His grievances were:
Secretly building a personal house in the village
Rejecting idea of mom-in-law living with them
Requesting him to vacate and move out from house he allegedly bought
Phoning and calling police on him.
No more ready to share pay check with him

No, there was no third party sexually involved. This is a crime of diminished responsibility. This is obvious from how deranged and gibberish the man was behaving in the background with the operator on
Not supporting what he did but you won’t understand what he passed through until you re there. Not until you visit these North American countries before you can comment properly

Anyway, the case is just a mere ploy to distract the governor. I will urge Governor Hope Uzodinma not to be distracted. He should continue the good work that he’s doing especially in the area of exposing the frauds perpetuated by the previous administrations.

Nigerian Government needs to proscribe and place an everlasting ban on public processions that disrupt movements, trade, and services.

The list shouldn't stop at Shittes. It is stupidity to ban Shitte processions and allow Oro cultists invade Ikorodu and other towns in Nigeria. No senseless Oba or Chief has the right to restrict movements of anybody, indigene or not, male or female.

When you proscribe Shittes movements and allow Oro people to restrict movements, then you're just being stup!d and senseless as a nation.
How about blocking the road for prayers every fridays by the sunni muslim? Should that be allowed to continue

Politics / Re: RUGA: Association Of Pig Farmers Writes Buhari, Demand “pig Colony” by LasLas: 10:22am On Jul 08, 2019
AbuuBilaal:
Firstly, comparing pigs to cows is an erroneous comparison. Cows are eating by virtually everybody in the country. I do not know any tribe that doesn't eat beef. Rather, all other meat sources only supplement beef.

Secondly, it's a simple issue. Fulanis should take their cattle to the north and let's see who will lose more. Youruba man that can't even manage a dozen goats, how will he get meat for his wedding, naming and other ceremonies.

Thirdly, cattle is reared and grazed but pigs are confined. Until pigs are reared like cattle, there's no need for a 'puga' scheme.

Fourthly, ruga created to solve a societal nuisance. Meaning that it was born out of necessity. Farmers and cattle owners are struggling for scare resources - green pasture and land - but this isn't the case with piggery.

In summary, we should all try to be objective and realistic. A good and peaceful Nigeria will benefit us all. Let's not join hands with trouble makers and agents of anarchy.

I rest my case.
Bros Fulani will lose more becuase nobody will buy their cow, south is the major market. Pigs can be left to roam too. Cattle are confined and ranch in sane clime. How many times have you seen cow on the street of New York and Washington DC? Does it mean they don't have? Please embrace civilization and get out of ur stoned age

I am sure if Atiku had proposed it, most of those wailing will find reasons to accept it.

To curb herdsmen clashes with farmers, they need to settle in a place. So why are States and communities giving them leprosy treatment? Even if you rear the cattle up north you still need to keep them alive in the south till they are sold.
Let justice be served first to those they murdered, Let us see the FG protecting the lives of abiding Nigerians and not the criminals and murderers all in the name of herdsmen then we will receive them but until then FG, Buhari and fulani herdsmen should all rot in hell

That is the point.. So what are we arguing about here? If the government decides to do so for them on agreement basis, fine.

I concur with your point.

But the government has never come out to say they going to generate money from there but just to build it for them. Just proscribe open grazing and you will see people building ranches to rent out to make money but as it is now who will rent for you after when Femi said we should give up our lands instead of dying.

You shot yourself in the leg!

Can you lawfully trade tomatoe anywhere? No! You have to go to a designated place alllocated by the government.

Hello, If not failure in urban planning, a poultry shouldnt be close to residential area. They should have a designated zone to do such.

Dont Government give out agricultural farms at subsidized rate? Why does the government have shopping malls and market places?

You have no record about them and cant track them. Its after you confine them you can now start talking about taxing them.

You pointed a gun to your head with the point you raised.

+ point- If it might interest you, herdsmen dont buy this idea also as it would be more expensive for them to raise their cattles in a confined environment.
You actually shot yourself in your legs...

Do you get a space in that market for free? How abut those shops build by either government of private individuals? are they for free?

Even when the poultry is situated far from the people is the land free or given free by the government? Even when their are designated places is the place not being being rented?

You talked of subsidizing agric produce, It means that the farmers will still have to pay a little which is far diffrent in this case.

What we are saying is let the fulani herdsmen like every other law abiding Nigerian traders rent their land with their money and be confined in one location, that is how it's done in other climes, is that too difficult for them to do? Have we not tried for them? Remember our money have been used to import grass for them in the past.

Good one from the young lad, Nigerian youths should learn to stand for their rights and what is right.. and only give up such right at their own discretion..

For me Soyinka was only trying to use complex psychology on the young lad, if it was an honest mistake like his son claimed, it wont have created such uproar.

