stick to what you started with, include any evidence you have of your business, registration papers. You can use 2 sponsors and they don't have to be related.

My husband's friend has offered to be my second sponsor. The challenge here is how I am going to define my relationship with him. How do I justify why he will be co- sponsoring me since we are not related?

Please guide me as you have always do.

Regards,

@LEADERDEJI..in my opinion, your husband should not have moved N6m to your account...he should have stood in as your main sponsor and you support. If you claim you are the main sponsor with N6.5m and Husby with N1m, they will wonder how you will survive when you are gone knowing fully well that your income will not flowing anymore....I strongly believe your husband should have the huge sum and then all his work paper and document will support the fact that there will be a continuous support whilst you are away.

Hope that makes sense.....Thats what i plan to do when applying...was going to apply with my husby and boys before but after been cautioned on this thread I am definitely not and will use my husby as main sponsor and show continuous support through his work, payslip, etc......

Thanks. It makes sense perfectly. I will factored in your advise in my next application.

How can your husband sponsor you with N1m, you should have left the funds in his account.
What did you study for your HND and what are you going for i.e program and level of study?
How long is the program for?Possible there's an issue with your admission letter.
your SOP will need work also, if you are self employed, you have to link your program with the course you going for.
You might need to get an additional sponsor who can give you an SOA of additional N5m

On the issue of being self employed, my business is registered however without tax clearance. In what way can this stand against me? Or will it be better to say I am out of job?

Please guide.

@Leaderdeji; I hope all you stated is the truth?
* What did you study at UG level and what are you going for at PG?
* You are self employed; what are you into and where are the documents backing this up/source of income?
* Your husband should up his account if he is sponsoring you. With that balance, I bet it won't fly because he has to keep the family in shape.
* Please, work on your SOP; emphasis on your past experience and why you are going for this course more so,what you intend to achieve( these reasons handles purpose of visit). Iyanu a sele cool

Thanks. That is the truth. My HND was in Geology and Mining. However my work experience has been in sales, Geophysical exploration and facilities management. I am actually going for a 2 yrs post graduate diploma program in Business Administration. I had assumed initially that since it was my husband that provided the fund, the balance of N1m and his pay slip would suffice. Unfortunately, I did not provided any document to back up my evidence of being self employed. Guessed that was too bad. Thanks for the guide.

Lol brother, leave that one joor. That one no mean nadah, I'm just lucky.
I actually applied for similar course in a school in the states. I started the application process early July (10th precisely), could you believe my so called university of technology is yet to reply the transcript verification mail that was sent to them via their officio email add by WES?
It took my school more than two months to send my transcript over to WES. I had to send two (almost threatening) different emails to the registrar of my school before anything was done, paid for express courier and the stuff got to WES the 3rd day. I got a mail from WES some hours later that copies of the transcript have been sent back to the school for verification.
Until this day brother, WES haven't gotten a response from them and application to the school closed on 1st of October.
So in a way to avoid them from delaying or halting my progress, I had to look for another way to chase my dream which landed me here.
I had to maneuver because all I'll ever allow them beans pickers to do is change my route, not my dream.

Unbelievable, which university of technology be your own?

Dear All,

Top of the day to you.

My spouse had recently applied for Canadian student visa. Myself and our two children are planning to submit our own application as dependents. Equally to be included as dependent is a 22 years old distance relative who recently completed her national diploma course. She is to assist in taking care of the two kids while my spouse is vigorously pursuing her studies while in Canada. On my own part, I am to remain in Nigeria to continue with my paid employment job and other sundry businesses. Occasionally therefore, I will need to visit the family during the duration of my spouse’s studies.

I am worried however if the embassy will consider an application where a distant relative is included. Better still, I will appreciate if the forum can advise on how best to go ahead with such as application.

Looking forward to read all your educating guidance.

Regards,
Leaderdeji
