Romance / Words From A Father To A Son About Marriage by kwenu: 10:06pm On Dec 11, 2014
WORDS FROM A FATHER TO A SON ABOUT MARRIAGE

1. My son, if you keep spending on a woman and she never asked you if you’re saving or investing, and she keeps enjoying the attention, don’t marry her.

2. My son, a woman could be a good wife to you, some could be a good mother to your children but if you’ve found a woman like a mother to you, your children and your family, please don’t let her go.

3. My son, don’t confine the position of your wife to the kitchen, where did you get that from? Even in our days, we had farm-lands where they worked every morning . . . that was our office.

4. My son, if I tell you that you’re the head of the house, don’t look at your pocket; look if you will see a smile on your wife’s face.

5. My son, if you want to have a long life, let your wife be in-charge of your salary, it will be difficult for her to spend it when she’s aware of the home needs and bills to pay but if it’s in your care, she will keep you asking even when all has been spent.

6. My son, don’t ever beat your woman, the pain in her body is nothing to be compared to the wound on her heart and that means you may be in trouble living with a wounded woman.

7. My son, now that you’re married, if you live a bachelor kind of life with your wife, you will soon be single again.

8. My son, in our days, we had many wives and many children because of our large farm-lands and many harvests, there are hardly any land for farming anymore, so embrace your woman closely.

9. My son, under the cocoa tree that I did meet your mother could be your eateries and restaurants of nowadays, but remember, the closet thing we did there was to embrace each other.

10. My son, don’t be carried away when you start making more money, instead of spending on those tiny legs that never knew how hard you worked to get it, spend it on that woman that stood by you all along.

11. My son, when I threw little stones or whistled at the window of your mother father’s house, to call her out, it was not for sex, it was because I missed her so much.

12. My son, remember, when you say your wife has changed, there could be something you’ve stopped doing too.

13. My son, your mother, Asake rode the bicycle with me before I bought that tortoise car outside there, any woman that won’t endure with you in your little beginning should not enjoy your riches.

14. My son, don’t compare your wife to any woman, there are ways she’s enduring you too and has she ever compared you to any man?

15. My son, there is this thing you people call feminism, well, if a woman claim to have equal right with you in the house, divide all the bills into two equal parts, take one part and ask her to start paying the other part.

16. My son, I met your mother a virgin and I took more yams to her father, if you don’t meet your wife a virgin, don’t blame her, what I didn’t tell you is that our women had prestige.

17. My son, I didn’t send your sisters to school because I was foolish like many to think a female child won’t extend my family name, please don’t make that mistake, the kind of female achievers I see nowadays has made the male-gender an ordinary tag.

18. My son, your mother have once locked up the cloth I was wearing and almost tore it because she was angry, I did not raise my hand to beat her because of a day like this, so that I can be proud to tell you that I never for once beat your mother.

19. My son, in our days, our women had more of natural beauty, though I wouldn’t lie to you, some had minor painting of their appellation mostly on their arms, the ones you people now call tattoo, but don’t forget that they didn’t expose any part of their body like your women of nowadays.

20. My son, your mother and I are not interested in what happens in your marriage, try to handle issues without always coming to us.

21. My son, remember I bought your mother’s first sewing machine for her, help your wife achieve her dreams just as you’re pursuing yours.

22. My son, don’t stop taking care of me and your mother, it’s a secret of growing old and having children to take care of you too.

23. My son, pray with your family, there is a tomorrow you don’t know, talk to God that knows everything, everyday.

Religion / Christianity The Upgraded Version Of Islam? by kwenu: 9:29pm On Dec 07, 2014
is christianity the upgraded version of islam?

Today christianity has a total population of the world at 33% , which is at 2.1billion

islam has about 21% which is 1.5 billion

there are evidences in the bible that shows that islam is an upgraded version of christianity(i stand to be corrected)
take for instance we like to think or say that isaac s brother, Abraham son was the begining or root of islam.

come down to laws, muslims will kill adultrers while christians will not but somewhere in the bible its stated i guess in one of the old testaments from Moses.
Jesus also comfirmed such, when a woman was caught in adultry and was to be stoned to death.

there are more instances but time will not permit me.

Please give your topughts and contributions

God bless you all

Romance / Re: Advice Please: My Neighbour's Wife Wants Me To Have An Affair With Her by kwenu: 4:04pm On Dec 07, 2014
in a case such as these wether u sleep with her or not, u are still in trouble.

That one is one example of a strange woman

Op i once had a dream of the night, it was damn so dreadful, and very scary in that dream i was staring at a woman urinating, i never knew she was married until her husband or a man showed up with a knife and wanted to kill me with it, i was so weak that i coldnt challenge the man,i had to beg this woman, i pleaded with her and she told the man to stop while about to stab me, i woke up from that dream and i cried, till today i do not fully understand its whole meaning as a young man we tend to face such challenges as these as we grow up but it takes the grace of God to scale through.

