The man don jejely build another house for owerri where he dey go jolly when she travels. Anytime I'm in the east and he hears I'm around he calls me to come stay with him for a while. The man is enjoying his old age to the maximum. Just get money leave all the stories these women here dey cap. Funny enough he doesn't even care if his wife has a small boy servicing her, at that age few things bother the chairman. He's 82 now and just balling waiting for his clock to run out. The problem is people are becoming more hedonistic in this modern era and it's more evident on the side of women. A good marriage most times is boring, the economy isn't good and few families can afford a certain kind of lifestyle. Most families bust their behinds just to live comfortably and sort the bills after which nothing is left for entertainment. That's why both couples should have something going for them, woman are social and so are men. Men married for that long obviously won't want their wives following them up and down, she should have her own social circle and engage in whatever social activutu women do. Always depending on your partner to provide stimulation and happiness is what most married women suffer from. Typically Good men in marriage love stability and boring routines, they are used to such. Problem is social media and modern lifestyle encourages hedonism people, always seeking for pleasure and stimulation. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Hian! Is it a hassle to wash towel? This one everyone is shouting upandan. washing machines are fairly affordable, I just throw them in with the bedsheet and pillow case select the hot wash option, it washes and spin dries it. I'll say about twice a week, it's not something I even think about. |

I've got a lingering question, when your husband paid your own bride price of 580k did your father in-law demand for contribution from his own sons in-law? Why should your own brother now receive contribution from others? Nah them send am to marry the wife? 1 Like |

Why is everyone up in arms about this news? Roe vs Wade being repealed by the supreme court isn't an abortion ban per say, it simply gives the states power on the abortion law this taking the power away from the federal level. It's quite simple, states that support it will make laws in line with it states that don't support it will do the same. What's all the brouhaha about? |

Adakintroy: Yeah and Dave Chappelle didn't stop at "men should be quiet about it", he finished off with "if you women get to decide if the baby lives or die, at least men should get to decide to abandon the baby or be in it's life. The implication of that statement is evident, abortion rights for women should also come with child support rights for men. |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Donald Trump Says Vladimir Putin Is Smart, 'Played Joe Biden Like A Drum' (Pics) by lawkenoz(m): 9:28am On Feb 28, 2022 |
Swiftboy: My man it's so obvious how CNN has damaged a lot of Nigerian psyche, just look at the thread the and notice the outright lies about Trump and you begin to wonder. The Nord stream 2 was cancelled by Trump during his tenure as a sanction measure on Russia energy exports to europe, the first thing Biden did when he came onboard was remove the sanctions, yet Trump is the Putin's puppet and the enemy? The EU is placing sanstions on Russia and yet paying Russia for energy it supplies them via Nord stream 1.....how is that supposed to work when Russia supplies Europe with almost 40 percent of her energy? Another lie was that Trump weakned NATO at the behest of Putin. A bold faced lie, The obvious hypocrisy of NATO who depends on Russia for energy while defaulting on thier monetary obligations for the Union....which Trump was vexed about. He was particularly direct and blamed Germany directly for it the video is on YouTube for anyone who has a brain to search for independent news sources. You don't give Russia money by buying her exports and still placing economic sanctions, that's foolishness. How does that even work? The funniest lie is this one, still cracks me up everytime; they claim the 2016 election was rigged/hacked by Russia and made Trump president, but Trump saying the 2020 elections were rigged by the democrats is undermining democracy and a lie. How do these guys live with the cognitive dissonance? The coronavirus pandemic allowed for universal mailing balloting emergency laws which gave the democrats an edge in the last election and that was why they were able to beat Trump (which is what most of the republicans refer to when they say it was rigged)....let's see how they fare this time around for the next election cycle, As new York times brazenly admitted in their op-ed.....on how the 2020 elections were "fortified". Voter ID laws have been passed in most states already and absentee ballot are now back to the the Normal way it was supposed to be. 2 Likes |

