Thank you for the response

rahman137:
They should transfer to your account, prepare a gift deed and sign. Attach the transfer receipt to it and can mail to you so you can also sign the gift deed.
You are good to go

Good morning all,

My CRS presently sits at 475 so I'm hopeful of ITA in the next round of draws.
Please, i need some advice concerning the POF. I'm presently not in Nigeria, but my parent wants to do a gift deed to my GTB account. Would a reference letter from the bank suffice? I'm reading a lot of complex POF strategies and it gets worried because it's just a family trying to do it's best. Thank you

Dkberen:

One moniker some pages back used POF from her mum who was out of the country. She submitted gift letter instead and has gotten PPR. Use the search feature to research on gift letter. There are lots of people who has your situation and have long gotten PPR.

Thank you so much

Hi all,

I'm a passive reader but now situations have changed, i need to ask questions.
With my new IELTS score, my crs has been bolstered to 475 which I think it's eligible for ITA. However, i have a few concerns before I proceed further:

My POF would come from my Dad (he's also trying to get the money from various means), what documents do i need to support this. I'm presently not in Nigeria - i can'tgo home soon - but I'll be using my First bank account. A friend of mine said I can't use the Deed of Gift as a proof because it has to be physically signed by both parties in the presence of the commissioner for oaths.

There are other issues but this seems to bother me because I'm not resident on Nigeria presently.

Thank you
