Hi @Ayomide98,

I taught you said there is any email address you sent your complaint to.

Thank you.

Hello @Jboyossai,

Please, I am in similar situation. Pending Preapproval.

What email did you send your complaint to please?

Thank you.

Jboyossai:

UPDATE:
This is an update in case of anyone facing similar issue. Mine reflected this morning and it's now in the pre-approval stage. It took them over two weeks to process.
Things I did which I don't know if helped was creating a ticket with my complain and attaching my payment receipt and also sending them an email with my complaints and receipts.

Thanks for your prompt response. Please, I have followed your recommendations but I am still stuck with the "Pending Preapproval Request " screen.

Please, what else I can possibly do ?

Dear OyoTunjiUSA and Great Minds,

Firstly, thank you all for your valuable support and insights on this platform 🙏

Please, I need your advice. My brother paid the MRV post migration on the AVIT through FBK for F1 visa. And later attempted to book an appointment but his profile is stuck on "Pending Preapproval Request " for several weeks.

He has raised tickets and spoke to the Customer Services of AVIT but the issue is unresolved.

Please, what else should he do or can he do?

Much appreciated 🙏

Yes I received a pick-up mail from TLS.

I am just far away now and wanted to know if I could still pay for the option of DHL after decision is made.

Thank you.

hunee:

Did you get a mail on decision.
If yes, other feedbacks must have come with it as regards getting your travel document.

You have the option of visiting VAC if you get an update.

That's I didn't pay for that service initially. I can't travel to the VAC.

In addition, for the part where they mentioned that there is little evidence to demonstrate that your company is running at a profit and is financial stable, you would need to provide Tax clearance certificate of your company. That will give some insights about the financial status of the company when you re-apply... Good luck

DeConsultant,

You are so good at this. Simple and straightforward explanation. It is very clear.

I really appreciate this.

Thank you so much Sir/Madam. God bless you.

DeConsultant:

Its alright Sir, We are all learning everyday & a student of the legal system. This is my take, firstly a Business Name and a Limited by Shares Company are two different class of company registry.

A business name is a form of registration use by individuals and partners who want to carry on businesses other than the use of their own names. For example, a Igbo man in Alaba who is into spare parts and he want something corporate and he goes ahead to register CHIBEST AUTO-PART VENTURES. That is a business name.

While a Limited Company by Shares embodies different nature of businesses all in one entity. I will say it is a bigger version of a Business Name , that means the Igbo man can go into spare parts, logistics, road transportation, mining, import and export etc all these in one limited company. That is one of the difference in their nature.

Therefore, if you have a Limited Company, you do not need a business name to be registered on each of the business objectives on the Memorandum section of the Limited Company, that will amount to wastage Sir. Unless, you need something separate and a small business to run alongside the registered Limited Company i do not think you need a business name on each of the business objectives in the Limited Company.

Another twist to this is that, if you so wish to get a GROUP or Holding, then you can registered two more Limited by Shares Companies, then if there are three (3) existing registered companies, that share at least 2 same directors within the three registered companies. Then you can get a GROUP if you so wish.

Finally, if you are not thinking of running a group or a separate small business aside from the existing Limited Company, then you just keep running the registered company without fear. Thanks.

You are right Deconsultant! I was meant to type by 'Shares'. My apologies.

I will be happy if you could advise based on shares. Do I need to register a business name for each business object before I can operate them under LTD by shares?

Thank you so much for your help.

I can’t be too right Mr Lantrenzo, according to Part A, Part 1 (Section 26, Subsection 1-10) of CAMA 2004, it categorically state the purpose and nature of a Limited by Guarantee. See the attachments below. Thanks.

I don't think your assertion is right. The article and MOU clearly state the business allowed. This is contained in the business objects.

Thanks anyway.

DeConsultant:

Categorically, a Limited by Guarantee is not for business purposes, its usually in pursuant of a charitable, sport, health, social, academic and professional field. It does not involves shares and it is cannot be registered for business or profit maximization. I guess there is a mix-up somewhere. Thanks.

Dear Deconsultant,

Please I need your kind advice. I recently registered a LTD by guarantee and included 4 business objects. Namely: pharmacy, travel agency etc.

I will like to know if I still need to register a business name for each of the business objects before operation. Since I am low on budget,I would like to know if it is legal to operate each of the business objects as a subsidiary of the LTD without having to register a business name for each.

Thanks alot for your help.

Thanks alot for sharing your experience @Femijck. There's no email yet. Please note that the Pretoria VAC is still operational.

I will just wait for their email. Thanks once again for your time.

femijck:
People who have applied online should contribute please. When I did mine,it was a paper application so I sent everything to Pretoria including my passport via FedEx express and also UPS at some point.... If your passport was not requested for in the email, I don’t think you have to. when ur application is approved, and they need to see ur pp, it might show “approved in principle” and then they will request for the real pp and any other documents before issuing d visa.
I haven’t done any online application before as I prefer to send all hard copy of my documents. And I’m wondering, if the Pretoria office is still open. According to the local news I read, I thought it’s been closed.

Dear @Ola80,

Please,I just want to ask: did your cousin send his or her passport to South Africa VAC after the online application and paying the visa fees?

Thank you boss!

ola80:
Dear All,
My cousin recently applied for New Zealand visitor Visa online. In fact he has submitted his application since october 9, 2018 hoping to get results witihin the stipulated 25 days maximum. But till now, no decision has been made. He submitted with all supporting documents online and paid the visa fees through his gtb atm card. He had to send them a query message last week and was replied after three days as follows:

Dear xxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting us.

Your Visitor Visa application was allocated to Case Officer on 25th October and is still under process. You may opt to include a cover letter requesting your visa application to be done on priority manner and attach supporting documents in relation to your request. However, I cannot offer any guarantees as these types of request are reviewed by the processing branch based on its merits.

I hope this has been helpful.

Till now, he has not received any further update and he needs to attend a conference on Dec. 2 in Auckland. He has already paid for the conference.

Please advise on what to do.