Gamesmart: Abeg easy with the distortions and out right lies plus hear says filled In your submission. They called the 1966 coup an Igbo coup but they will never tell you about Lt. Col Arthur Chinyelu Unegbe who was killed in that same coup. Why didn't you mention Adewale Ademoyega who was one of the five mutinous Nigerian Army Majors that led the 1966 coup that ended the first democratic Nigerian government? This is how history writers and the media has been distorting the truth in Nigeria for years. The first coup was a revolution and not the lies we are told. Some military officers of a particular ethnic persuasion carried out a coup them you blame the whole tribe for it? So because a particular ethnic group is loud and boisterous you're justified in killing them off and carrying out programs on them? Nnamdi kanu hate or love him, he has been correct so far. If he insults your tribe insult him back and his supporters, not killing them. The Fulani that has been actually killing and sacking ethnic villages has not received the kind of vitriol you all push to nnamdi kanu. By your ideology insults and chest beating should be dealt with by death sentence abi? |

All the cars he brought in are Nissan products and my options on pickings are limited to Nissan, the other options are Nissan rouge 2010 and Nissan Sentra 2011, 2010 and 2009. How durable and mechanic friendly is the car in naija? Parts availability and fuel economy as well, as I intend to use it on Uber for light small hustle. Its a common opinion among many that Nissan cars are not reliable, don't know how true it is. Please I would like to pick your brain on the matter any advice will be greatly appreciated. |

Dollywood: Of course the bargain price was put in quote just for emphasis don't get angry over it. You should have just gone to a fuoani show room or store. LG 32 inches non smart OEM go for 105k, anything less is a fake. You didn't know and the open market sellers won't be inclined to tell you that there a two different products for different prices. They mostly assume most Nigerians want the cheap one. |
TV/Movies / Re: I Just Bought A New Lg Tv 32inches And The Picture Quality Is Not Hd! by lawkenoz(m): 1:57pm On Jan 27, 2022 |
Revolution2022:Lots of TV show rooms put fixed prices on thier products, market or road side sellers don't. Hence why people prefer going to bargain for products there as they feel show rooms are too expensive. Nigerian open market system are just weird. You wanna buy an original product just go to a show room like fuoani stores, they just place the prices there and you gant negotiate. You go to the open market where you want to negotiate then you become open to such problem as described by the OP. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Austinbass12:You're right bro! Most people don't know that getting original tokunbo electronics is more of a safe bet. They are TVs made for other countries with top specifications. Lots of brand new items in Nigeria are Chinese knockoffs and imitation products because of people's love for cheap products. Even the tokunbo electronics are sometimes more expensive that. The Chinese new clones, which discourages people from buying, they be like why buy used when new one is the same price with it. 1 Like |

Hahahha! This is really funny. I import both new and tokunbo TV sets in alaba! There are basically 4 kinds of tv sets in the market.....brand new OEM sets, Chinese cloned/copies of the OEM sets, original used OEM foreign sets, and sets from lesser known companies. The LG you bought is clearly a Chinese copy, they are everywhere and they exist because people love cheap products. You tell them the price of the original one they start complaining and always opt for the cheap one, saying is the TV going to show them the future? that's been my experience with people in this business. There are products that are difficult to Chinese copy/clone or maybe because customers who buy them are few, they are Sony TVs, Philips, LeEco (letv) and Panasonic. Their prices are cutthroat even for the foreign used sets talk more of brand new. This shouldn't be a tribal thing, lots of others tribes import and sell TVs in Nigeria, we all buy from the same suppliers abroad. I just think it should be made clear to the customers on the quality of each product thy are purchasing. The prices are self evident. 11 Likes 1 Share |

If any Christain kills in the name Jesus we would gladly brand them a Christain terrorist. Pastors will even come out on a global level to denounce it. But in the case of Islam it's always different, they start shifting blame to the media, or enemies of islam. You see some sheiks and imams that will support the terrorist act with pathetic excuses that would baffle your mind. 9 Likes 3 Shares |

