Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by LaddyB1(f): 1:57am On Sep 04, 2019
Big Congrats to all who have gotten their PPR or passed one milestone or the other. Please I have a question, for someone who got a cancelled application because of police clearance what should I do?

Actually, what happened is that I got my Nigerian police clearance roughly about 3 months before leaving Nigeria and just got a message that my application was cancelled because of that. Now my question to the gurus here is so I start afresh (honestly I would much rather not, if there is a way around it) or do I source for a police officers number and get the fresh cert from Nigeria and send to cic. If I do this what are the chances that they will reopen my application. I have already lost 5 points now as I have just added age, so that brings my crs point down to 454. Please advice me accordingly and if it’s to get the police clearance from Nigeria does anyone have the officers number that was shared here on Naira land, for a known police officer that does this for applicants here. Thanks for your anticipated quick responses as am sitting on edge right now.

Hi all, am new on this thread. I have a really urgent question. I have an Australian student (based on scholarship) visa but am working on the PR pathway.
Please
Could you kindly tell me if you had a stop over in Malaysia,? I booked a turkish airline flight to Australia, and the flight is passing through Malaysia, then turkish airline is using Malindo airline as the connection flight to Perth. Please I want to know if we will be needing a Malaysia visa during the 1 hour 50 minutes transit time? Did you get a Malaysia visa? Or was it required from you ?
Please quickly come. To a sister aid I'd you've used turkish airline recently.

Thanks

My one cent, just use a straight airline. Connecting airline via Malaysia is trouble. I had some experience last year and had to book another Airline at Malaysia in addition claiming luggage was also difficult. And just this a.m, I got a mail from my mate who visited NG, Turkish airline won't let him board cos they don't seem to understand how he will claim his luggage. #wasteofmoney.
I recommend that you just squeeze out the cash and board one airline instead of connecting.

Actually the flight is a single flight originating from Nigeria, and the airline is Turkish airline all the way but they are changing our flight to Malindo air in Malaysia.

I just want to know if we will be needing Malaysia visa as suggested by someone. So please does anyone know for sure if we will be needing Malaysia visa?

finally touched down Melbourne on 24th September 2017, a very long trip it was. My POE experience was a little long but it all went well at the end. All glory to God. My advise for those coming to Australia any soon, kindly visit the airport to meet directly with airlines to see if the could fix a flight with less layovers, long layovers could be very tiring trust me am a living testimony. I had to spend 20hrs in Istanbul alone and the only airport within the airport is way too expensive. Also food served weren't that cool for me sha *my opinion*, i heard south African airlines are good but the point is visit the airport or call the airlines sha. If i remember any other thing, would gladly share for now na sleep sure pass.

dpnt mind the errors.#shoye

My10kobo.

Hi, I bless God for the safe trip. Please which airline did you use?

Hi am new on this thread, but just felt I should share my testimony of visa grant.. Just saw the mail, about 30 mins ago, am highly elated. Keep up the good work everyone, keep sharing, asking questions, answering etc.
Please if you're in Perth, hala.

P'S. Online visa lodgement only requires your original documents to be uploaded, but if you are sending by post to Pretoria then you will have to send them your notarised copies NOT original. At least that was how Hubby and I did ours.
