Career / Re: Tell Us About Your Experience As A Contract Staff Member (Outsourcing) by laoak2: 1:38pm On Feb 23, 2015
ladies and gents,

this is an interesting topic, it is affecting more than 50% of the presently employed people in Nigeria, in Banks, oil companies, etc. This contract staff works their ass out, they give above 100%. They deliver and cross the limit all the time. In the hope that, they will be one day converted and become staff of the company, which will never happen, if it happen, it is a miracle not a regular occurence. Little did they know that reward for hard work is more work. Contrary to what we know , persive, believe there is a labour law that covers for contractor staff , the executive of NLC and labour unions knows about this, in the labour law, there is a maximum number of months that you are suppose to work as a contractor, the company is under obligation to staff you and pay you all your entittlements in arrears or be sent away. unfortunatly, NLC is too corrupt to care, nigerian government is too busy with what they know how to do best.

When the company is doing well, contractor staff have no reward but the staff, but when there is a down turn in the company, contractor staff are the one to suffer for it, your target is increased, you are threatened with sacks and all the negatives.

When will things ever get better for contract staff? when will there be an NLC or TUC that will not compromise? when will a caring government ever come in? that will say to all this companies enough is enough?

We are talking about millions of companies in nigerian, who have capitalised on nigeria govenment inadequacies and neglegence to rob their employees, such do not happen in advance countries. it is so sad, we are talking about big companies, we are talking about nationally and internationally recognise organisation . Institutions rolling in profits in thousands, in millions and in billions. I want a government that can identify our plight first of all, understand it and able to solve it. thank you.

Celebrities / Re: Warri Billionaire Rewards Nigeria's BBA Hotshot Tayo With $350,000 by laoak2: 12:49pm On Dec 09, 2014
Nigeria is a great country, a country that has been blessed with special beings in different locations doing great and wonderful things, i watched big brother 24/7, i saw only one real hotshot and lot of supporters like esther ( small pepe) , maam bea, trezagar, lilian, assisting him to achieve his aim in the house. i was shocked to see idris win, how did he do that? how did he achieve it, is it by touching all those ladies, or the stupid things he did in the house. I felt so sad for Tayo, but the guy continued his game, his game is real and he is real. I wished i was rich enough to give him something that sunday, but i could not. Since sunday, i have been so disturbed in my spirit, i was never settled or at peace. Ayiri, you just made my day, God bless you, i dont know what you do and how you raise your money, but God in heaven has a way of seeing things differently. God has used you to achieve his aim as regards Tayo. HE ( God) will surely bless you in return in Multiple folds. Tayo, my brother, my country boi, africa son. i remember one of his songs in the house by beautiful nubia " over sea , over land, over mountains in the wild, i will be brave and i will be strong , AM AN AFRICAN BOY". CONGRATULATIONS

Politics / Can Government Take An Entire Village Excession And Give To A Private COMPANY? by laoak2: 8:02am On Oct 14, 2013
You work hard and hustle hard , you make some money, you want to secure your future and that of your kids, you invest in property ( Land and houses). You checked with Ministry of Land, your land is ok, you bought from the right omo onile. Suddenly, a company ( A private Company) appear with an MOU from Govt, showing the Entire Village has been given to them. Without any agreement with the Villager, without any form of relocation. Is it right? rumour has it that the Owner of the company is one TOP ex -Governor. If you find yourself in this situation, what can you do?
Islam for Muslims / Re: Lagos State Confiscates Sallah Rams by laoak2: 9:31am On Oct 08, 2013
This Lagos state sha want to turn to Lagos to Mega City, by creating lot more poverty. when it comes to such laws, eject all okadas, within 24hrs, it will take effect, clear a popular market, it is done quickly.

They fail to realise that we the poeple too have expectations from them that they have failed to fulfill. We expect good roads, security, power, etc they have done none. Very soon, we will ask too. I can categorically say at the point that this Govtment is anti-people, though they always justtify with they do what they do. I wonder how you will raid ram market, steal all the ram, use it for sallah. Allah is watching you guys on 12D.

woman, most of the time, they will not mention what they have done wrong? a man will avoid a woman who nags, abuse and insult, rather than engage in cross talk or cross fight, he simply avoid you. He will continue to do that, until you have proven to him that you have changed. If you change your way, he will naturally come back to you. For a man to get to that point, you must have done some very painful and foundamental error which he may still be finding hard to deal with.

