and live in our community and that we should allow them to live with us.
"Recently the same Fulanis killed 36 persons and today they are here saying that they want to come and live with the same people.
"There is military and police presence and every day, they are killing our people; not one, not two, not three. Each and every day the killing continues and the federal government and security agencies are not saying anything. This is how people are dying every day. This is genocide; they want to swipe us out.”
He added, “Among the seven persons they killed on Thursday, four of them were volunteer guards and three were our comrades. They were killed and one was found and two are still in the bush. It is now that the people are preparing to use vehicles to go for the second time to look for their corpses and security agents are here. We even went to the police station here and DPO asked that we should look for N100,000 to give them to escort us to look for their corpses."
Lamenting the complicit of the security agencies especially the military and police, Barnabas said that when they went to the bush with some soldiers and policemen to recover the corpses of those killed that at a point, soldiers asked them not to go further that Fulanis were in the forest nearby with guns.
"How did they know? For me the security agencies are accomplices in the ongoing killings in our communities," he stated.
However, SaharaReporters efforts to get the reaction of the Benue police command were unsuccessful as the Command's spokesperson, CSP Sewuese Anene, did not take calls.

God bless the govt of Anambra state and the various security agencies putting their lives on the line to curb this madness. The SE will never be a breeding ground for terrorism, it's encouraging to see our local vigilantes units dealing with the situation so effectively, state policing is the way to go.

Then tomorrow you complain about how our football is poorly run. Forgetting that politics runs every thing in a society.

You can not have a prudent football system when your poliical structure is built on crime.
Why don't you go to the politics section and discuss political issues there? Most of them are tired of Nigeria but we use sports as an outlet to escape the harshness of Nigerian politics etc, that's why we are active on this subforum which you are trying to ruin again.

You will never know how shit Nigeria is until you travel put, I visited Abidjan and Accra last year December and I wished I never returned to the USA...very peaceful and serene atmospheres in both cities, stable electricity, a transportation system that actually works, good roads, affordable wares, beautiful curvy women, breathtaking beaches etc... I decided there and then to invest my businesses in both Ghana and Ivory coast. I've already made plans to buy a property in Accra and put people there as a way of making money, I've adopted Ivory coast and Ghana as my home countries now. If I'm in Nigeria then it's just to relax with family back in the East where I have most of my tech company investments. Naija is a shithole, I visited better climes and saw the light.

If the Nigerian army rolls into the SE now,you people will begin to cry like you did last time.
Nobody is scared of your Nigerian army of thugs who only turn into gladiators against unarmed civilians, women and children...even ordinary ESN that carry pump action rifles have given several of your security forces a bloody nose in several encounters and then they resort to terrorizing villagers when they lose several men (something they are good at). So your threat and noise about rolling out your army doesn't scare anybody.

While at it, why can't your invincible army confront the herdsmen who are wiping out human beings in Benue State and other parts of the North? Just yesterday over 23 people including 2 soldiers were killed in Benue by fulani bandits, yet your army haven't "rolled" into Benue! na for only SE dem dey get power?

Politics / Commanding Officer, Soldier, 15 Others Killed As Herders Storm Benue LG Again by Kwashiman: 8:01am On Apr 27, 2023
An officer, one soldier and 15 others have been killed by suspected armed Fulani herdsmen in a renewed attack on communities in Edikwu 2 Council Ward of Apa Local Government Area of Benue State.

It was gathered that communities under siege by the marauders include Odogbo and Opaha, the home of the lawmaker representing Apa State Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Mr Abu Umoro, and the state Commissioner of Finance, Mr David Olofu.

The attack is coming on the heels of the weekend’s attack on the Ankpali community in the same Edikwu Ward 2, where the Ward Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Nathaniel Ochoche and three others were murdered in an ambush by the herders.

It was gathered from an indigene of the area, who identified himself as Kole that the herders, who stormed the communities in what looked like a coordinated attack on Tuesday about 6 p.m., also inflicted severe injuries on some of the victims.

The source disclosed that Among the 17 corpses so far recovered this morning (yesterday) from the attacked communities were the remains of two military personnel and one of them was the Commander of the troops that went to confront the armed Fulani herdsmen when the attack was going on.”

Contacted, the Chairman of Apa Development Association, Mr Eche Akpoko, who confirmed the attack said that at the time he contacted the community, 10 bodies including those of two military personnel had already been recovered but that he was still waiting for an update from the besieged communities.

The State Commissioner of Finance, Mr Olofu, who hails from Opaha, also confirmed the attack stressing that the bodies of 15 villagers and two soldiers had been recovered.

The Commissioner said he was on his way to the village for first hand account of the development in the area.

Contacted, the Spokesman of the military joint operation in the state codenamed Operation Whirl Stroke, OPWS, Fl. Lt. DO Oquah, said he was out of town and could not speak on the matter.

The Sector Commander of OPWS in charge of Apa LGA, could also not be reached on phone.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent, SP, Catherine Anene, who confirmed the renewed attacks said she was yet to receive details of the development.