They dominate others, feel superior, criticize but don't take criticism, full of hate, look down on others, problematic and troublesome. Only the Igbos all these adjectives? And to you all these accusations are true, the Igbos are demonic in thier entirety and your tribesmen are angels with a holy blood and do no wrong? Mister, bigotry kills ooh. Tribalism when it festers in the form I'm seeing in your case it can actually kill ooh. marsup: Where do you stay if I may ask? Rather than believe what you read on the media hook line and sinker why not ask people who really live in the south east about what's the true situation of things on ground. I have family there and I can categorically tell you from what I've been told IPOB has no business with killing citizens. Their report is that the IPOB guys stay mostly in bushes and only come out when the police and security forces start to harass people like in Orly for instance. I had a friend in mbaise tell me during the Monday lockdowns that there a few hoodlums and areas boys who use the sit at home excuse to forment trouble and beat people up. They actually have no link with IPOB just riffraffs trying to forment trouble. In Owerri particular my father in-law said they avoid going out not because of IPOB but because of the Nigerian security men, people have fallen victim to thier excessive display of force and many died, they told me gory stories on innocents harrassed and tagged IPOB members just for extortion. Rather than read the news and draw conclusions, talk to people who live in the region and find out how far! According to them IPOB has never killed any "innocent citizen" a lot of them have t even come across or seen any IPOB member. The attacks on police has been a long time coming cuz of Thier excesses. 2 Likes |

This is exactly what I want you to be, a full tribal bigot on display and a proud one not masking it hypocrisy and acting like you're actually bothered about the Igbo tribe. Stop hiding it be proud of it and fully display it. Not just online on a faceless forum where no one knows who you are, but in real life as well. Hopefully you go and confront one of them and they beat the shit out of your brains! Let the hate keep festering and eating you up, it kills you know. Freebills12: You should see beneath the facade of reasonability in his write-up. Obi did not decalere assets he had while being a private business man so therefore he is a thief. His problem isn't with obi per say, but the deep rooted hatred for igbos he tries to mask as being neutral. Too bad the bigotry pours out even with the lid wound tightly. Imagine someone with logical faculties conflating ommision on assets and not resigning on time from his private business as equal to stealing state resources, not even bothering to find out the punishment for such. Igbos have been proud and boasted about obi's record as a state governor, the Pandora papers taste like honey to him since it carries obi's name, the excuse he has been gifted to place the man in the same group of other politicians. Notice he never mentions the alleged crooks from his own tribe as that isn't what he is about. Obi was clean before so this gives him ecstasy to rant about how dirty he is. |
Politics / Re: Pandora Papers: EFCC Summons Peter Obi by lawkenoz(m): 8:21pm On Oct 17, 2021 |
Abagworo: That's a problem for the state to fix, Nigerians will always be judgemental about political office holders because of the hell they go through in the country. That being said, if the person has not been convicted by a court of law, tagging them criminal becomes subjective. Trust Nigerians nah, we are very opinionated in such matters, to us every politician Is thief. From the pandora papers revealed not declaring assets or omitting some of them has its punishment under the law and obi is potentially guilty In that regard. Stealing state resources and embezzlement is another crime all together, which the pandora papers never alleged to and only an investigation will show if he did or not. The former CJN was removed for the same reason if recall. I don't know if he did time in a penitentiary. Worse case scenario, obi will be fined if found guilty on the non asset/ommision declaration issue. Problem is folks already calling him a criminal, when nothing in the reports suggest he tampered with state resources and showing thier bigoted nature because of his tribal leanings. |
Politics / Re: Pandora Papers: EFCC Summons Peter Obi by lawkenoz(m): 8:11pm On Oct 17, 2021 |
PeaceJoyLove: You really are the confused fellow, not declaring assets prior to government position has its own punishment under the law, it doesn't equate to stealing. It's an omission of vital information and has its own punishment under the law. Stealing state resources is another thing entirely. Don't conflate the two! Please I really don't banter with tribal bigots, you're numerous on the forum already and I really love to allow the likes of you to wallow in your hatred. Mind you I never mentioned your tribe nor do I care about it. Now carry your tribalist behind to the grave for all I care, let the hate for Igbos you carry fester and grows till it Kills you. Good luck by the way! |
Politics / Re: Pandora Papers: EFCC Summons Peter Obi by lawkenoz(m): 2:00pm On Oct 17, 2021 |
PeaceJoyLove: Stop foaming at the mouth and trying so hard to hide your tribal bigotry. Did he break the law by not declaring the said assets? Yes and he should pay the price for it according to the law. Did he steal/launder state resources/money to the said accounts? Investigations will show if he did or not and then the courts can declare him guilty and a criminal, not you. Rich people hide assets all the time in tax havens across the globe. These are legal loopholes they exploit to pay minimum tax as possible. Till you can provr obi stole state resources, you have no effontery to call him a criminal. You tried to hide your bigotry, but you failed, try harder next time! |