Politics / Re: Why Must Buhari Be The President For Nigeria To Be Good? by laoak2: 9:28am On Nov 29, 2011
Nigerians deserves the type of leaders we get, we act as if we know it all. We choose our leaders based on wrong reasons, why did we vote Jonathan in? who seems not to have any record of achiving anything ever in life, no record whatsoever, yet nigerians voted for him ( luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). The political structure in nigeria politics does not allow anyone to get to any position without going thru the Cabal, if you go thru the cabal, you must have lost your COINSCIENCE. Therefore, if we must have a credible leader , he must not be any part of the cabal. Buhari is the only one at the moment who can create the platform for the CABAL to die, the CABAL have already seen this coming, therefore, they have engaged different Mechanism to start the underground war, like the guy who initiated this thread, from his tone, i already know, like Beaf and the rest of them here, we know you. Like the other guys in this thread said, if God contest an election with the Devil, naija will still vote for the devil and cry to God later, what a country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spineless people, we can not even see the truth, we are so blind to important things, yet we are "OJUYOBO" to flimsy issues, instead of us to start praying for BUHARI to live long enough to achieve this dream and librate the people, we are here condeming the old man. Imagine the kind of country we will have if people like BEAF becomes the president, people like rueben abati.
Education / Re: PDP Gov'Ship Candidate Dosunmu Tackles Fashola Over LASU fees by laoak2: 1:35pm On Nov 21, 2011
I voted for Fashola during his first election, but i did not vote for  him  during the second time,  i already saw the signs that he will mess up like Gbenga daniel during his second term in office, it is unfortunate that we are being treated this way, some people are here to represent the government and people in gorvenment, they are tyring to distract us from the topic, the issue on ground   is why should the LASU tuition be increased in the face of all the poverty? It will soon dawn on us that Fashola is not our friend, i am not talking about any party, i am neutral. He claimed to give us PSP, taxi, BRT, tollgate, if you check all this facilities, he created it for his own people and his own frieneds. we are paying heavily for all the things we are suppose to enjoy. They have sold us out ( himself and Tinubu) enriching their own purse alone, not minding the masses.

All the project he has done will not be maintained after him, most of flowers are now bushy, all the dwarf fence around the flowers are now death trap, no tangible project like Airports, university, water project, power project etc

Basic necessity of life that he promised during the election, water zero, electricity zero, security zero , eduction zero, so what he is doing for us.

On the large scale, this govt and set of people have failed us, God will not forgive them
Politics / Re: Jonathan Proves To Be The Worst Leader! by laoak2: 11:34am On Nov 09, 2011
it is now clear too , that we have different types of people here

1. People who just share their view honestly
2. people who are being paid to counter any comment against GEJ
3. People who support Buhari 100% and wait for every opportunity to show it
4. people who feels if they support the people who have been paid to defend GEJ, they may eventually get some tips or bonus.
5. People who follow the GEJ people blindly
6. People like me, who could decern the truth

Whatever category you are, pls think about this things

1. Your brother/sister get killed by trying to serve his nation as a Corper ( NYSC)
2. Your family  or you , get bombed right there in your office as you are reading this, gboooooaaaaaa
3. You lost a loved one or your own life in nigerian hospital due to the poor state of the hosp and poor funding
4. You lost your job because your office can no longer sustain the number of staff because they will be paying more on fuel, the subsidy is being removed
5. You can not get a job or change job becos there are no jobs
6. You have good business idea but you need constant power supply to run , you can afford a Generator and diesel.
etc

while you think about these, also remember that God had deposited natural resources in the country for the purpose of ALL. As it is , we elected a very few to manage it, can we say they have really represented us well in the management of what God has blessed us with?  in what way can you say, the government has been helpful to you as a citizen?