All this na wash.... Would a young Soyinka had done what he was expecting from this young man considering his background? Oga Soyinka should have begged for his seat and not demand. Respect they say is reciprocal so all of them should go drown in the lagoon

Such statement shouldn't be coming out from a Governor.

But a governor once declared Zamfara an Islamic state and till now sharia is the supreme law there, even most of the northern state all practice sharia so what's the fuss about

Hod did you arrive at your claims?

If they are buying or government is buying for them, does it make any difference.
Because they are the only herders that move their cows around. Other people indulge in that trade but have ranches privately built or rented so why should one sectioned be favoured? The difference is cattle rearing is a private business just like that woman selling tomatoes in the market, just like that your neighbor who bought land or rented a land for his own poultry. If the government can not provide poultry or free shops why should they use our tax to build a settlement for these people? A question for you... Do these people even pay tax?

Average Nigerians are not accommodative.

FG is trying their best to solve killer herdsmen, while the state governors are frustrating the efforts
The best tin is to for them to rent land for their ranches just like everyother businesses. How come FG is not helping people to rent shops? even shops built by government are not free so why should our common wealth be used to build free stuff for a section. Another tin is these ranches shouldn't be forced on people

Is it only Fulani's that are herdsmen? Stop attributing a crime to a tribe. Their are Okada robbers and their are decent ones. It happens in every industry. Should we say everything in Alaba or Aba is fake because its a hub of piracy.

No price is too expensive for peace to reign and No tribe is important than the other. Manufacturers are giving government loans at discounted interest rate, farmers are giving lands for cultivation at very subsidized rate, Militants are giving amnesty, And investors are wooed with incentives worth more than this.

So if this development will bring peace and draw a boundary, Its highly welcomed.
But it's only Fulani that are cuasing the mayhem in the country, let them buy lands or rent land for their business. Cattle rearing is private business just like everyother private businesses. They should buy ranches for their cattle

First of all you need to understand that the principles of marriage are still the same over a century ago but the concept has changed. In today's world women are no longer dependent on men economically hence they no longer take the crap they did 20years ago. Women now exercise a more robust Sense of freedom. If you are looking for a wife that will do your every bidding, I must let you know that she doesn't not exist anymore, some may look like it in the beginning but they will eventually metamorphose.
Mother's have told their daughters how unfulfilled they were in their marriages and the daughters are not willing to repeat that experience.

Making a marriage work in this age will involve both parties clearly stating their requirements, both parties have needs and those needs have to be met and the modalities of how needs are to be met needs to be discussed.

You can decide to show this lady the red card there is a high chance that the next one will be similar or worse, the once you should be careful of are the once that will pretend their way to marriage then they switch. The paradigm shift has occurred you just didn't get the memo.

thanks for ur mature response

Mr laslas, you have not mention anything that warrant you quashing your marriage plan with your lady. You just mentioned few things which are
1._That you're immature
2. That your inferiority complex is at the highest level
3. That you're an unbaptized archaic man of 21st century
Finally, you should be happy to have gotten a lady like your wife to be who is more advance in the today's knowledge. I urge you to bend low and learn from her because your thinking is still archaic
thank you

don't you have siblings bearing your father's name too? So, why must your wife throw hee father's name away?

Is she your child?

Have you done half the things her father has done for her? So, because you are marrying her, she must throw away her entire identity?

Nothing concerns you with what names she chooses to affix to your name that she will already take, as long as na your name finish story. Afterall, great women like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala have taken both their father's and husband's names to great heights and nobody has died.

You never jam, there are some mad ones that will insist yoir kids bear a combination of your name and her father's name, na this one you dey fear for. Grow a backbone, because external forces are obviously playing you like pingpong.

She once said she fell for me cuz of how she sees me doing my cleaning and cooking myself dat she needs such a man. there was a time she told me she must add her dad's name to her marital name which I objected. we even had to argue about it for sometime. I have tried to discuss somethings with her but she thinks am too archaic or not modern in my reasoning. she'll always tell me things aren't done dat way again

What traits does she exhibit that make you think she is a feminist. Feminist is the most abused word in Nigeria. Also, marriage is NOT easy, if you suspect huge difference in ideologies please ABORT! Do not expect she will change. Talk to her about your misgivings and don’t go ahead if you aren’t convinced. If you go through with it, do not start bashing women after u can’t ‘correct’ her to your vision of a ‘good’ wife because you ignored the signs. Also, you need to let her know quickly so she can go find a man she is equally yoked with.
Her ideologies are totally different from mine. When ever i correct her on some issues or tell her to do some stuffs she feel am trampling on her and sometimes she feel i'm punishing her.
