Same thing happened to me. It has happened to a lot of people here. In my own case, I had to call their Foreign Affairs in Berlin but before then, I sent several mails to the Embassy without any reply. I sat at the embassy from 7am till 2pm before they brought out my passport. Usually, if you sent your passport by courier, they will take forever or may not even open your mail until you go there. So if your travel date is close or has passed already, go to the embassy. Just pack your things and go to Lagos if you are not there already. Go before 10am. Dont make any issues. Just tell Paulinus that you are traveling that day and you have called and sent several mails already. Meanwhile, we need to report this matter. I have the email and contacts that we can report this matter to in Berlin. sleekch1c: 1 Like 1 Share |

For those who are in Germany and those who have gotten their AM, I have a question. When you received your AM did the Consulate/Embassy wait till almost the date of your trip before posting your passport? Are there those who have experienced this? Because it is very insane that even when you give them over two weeks to post your passport, they still hold on to it till almost the date of traveling. This is after sending emails and phone calls. Also, who else has experienced that very rude Nigerian customer service girl who answers the phone? |

Thanks. I submitted it during the interview. Yours will come soon. Don't worry. Perhaps the reason why mine came early May be because I had been to Germany twice in the past and lived on Switzerland for some time too. Jagabanbaby: |

Hello guys, I have been somewhat of a silent reader, contributing sparingly. Anyway, I received my AM today. I had my interview on the 28th of January. I want to appreciate those who keep helping and encouraging others. Also those who share their good news here. It really helps to keep the hopes high and positive and I hope mine will do the same to others who are processing and expecting theirs. Meanwhile this is my third Admission cycle that I have been offered admission in Germany since 2012 but did always put it off and I hope it will be a memorable journey. I would also appreciate some contacts or connections around Hamburg/Kiel area. 11 Likes |

Hi guys, Please I have a question about this age declaration thing. That part on the checklist that says "Birth Certificate from National Population Commission or Declaration of Age deposed to by head of Family (Please note that an NPC birth certificate may only be accepted if the applicant is born after December 13th, 1992)". What am I supposed to do exactly if I was born before 1992? |

I have been trying to book an appointment for interview at the Embassy but I can't seem to get one. I have even sent a mail to the consulate but they said I should do it on the website. Please who knows what's going on and how I can resolve this? |

Victoriordaah: Is the replacement from your sponsor? Do you have an explanation for the source of the replacement? Because you may be asked this when they ask for supplementary documents. |

kofoironic: What did they reply you? |
Travel / Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Lburna: 1:18am On Sep 25, 2018 |
kofoironic: Write to them to request for the 'New estimate of the processing time' for your residence permit application. According to their website, you have this right as quoted below. Use the heading "New Estimate of The Processing Time" Don't forget to add your application number and other details. You may not be able to reach them on phone as I have tried severally. "If you have applied for a residence permit, EU registration of Finnish citizenship, you may write to us at migri@migri.fi and ask for a new processing time estimate. Add your customer number to your e-mail. When you send a message to this address, you will receive a reply that states that the agency does not answer e-mail inquiries. Despite this, we will send you a new estimate of the remaining processing time. Unfortunately, you cannot get any other advice from the address migri@migri.fi." |

I applied on 19th July, yet nothing. They requested for supplementary documents on the 22nd and I sent it the next day. I emailed them last week and the said my application has been transferred for finalisation only to ask when it was transferred for finalisation and they said 28th August. Since 28th August they are yet to finalise. I wonder what they are finalising. kofoironic: |