For those that have been paid to defend GEJ, pls dont reply to my write-up,  except if you are ready to give me your full details, your pics, your address and what you do to proof to the whole world you have not been paid to do this silly job. Eg Beaf and Point B
Politics / Re: Youths To Go On Hunger Strike Over Fuel Subsidy Removal by laoak2: 10:13am On Oct 21, 2011
Youth leader and youth representative my foot!!!!!!!!!!which stupid youth leader is that, who appointed him as the youth leader? when the right times comes, the action will dictate itself, we dont even need any thief to come up that he is representing us, he should be very careful. he can come up as an individual to say watever he likes, GEJ will still give him money, they will pay him off.

we dont need anyone to tell us wat to do, he is one of the thieves, he is fighting for his own pocket  like all the Fani kayode's and  labaran maku. they will come out, make noise that they are fighting for the youth, meanwhile, they get good offers from govt and turn against the masses.

Most of our leaders deserve worse than Gadaffi, they should just wait and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a similar experience few weeks back, a guys helped me out because the files were really important to me and my biz.

But the first responce is the only way, but you have to be slightly technically inclined to be able to do it yourself.

Buy external hard drive casing ( SATA or IDE) depending on your hard drivve type, put in the hard drive, try connect it to another machine, if it work, u are lucky, if it does not work, get a free online recovery software( easy data recovery) install it on another machine and connect the hard drive, it will be resolved.

For the dandruff guy, it is a good question but in the wrong thread, it is completely off the discussion, i will also recommend that you buy Norton anti-dandruff
Celebrities / Re: Olusegun Obasanjo To Honour Baba Sala by laoak2: 7:33am On Sep 14, 2011
For the first time, Baba iyabo is doing something right, honestly, i am more than happy to hear this news, this man deserves this. Atleast he will eat from the fruit of his labour in hisown life time, not after his death. We should honour our own in their lifetime.

I wish i could contribute too, I just pray that God should grant him more years and good health. I am so close to tears right now, the man has seen a tough time!!!!!!

Crime / Re: Nigerian Chatting With A Woman At A Bus Stop Is Shot Dead by laoak2: 8:33am On Aug 11, 2011
May his soul rest in peace, this is a wakeup call for all of us, we need to train up our children, this will not be his first time out at such hour, if you know SE london and how the young people live their life, you will prefer to train your child in naija, the young people there are so corrupt. Parents are hustlers too, they have no or little time for the children, children grow up on the street, they are wicked, deadly and crazy, they may look cool and all that but they are too dangerous, they have knives, guns, etc. Trust me, it is easier to train your child in Ajegunle than SE london.

Summarily, Parent wherever you may be, pls do not forget our values, our youruba train your child well, know your children whereabout, know their friends, know that character. Call for help if you need to on time, send your children back home to your family when you notice some strange traits in them, it is band-wagon effect, change their enviroment.
TV/Movies / Re: Karen's Victory Shows Resilience Of Nigerian Youths - Minister by laoak2: 9:12am On Aug 05, 2011
you may like the show, you may not like the show, it simply dipict how we live our daily life, how we interract with one another, hyprocrazy is the order of the day, not only in naija but every part of the world. It ok for the minister to congratulate Karen, for God sake he is in charge of youth and anything that has to do with youth, Karen has dedicated her energy toward being real to herself and the whole world. many in the house pretended to the last day. Is it not better to do this, live in a house, feed for free, club for free, drink for free and the end win 200,000 dollar than to throw bomb?

We dont have to condem everything? it is not a matter of being a christian or a muslim, that is howwe interact with one another, at home, office and even worship centers.
Religion / Re: Guess Who This Armed Dude Was Protecting. Pic by laoak2: 8:27am On Jul 26, 2011
Sometime, i wonder if some people here are normal, they make issue out of nothing, you that is complaining about a man of God using protection, dont you protect yourself? see your house door, you have security all over your car, even at your level!!!!!!

You are protecting ordinary Honda Halllaaaa, you are a messager in your office, no one is interested in you, you lock your house door with burglary proof, who is interested in your dead TV or your fake china raido?

