herkeem: The claim may be true but am sure this is happening in other parts of the country. How many Muslim lecturer do we have in eastern universities. Stop justying thrash..how many muslims do you have in that areas? How many muslims are in Imo as indigenes compared to Kaduna where it is muslims/christians. Same way Sokoto is a core muslim state is the same way places like southeast is more dominated by christians . So stop making unnecessary comparism |

Take it easy, my brother. Do not because of the fear of the unknown lose out on the known. Concentrate first. This may sound more philosophical than realistic, but I am convinced that success is among the cheapest commodity you can 'purchase' with the right negotiating skills. Work hard, repeat your 2:1 feat in the law school and ensure you understand the principles, not just to cram. I am in Abuja. When it is time for your internship, I will be willing to help you with a slot in the firm (provided you can work your way to getting posted to the firm). I will ensure you're taken and not rejected.
After this, hard work, creativity, esteem and excellence exuded by you will afford you a place for service and then maybe eventually, employment.
Regards Thanks for your kind words ....i'm more motivated than ever before.. I will put in my best. I will be glad if i contact you off here as i will even fill the internship form anytime from now...Thanks Once again sir! |

samtoles: I have a beautiful, curvy, tall and fair woman in my compound. Her husband has been in America for 2 years without visiting once. She is clearly sex deprived. I am the only barchelor in the compound. She a 10 year old kid.
This woman has given me too many green lights. It is just too clear that she wants to sleep with me, but I can see she is kind of careful cos of fear of rejection. She discusses everything in the world with me including how she misses sex and doesnt mind cheating on her husband. She didnt tell me or show me directly that she wants to sleep with me but from her expression and our discussion, everuthing points towards that direction.
I have reprimanded guys who have slept with married women and would tell others not to indulge in such, but sincerely I am in a dilemma here. This woman is too beautiful to ignore and coupled with the fact that the husband hasnt been around. I am tempted to show her some real good signs too and just sleep with her. Plus some other benefits will follow: She is the richest in the compound, a big business woman, drives the best car et al.
I know most of you will ask why I have come here since I already want to do it. Well, I just need some people to give me reason why I shouldnt maybe that would keep my mind off it. Bros do am if you can damn the consequences which is you people's reputation in the compound. 2years is too much kwa, just be civil and coded about it and make sure you are not reading a wrong sign too. Her husband never had sex for two years? Is that possible? We just like to dy treat women as if they are not human beings too 1 Like |

Yes, if you approach it in a way that discusses what the everyday man needs to know about law, in an interesting way with engaging titles. Eg See how not doing ------- can land you in jail. Or "What you need to know about ---- to avoid going to jail". Or 10 crazy loopholes in our current legal system".
Plus interesting simple analyses on major legal cases going on in the country at the time, to draw traffic, eg ones that involve politicians.
Make it simple and interesting to the average man on the street, not technical jargon that only you and your fellow "learned colleagues" can understand.
You can definitely make a living out of this niche, especially if you are a practicing lawyer, from branding, popularity, credibility, people coming to book cases with you.
See what Nairaland's Omonile Lawyer is doing with his site- www.omonilelawyer.com. I'm reasonably sure he's making a significant fortune in his practice.
Thanks a bunch for taking your time to respond to my question...i will do as you advised. |

He claims that because buhari is not from the ND, it is not his Job to correct the anomaly, and yet he wants the ND to allow their oil to be utilized by a non-Niger Delta president.
If militants start, i am sure his big mouth will call them enemies of state. He wants the Niger delta to share their oil with rest of Nigeria while they are bereft of proper federal reforms because buhari is not from there.
Anyway, i don't care before some of the ''we niger delta'' folks start accusing me of trying to steal their oil. Ironically i'm from Ondo state which i'm sure it is part of the region you had in mind. |

Where are the Niger Delta lawmakers especially Senator Bruce?

Niger Deltans are the biggest enemies of themselves. This comment is silly to me and i wonder how a sane person can make it. Someone that attended a school as useless as Ambrose Ali, IMSU will be bashing private univeristies too....how uncanny! You all should be shouting, no wonder the government refused to renovate public schools, go out and see how a univeristy should look like. I once went to ABUAD to visit my uncle, you need to see how conducive the place is, why won't the students excel? How many public univeristies have good facilities expecially for science students? This is thrash and i wonder how many times this crap will be addressed on here. I attended a public state university which i'm proud of in some ways. However if my parents were more financially buoyant i would rather goto ABUAD or CU due to facilities and conducive environment. What do you mean by mature graduates? Is it the freedom to smoke at will, cultism, non-challant attitudes to academics by not coming to class for a whole session or the incessant sexual harassment of female students by Lecturers? Is that what make you a matured graduate?
Don't be deceived university can only enlighten you, you build yourself. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
