Finally this overrated show comes to an end tomorrow..

Then we can focus on more demanding issues of great relevance to this self acclaimed giant of Africa.

I have been reading numerous comments on the internet. Most of which centered on getting your PVCs. Yes, that is very important.

But the million dollars question here is this; Who do we vote for? Who is capable of leading Nigeria to that dream heights we all want?

United we stand, Divided we fall. Not just anybody deserves to win this 2019 election.
How has the overrated show prevented demanding focus on demanding issues? You Nigerians just look things to blame unnecessarily. I don't watch BBN but I don't see how it has affected or should affect anyone who has got serious things to do. USA have more reality TV shows, they are progressing with their daily life activities but you Nigerians will even still blame corruption on BBN when you're not forced to watch o

Politics / Re: Omo-agege's Suspension And The Need For Sanctity In The Red Chamber by LegitBoy(m): 1:11pm On Apr 18, 2018
life2017:
Senate President Saraki Is a Tyrant. Senate Deserve The Hoodlum Attack

Senate President Bukola Saraki has been operating like a tyrant and a dictator. Senators are given mandated by their constituencies and not by the senate president or senate committee on ethics. Senators are suppose to be opinion shapers.

Under Saraki, most of the senators have been intimidated by the senate president. The freedom of speech, freedom to agree and disagree of the senators are under attack. The senate is suppose to be a place of diverse opinion. But Saraki want to turn the senate to a single opinion chamber.

Any senator who disagree with Bukola Saraki is either suspended or removed from his committee position. He is running the senate like a thug or an emperor.

I follow united state senate and congress, US senators openly attack, disagree and question the senate and house leadership . The write articles against senate and congress leaders. They grant interview criticising the senate and house leaders. I have never see a case where they are suspended because of that. Even in the UK where the Prime minister is the head of parliament is still the head of govt, member of parliaments openly oppose, criticise and attack the prime ministers. member dont get suspended for that.

Try and watch UK parliament on BBC, members of parliaments oppose and shout even when the leader of parliament is speaking. Member of parliament hold media conferences and oppose the leader of parliament. Why is Saraki against any opposition in the senate? Why is he suspending any opposition voice to his position?

Saraki need to be cut to serve. You cannot just suspend a senator who was voted in by thousand /millions of it's constituent. What the senate president is found is a coup against Nigeria democracy.

Civil organisations need to protest and demand the sack of Saraki as senate president. He is too power drunk. He is bringing disgrace to the Nigerian senate.

A senate president is like a Class prefect. He is the head among equals. He should stop acting like one emperor.

The youth, men and woman of delta state should storm the senate and ensure no plenary can hold until Senator Omo Agege is allowed to seat. The senate has no power to deny any part of delta state fair representation.

Saraki has become a monster because Buhari dont believe in bribing senators with money. Because Buhari is not sharing money and Ghana must go, the senators have become a slave to saraki because he controls the payment of thier excessive running cost.

You're a fool and an unrepentant ignorant person.

How many of the players he bought are world best players or world class??
Was Jesus Gabriel who was just 19 years world class?? Or was sane who was 20 when he was bought world class or was Gundogan world class??, was Danilo, a Madrid reject world class or was Delph a world class player?? Was stones or LaPorte world class??
Looks like you don't understand the meaning of the word world class, for you to call a player world class meaning he is among top 3 or top5 in the world for the position that he plays and none of the players pep bought is top 3 in the world for the position they play. Was ederson top 3 keepers in the world? He wasn't even ontop 5
Being among top 3 or top 5 is your definition of world class? SMH. LaPorte an established defender is not a world class player? Ikay Gudogan too? Many Madrid reject will make first team in premier league clubs.... Didn't Di Maria lost out his place or he wasn't a world class player? How many average players were made stars under pep? Pep hasn't done anything spectacular in City yet for winning the premier league really because Leicester and Chelsea won it too even with a far less expensive budget. With all the money, Pep was thrashed home and away by Liverpool and you're here saying Pep is the best thing out there. Pep is already preparing for our another spending spree in the summer, Pep only get the best players and put them together not that he has worked with average players and make things work. Any small issue in the team, he will run to the transfer market. Best coach my foot.