Wisdom is the principal thing, you dont expect a man of God that big to allow one stupid, nonentity Boko Idoit to waste his life.
Politics / Re: Diezani Allison Madueke Skipped Nysc by laoak2: 9:41am On Jun 27, 2011
I guess some people are being paid to do dirty job on naira land, she might have done something bad by not observing the compulsory NYSC , looking at it from the light of today,  she might have been killed or got involved in a bomb blast, i feel , she has done more worthy work than the stupid NYSC. Even Salisu Buhari did not go to jail for fake result.
Family / Re: Wigwe (Beaten Ambassador's Wife): The Other Side Of The Story by laoak2: 9:29am On Jun 01, 2011
It is so sad that in this part of the world, nobody care about the man, they give maximum support to women, bible says, "women,  do not provoke your husband" . Also, no matter howbad your marriage is, your family and her family will keep telling you to be patient, forever, divorce is an abormination. This is why we see cases like this, but pls give the men some audience.

Politics / Re: "We Are Not Slaves" -Coca-Cola Pay Nigerian Day-Workers $2.60 Per Day? by laoak2: 10:33am On May 18, 2011
It is such a pity, that goverment has placed no value on the citizens. With what God has blessed us with, we are entittle to have unemplyment agency, that takes care of the unemployed, we make so much money everyday and they (few set of people) spend this money everyday on themselves alone.
In a country where you have about 50k as unemployment benefit monthly, no company or organisation will pay his worker less. 80% of nigerian work force are in this category of under payment, NLC and trade union are only fighting for their own wallet, they make noise only when government is about to change of an important occasion in nigeria.

Some people here are suggesting, this guys should look for another work, it is very wrong, where will they find another work? is the company not making profit? they are !!!!!  but they want to maximum cost at the expense of the workers, many of them die of stress and pressure.

Nigerian citizen life does worth more than this, we are all suppose to stand up and fight injustice in work places, Airtel treat his staff like slave in their own country, coca-cola and many oil companies, yet we have a body call  NLC Nigeria labour congress, the reason why they will not stand up for this guys is very simple and known, they dont contrubute to the NLC purse. NLC is a disaster, they are corrupt and they should be abolished, they have lost thier value and priority. They are to fight for the powerless. they are only fighting for the pocket and to become governors, what a country , nigeria!!!!!!!!!!!!!

obviously, there are some stupid idiots on this site, it is not a must that you should talk, it is wrong to abuse an innocent person seeking for ways to solve her problem. I am sure most of u have the same problem, if only we could check , idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Meanwhile, i think brushing regularly will solve this problem, two to three times daily , and the tongue too should be considered, listerine and toher mouth wash might be too strong for a 2yrs old but salt and warm water could help. You are a good parent for not hidding your problem till it becomes unsolveable like some idiots making stupid comment here.

Politics / Re: Let's Give GEJ A Chance by laoak2: 8:24am On Feb 07, 2011
It could be very dissappointing when you hear what you dont expect from certain people, educated, elites, etc.

Who is a good leader? someone that knows the needs of his people, create avenue to solve it, he may not get it fully resolved, but it should be seen clearly by his people that he is doing something.

I use to think our problem is corruption but it is not, our problem is that " WE take it, we take shit", because some stupid people always justify why we should take the shit.

Muritala rulled for just six months and history will never forget him, Gowon rulled too,

How long does GEJ need to rule for before we realise that he has nothing to offer, he does not have solution to any of our problem, Electricity, water, education, security, crisis, corruption, unemplyoment, etc even fuel ( we should not be decieved by what we see now, the problem is still there)

pls lets reason together, we need to change this country for our children, it might be too late for some of us.

We know those that are ruining this country, eating our money and making us to pay for it, enriching their own wallet with our collective resources, God gave it to all of us, by bringing GEJ back, we are helping them, by vote Buhari and Tunde, we will reduce the number. Lets give it a try, we have nothing to lose.

By virtue of the fact that we are citizens, we are entittle to certain benefit, but does it ever get to us, no medical , no road, no education, etc no my people this guys are thieves, they should be purnished