King solomon spoke about strange women in the scriptures, u ll never know the meaning of strange women fully, but here i warn you be very careful with them Married women. dont go ahead warning her or shuning her, but rather beg her or plead with her, to leave you alone.dont stop chatting with her, u can friendzone her then after that you will leave her alone. this is one wisdom i have found.
if you go ahead warning or threatening her u will regret it and people will hardly believe you. even if you are right. she will go ahead causing you much damage in the society, by spoiling your name. trust me women are good at this. i speak from experience

Joseph was right but yet nobody believed him,

Romance / Re: Nigerian Ladies Worry Over Scarcity Of Men by kwenu: 8:54pm On Dec 04, 2014
Ohh my GOD This story really made me laugh, and i get to wonder when women say theres no husband for them, this statement makes men feel very important. but to be honest i think ladies are to blame in these issue,
Sometimes u need to see the kinda hatred most women have for men who are not a husband matirial for them, it scares real and serious suitors for marriage.
when a man sees a woman, he loves her immidiately, if she asks for help the man will be willing to do something for her.my dear thats love(a fellow man wil hardly help his other fellow man) this is one grace thats given to women from the Almighty. (women easily get favour from men)

if u are a lady and u complain of no husband, then something must be wrong with you.

Please check your behaviour.if it were not behaviour then it should be your physique or money, or what.?i have seen tall beautiful ladies still single.

i listened to an interview between married woman and one of them,
and i discovered the tal beautiful lady at the age of 39 is still looking for a rich man to marry

behaviur is the secrete to finding a husband, (wether good or bad husband) husband na husband,

bad behaviur is irritating /smells to most men

this is my own honest advice

Exactly the same reason why you should do research yourself and not be spoon fed. You don't apply to mr a university because some group of people are doing so. Everybody is different and we all have our different career goals n research interests.

Hey guys , we make one mistake by not posting the cost of tution for the university we want to attend, u dont rely on interview scripts alone when trying to help others, we should also help post cost of tuition, school location, etc.but ur names u may not expose onhere and other personal details for safety/security reasons. u ll ask why?

Tell if two people aply to different universities on different locations, lets say mr A applied to the university of Texas and got admission and was granted visa at the embassy seeing the tuition is about $40,000 and texas happens to be a dangerous place for people/ visitors. natural disaster where visitors/people avoid. but mR A was granted visa

Now mr B applies to the University of Newyork where u have good weather , no or less natural disasters likely to occur in that area but with less tuition of about $7,000 , now the embassy here refuses to grant mr B visa

A and B did not apply to red flag schools and both have good documentation

i may not have used a good exaple here but i m saying to you guys to provide more evidence here so that we can make good /right judgement based on evidence provided so as to help others planing on going there to study.

its unfair to spend much moneyand some long process and at the end of the day they deny people visa

this kinda of topic , see i dont like when women talk like this to crucify poor men, its painful to the bone.this kinda women will run down a rich man, only a foolish man will keep these for wives.if those rich men they crave for today , were hanging out with gold diggers like them. they wouldnt have become rich today . does a mans life consist of the material things he posess?

Family / Re: Marriages Then Vs Marriages Now by kwenu: 10:57pm On Nov 27, 2014
off all comment on here, i am yet to see some deep reasoning from anyone on here, look marriages in the past survived because of the natures of the couples, you have women who want to be like thier mothers and u have men who want to be like thier fathers. by so doing they end up possessing a fatherly/motherly nature this is what keeps marriage, if not, then show me a true mother who will abandon his kids and choose not to live with his husband all for one reason, show me a man who will choose to leave his household just to become single and alone or with another woman, an african man would rather marry more women to find happiness than divorce his wife, he will end up taking the first wife as his mother, and the wife will end up seeing the man as his father.
Divorce isnt common in africa, most especially Nigeria.westernization, is one reason we divorce these days, especially because we re exposed to other lifestyle lived in other countries in the west most especially,

one other reason is education, i am not insinuating that its bad to be educated, but i think people forget or set aside the Natural gift God has given to them and embrace the external and so they end up coming up with toughts such as divorce.

show me a true father that will leave his wife and not think of her importance to the children
show me a mother that will leave his husband and not think of his importance to the children.

many couples / parent have lost touch partially with nature/ or thier true nature.

there are no perfect people anywhere.

Death has forgotten me says 179 Years Old Man

Mahashta Mûrasi is a 179 Indian man born in Bangalore in January 6th, 1835. He has lived in Vârânasî since 1903. He worked as a cobbler in the city until 1957, when he retired at the already venerable age of 122.

Mahashta Mûrasi who claimed all his grand-children have all died for years, explained that somehow death has forgotten him and that he has lost hope to die.

Mahashta Mûrasi who claims he may be immortal now says that death may not kill him again claiming that nobody dies after 150 years.

The man’s birth certificate and identity cards all seem to confirm his version, but unfortunately no medical examination can confirm his saying for now. The last doctor Mister Mûrasi visited died in 1971, so there is little information available about his previous medical files.

Would you like to live that long?

see ur brother is super brilliant thats why he got the admission into NDA but how about others who are not as good as he is. coupled with the current situation of this country where Godfatherism is one order of the day.
what ur brother had was a miracle, people are sruggling to enter the lower ranks of the military with difficulties and here u re expecting that they become like ur brother seeing they dont have distinctions.
how many of the posters here have 3 distinctions talkless of 6 or 8 and u want them to be like ur brother