Suspected Fulani Hoodlums Attack Market In Enugu State, Loot Shops, Injure Benue Traders

Artisan market dominated by northerners selling goat and sheep is located at Naira Triangle by Enugu Okigwe road, adjacent to the NNPC Limited Mega filling station

Some suspected Fulani miscreants pretending to be tricycle riders in Enugu State, South East Nigeria have invaded Benue Yam sellers in Artisan Market, attacked them with daggers and stolen hundreds of tubers of yams.
Artisan market dominated by northerners selling goat and sheep is located at Naira Triangle by Enugu Okigwe road, adjacent to the NNPC Limited Mega filling station.
There have been reports of organised attacks on non-Hausa/Fulani trading in the market and nearby on a weekly basis. Late last year, some of the criminals who had taken over the market attacked and burnt a trailer truck and police patrol van.

However, SaharaReporters learnt that the latest attack took place on Sunday morning when Hausa/Fulani boys in their numbers invaded the yam section of the market which people from Benue State dominated and attacked them.

A video of one of the victims of the attack which SaharaReporters obtained on Tuesday showed a young man lying in hospital bed with machete cuts over his body. The video also shows that one of his fingers is severed.
The victim who was identified as John was heard narrating on the hospital bed how six Hausa/Fulani boys invaded their shops, attacked him with dagger knives, and thereafter looted their yams.

The victim who was identified as John was heard narrating on the hospital bed how six Hausa/Fulani boys invaded their shops, attacked him with dagger knives, and thereafter looted their yams.
He narrated, "After striking me with their dagger knives, I fainted. They didn’t run away, they stayed and were discussing in Hausa that since I was alone, they should kill me. I prayed to God to give me strength and save me. Then I was already bleeding profusely. I was bleeding from the finger they severed, head and all over the body. So I took off and ran. They pursued me and I hid.
"After about 15 minutes they went back inside the Artisan Market, mobilised other Fulani/Hausa boys again and returned to the place where we were selling yams. For more than 30 minutes they were there loading our yams in their 'Keke' tricycle. They ransacked my shop, collected money and parked every valuable thing that was there and left. My own yams they carried away are 210 tubers."
Lamenting how the Hausa/Fulani boys in the area had turned into terrorists, he said "you can imagine finding yourself in the midst of six people who have been using dagger knives for more than 20 years coming to kill you. I fought hard to survive otherwise I would have been a dead man by now."
"The most surprising thing is that they went back to the market, came back with other boys. They blocked the road, and chased people in the compound into their houses. You just saw them, you saw terrorists. If you saw the knives those boys held and I believe that even the second set of boys they brought had with them guns."
Reacting to the development, a resident of Enugu who identified herself as Ozioma Ejiofor and who took the said John to hospital called on the government of Enugu state to rise to how police and other security agencies especially the Department of State Services allowed the criminals to breed unchallenged.
Ozioma said, “If Hausa/Fulanis can have access to the Mega filling station in Enugu State capital that means there is more to them that the eyes have not even seen and for their guts there's more to come.”
“Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi should do something urgent to flush out these terrorists and ensure that the new Artisan Market shouldn’t be allowed to be used as terrorist cells.”
Efforts by SaharaReporters to speak with the Enugu state police command were not successful as the command’s spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, didn’t take his calls.

1 Killed, 8 Injured As Herders Attack Ondo Community.

A fifty-year-old farmer, Olaoluwa Olorunfemi, was on Sunday night killed in a fresh attack on Ago-Oyinbo at Ala Forest Reserve in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State after an invasion by people suspected to be herdsmen.

Also, eight other persons in the community were wounded in the violent attack.

Daily Trust gathered that the herders wreaked havoc on the people, who are mostly farmers, in the middle of the night without any challenge.

The spokesman for the community, Samuel Olowolafe, who spoke with reporters in Akure, the state capital, on Monday, said the heavily armed herders also looted the property of the victims.

He explained that the situation forced many residents to flee their homes for fear of being caught in another attack.

He added that the herdsmen resorted to sacking the community after their entreaty to be allowed into the community with their cattle to graze was turned down by the youth and elders of the area.

“They do perpetuate their devil act at midnight, cart away our foods, destroy our farm products and even machete people to the extent that they will land in the hospital.”

Olowolafe said it was the second time the herders launched an attack on the agrarian community.

He revealed that the assailants had earlier attacked the community in March, adding that many of the residents had lost loved ones and property worth millions.

Olowolafe asked Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to urgently come to the aid of the community over the fresh attacks on the residents.

“So, what happened to us at the weekend was that these Fulani herdsmen wanted to take over our farmland.

“We are calling on the state government and the security agencies to please come to our aid. Our life is in danger at Powerline and Ago-Oyinbo at Ala Forest Reserve,” he added.

Confirming the incident in a statement Monday night, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ondo state, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said Olorunfemi was killed by the armed men numbering about four.

Odunlami-Omisanya, in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, stated that the deceased was hacked to death with a cutlass.

She added that the police had already begun their investigation and launched a manhunt for the invaders.

She said the suspects also went away with the mobile phone of the deceased.

“So, the police and family members of the deceased have visited the scene of the incident and his corpse has been evacuated from the scene,” the PPRO added.
