GEJ is not known to manipulate institutions of state. If he does there won't be this vibrant opposition APC as we have now. We can't continue to cast aspersion on vital institutions of state in the desperation for propaganda.

Nigerians are blinded by the opposition propaganda to reason wrongly.

When there's a crisis, the people support the govt but Nigerians oppose and ridicule the govt efforts thereby giving motivation to the terrorists. If not for the negative activities of the opposition party helped by gullible Nigerians, Boko Haram would've been a history. Simply called sabotage.

This behavior can be seen in many aspects of the nation's building.

On the issue of corruption and indeed all Nigerian problems, the best way to tackle it is by strengthening the institutions of democracy such as the judiciary, the press, the electoral system, et the civil society, etc, giving them the freedom to operate. This way corrupt officials will be reported by the free press, prosecuted by the free judiciary, and not voted in by the free and fair electoral system. That's the civilised way to fight corruption and the only successful way.
The system of jailing people indiscriminately is crude and wicked and can't stop corruption. Because it's ultimately abused. Buhari did it and some segments of the society cried favoritism, same with obj fight against his corrupt enemies leaving his friends to continue to loot the nation blind. So this system many Nigerians are wishing for under Buhari will fail. Other side effects is that successful businesses and businessmen will be jailed and their businesses closed thereby increasing the unemployment problems.

So let's open our eyes and minds to see that GEJ has the right policies to advance this nation. He's fighting corruption the right way which I've articulated above. By being open and free. We are free to see how much he spends on food, etc. This way corruption will die and development will flourish.

France is rallying around their government. Instead in Nigeria we are blaming GEJ and calling him clueless instead of rallying around him and condemning the Boko Haram.

Politics / Re: Buhari Not Qualified To Run For President – Fani Kayode by kyrbabe: 10:24pm On Jan 10, 2015
APC has never behaved as a civilised party. The supporters just hate GEJ without minding his good works. It's quite unfortunate that educated people will rally round a coupist to bring change. Can't happen in a sane society. Even youths are clamoring for a 72 year old former dictator that truncated democracy and brought us to military rule that set us backwards for 15 years.

We need to stick with GEJ and key into his transformation policies in diversifying the economy thru agriculture, commerce, entertainment, etc.

You believe they deceived us that 20, 000 humans have died because this government has failed the north east? that Nigerians are suffering and frustrated? that we have become an international joke? that the revered NA has now become a ragtag army running from boko haram? they lied to us that Jonathan hasn't built the Niger bridge? That he has turned brother against brother and that Nigerians now almost hate anyone thats not from their ethnic group?

Of course, all these things you wrote are pure propaganda. How did he turn brother against brother, or is he the one instigating hate? The NA was not equipped. Don't you hear from the soldiers, past administrations didn't equip it. GEJ is rebuilding the NA. The Niger bridge is under construction. Every single thing people are complaining about are under real works or near completion. If Buhari wins all these shall be abandoned, especially those in the south, check his records.

In civilised countries incumbents don't lose elections mainly because the people tend to support the govt in place to succeed. But here in Nigeria we heap blame and insult on our president simply because some people want power and they've succeeded in deceiving many of us to hate the president and vote for them to achieve their aim of grabbing power. They're all PDP people and they won't do any better than GEJ instead they'll take Nigerians far back.

The right thing is to support the govt and the govt head, GEJ to flush out the terrorists. By the way, I wonder why Nigerian media is not awash with vitriol and anger against boko haram from Nigerians including the opposition but instead the media is full of vitriolic statements against GEJ that's fighting this evil.

GEJ till 2019. Let's move forward instead of backward.

Some Nigerians are behaving like they are under an influence. I wonder how enlightened people would ever see a coupist general as a "positive" change agent with the horrible records he has. Many people are seeing the transformation going on in Nigeria. We should not be go back but forward with GEJ.
Politics / Re: Buhari Can't Remember His Phone Number - Jonathan by kyrbabe: 7:16am On Jan 10, 2015
Methink GEJ tactics on fighting dirty is a masterstroke at this stage. His opposition, APC had fought dirty on the social media and had heaped hatred against GEJ. Now APC wants issues based campaign since they'd made a head start in causing not a few Nigerians to hate GEJ.
If GEJ keeps on hitting Buhari like this and increases the attack Buhari can't survive to February 14. That's the way to go now.
GEJ achievements are plenty but needless to say them since APC will twist them.

Fire on our president, the non-gullible youths in sw and across the country are behind u.

GEJ till 2019. Buhari go and retire cos you're just too old for a young country like Nigeria. APC bring a younger one and a real progressive next time in 2019.

Sunday8650:

He pointed some hard truth which you didn't refute. Why didn't he tell us what he will do for security, power, unemployment, e.t.c if he is elected. Or is this not the major issue on ground in Nigeria not worth addressing.

But the president actually said what he'll, he's already doing on power unemployment and security. He said that he's carried out the best, internationally acclaimed privatization and soon there will stable power.

He said that he's established employment mechanisms in conjunction with the private sector and that jobs are being created.

He said that he met the military unequipped and he is now reshaping the Nigerian military to be better able to fight the insurgency.

I don't like when politicians try to use obfuscation, denial of facts, lies just to convince and retain their supporters in the face of a better performance by their opposition. This is such a case.
