Gosh, Nigerians and wilful breaking of rules. Then said rules get tightened and Nigerians get an even worse name...

See my friend keep quiet if you don't know what you are saying, if you have it easy in life most people don't.

The Chinese, Koreans and Co. get loans from their government to come and study. In this UK financial crisis how do you want to cope if you are handling your accommodation, transport and other fees if you are doing just 20 hours, especially if you are staying in London or Manchester.

We as Nigerians, we are hardworking and if the job is there we will do it and make our money to survive.

The funny thing is that most employers are not even happy with this 20 hours rule, because they are looking for workers but they are limited because of this 20 hours rule.

I met a British man one time that was complaining about how most of their citizens don't want to come out to work anymore, they'd rather work from home instead. He said in his city, shops and the mall closes by 4pm because they don't have people to employ for evening shifts and what he appreciate about Nigerians is that they are always willing to work.

To my ancestors in the house,

Please I need your advice l, I know as a student working more than 20 hours is not allowed except during break. I am hustling and i need money, if I work more than 20 hours for some few weeks will I get into any trouble?

Also will I have problems getting my post work graduate visa later on?

Someone told me, in so far as I don't do more than 80 hours a month there is no problem. Is this true?

Please I need you guys experienced wisdom.

Guide me on the way🙏

The truth is in most cases it doesn't matter in so far as you don't do it too much, most people here know this but they are scared to tell you the truth.

I can tell you for a fact, that during my masters I worked more than 20 hours a couple of times and still got my post work visa.

The major thing is don't do it too much, don't fail any of your courses, in fact don't do anything that will make them want to investigate your case.

Remember always use your head!!
