I wonder where you got this ridiculous notion from... Igbo do not have any similarities with ijaws that would make an alliance successful.
In the first place, anyone that is close to both ethnic groups knows that, both are very stubborn and independent and like the saying goes "there cannot be two captains in a ship". There is no common linguistic or cultural ground that would inspire such alliance....
