Looks like for this administration, everything done or not done should mandatorily be compared to Jonathan's government. There have been other governments before his, including the first run of this particular government in the 80's; all of which were a collective failure but somehow the conversation only begins & ends with Jonathan's government. As terrible as they say his government was,he is somehow still their yardstick to measure their own success...i wonder what that makes them.
Again,if there was anything,ANYTHING AT ALL to brag about in terms of achievements, there would be no need to spend time unearthing pictures to compare & contrast airports to compel people to acknowledge work was done.Very small-minded bunch.

Looks unseen and not clear to me, not really seeing what could have gone wrong. This is the annual OTC in Houston every may, right? YES You guys didn't discuss travel history? Are you sure of a proper synchrony between your replies and the form filled? YES Is this your first time with them? YES Any relationship with Canada? NO Is your company credible, especially with past experiences with the embassy? YES (it is partnership-owned company and both partners attend religiously every year but have only ever carried a staff once some years ago. That staff is now married to a US resident but he still resides in Nigeria by choice;been married for 3 years but never relocated though i believe his papers are in order) I don't think single parenthood worked against you either. Dunno!

But I believe the inner workings of the process has something on you and your application....

What about getting registered and invited to the event? If the agent got that as well, there is every possibility that he may have packaged some other persons for the same event.

Please stay away from agents henceforth.

The bolded is very well noted.

As for the registration,i did that myself and had my invitation letter with me but was never asked any details about the conference during the interview.

You may have done nothing wrong.
A VO has the discretion to grant or deny you a visa.
We can only assume as to why you were denied.
By the way, did you use a agent?

Yes,an agent processed my application and got me my date way before i stumbled on this thread and got to know better. But even at that,I ensured there was no lie and also said nothing to the contrary during the interview.

Family / Re: My Wife Is Not What I Thought Before We Got Married: I Want To Divorce by Lamique(f): 1:20am On Jan 04, 2017
Billyonaire:
Finally, someone recognizes who I am. But let me ask you. This is an illustration, dont take it personal. If you grew up without a Dad and you ask your mum while your Dad divorce and left you guys. And her response is that your Dad divorce her because she is illiterate, how will you feel ? Then compare to knowing that your Dad comes home every weekend but has a girlfriend. Listen, this is the core reason many men womanize. It is not actually because their wives can not write, it is because most wives have failed the calibration that their husbands expected. That is why they find in other women, what their wives lack. This is why prostitution is the most lucrative untaxed industry in the world.

Thanks for calling a Devil once again.

To the eyes of a child, each scenario is just as hurtful as the other. You are talking comparative, but then in that context, one has to experience both to decipher which hurt less...an exercise impossible in this case.

You knew she was a third Class graduate and went ahead to marry her, what did you expect? Now you are complaining about her grammar.
Your wife is unintelligent and she doesn't want to stress herself in school, why push her when you know her capabilities.

You say she takes in every time even though you want only 3kids. Are you not the one producing the sperm? I am not understanding.
you guys should go to your doctor and choose a family planning method that will suit you or you might end up with 10kids.

About her clothing issues, why not buy her new set of clothes like bum shorts, sexy gowns and lingeries. Married women most times forget that men are moved by what they see cos they are now married and the think the don't need to impress anyone anymore. There is no crime in buying her clothes you want her to wear.

Why not teach her how to speak good English since she does not want to enroll in school?

Open a small scale business for her and if she refuse to do or mismanage it, then don't give her money for upkeep anymore.

Save your marriage, don't divorce her, divorce will affect your kids I tell you.

Very sound advice. In addition to the quoted, OP you should consider having yourself neutered. You already have all the kids you could ever want right? I say this because if the 9month haul is a tool for her,she could opt in & out of any family planning method on a whim.

As for her dressing, does your wife have sisters? Talk to them...sisters can get across to her about that better than you ever could...just provide the clothes. That's not to say you should totally go against her own preference...especially in terms of extent of coverage. Some people simply aren't comfortable in 'too revealing' outfits so meet her halfway.

About the business,is there any marketable skill, she is interested in learning? Maybe you should give that a try in addition to the small scale business. There has to be something she has a passion for...find it.

In all of this,I guess what we are saying is,your concerns are still a long way from having divorce as an option...at least for your kids' sake. And yes, manner of approach matters a lot.[color=#770077]