Best coach because he won the premier league in his second season? I wonder what you wer expecting with the huge budget and quality of players at his disposal. Conte won the league too last season with even a far lesser budget. Man city under pep is yet to live up to expectations.

Your mind seem made up to me and it is like you're just here for encouragement. However if you still have any chance of looking at your situation objectively, I will quickly chip this in. The fact is Nigeria is a very bad country and it has failed it's citizens, education no longer has any value as those who are into illegal things are making more than an average graduate.

Be that as it may, your case is not the most miserable out there if you really want to hear the truth. For the fact that you still get an offer of 150k job within 1month of resignation is a pointer that if you really put in effort to self development in areas you think are necessary, you can get a job of 250k within no short time. Plus you don't have to rely on your salary alone, I don't know or the kind of profession you're into, but you can start a side business, farm and many other things for other source of income. Not having a house 5 years after graduation isn't a bad thing if you ask me.

Your friends go through alot of things they won't tell you, some of them eat human feaces and other unspeakable diabolical things. The major thing in life is for you to be contented. Not saying you don't deserve luxury but don't loose what you have chasing for what you don't. If you're serious about your life, you need to change your friends before they push you to what you didn't bargain for.

I hope you pick one or two things from here.

Truly Fashola could have ended Jagaban in 2007 had he decamped to another party. Fashola is the reason ACN/APC are strong in the southwest, not even Jagaban. Had Fashola not done a wonderful job in his first term in office, PDP will still be the boss in the Southwest. They just sidelined him for nothing. Jagaban is soaring on the oars of Fashola's achievement and success.
Who was Fashola in 2007? Perphaps you meant after his first term in 2011. Truth is Fashola was very popular in 2011 after his first and had he decamped could have been a new song in Lagos presently. But then politicsids not mathematics. Alot of people will do worse if they are in the same position.

While I don't agree that fashola should have relegated being a former governor in the state and the pioneer of the project, this is politics too and it has its own rules of engagement.Consequent upon fashola's disagreement with Tinubu and he teamed up with the Northern cabals to rubbish Tinubu severally in the party. Wasn't that awful too? Tinubu is definitely no God but Fashola rose through Tinubu like many others too. So it is not a one way traffic thing. Fashola wanted Femi Hamzat to succeed him while Tinubu wanted Ambode.

This is a political disagreement brother and not mathematics that you can order a precise answer because there are many things beyond our forseeability.

If you have any reason to believe you're under apprehension of any threat, you can validly approach and demand for a security escort for the time being provided you meet the necessary conditions too.
If politicians, big men, royalties among others can demand for protection from the police, what stops a citizen from doing same?

Guy U sef!!! Must U respond to his tantrums?
Staying in Kubwa has nothing to do with class by the way, Kubwa is one of the fastest growing satellite towns in Africa. Most peeps in town are relocating to Kubwa, areas like Arab road and FHA where they enjoy almost 24 hrs of uninterrupted power is giving high brow areas a run for their money, areas like Dawaki, News Engineering, Gwarinpa, Galadima/Charlie boy, and even Wuse and Garki area's......
But contrary where do U stay that U are receiving #300k for rent for a self con in Kubwa? Smh, the most for a self con in Kubwa is #250, unless some very few exceptionally awesome apartments in Arab road and FHA..... where they insist on #300k for a self con.
I stay in Arab road/Pipeline Extension and I pay #200k per year, though am planning on relocating to Brick city/ Urban shelter estates for a 1 bedroom flat at #500k because of the amenities and being that it's a virgin apartment.
Abuja is a great place to hustle only if you are determined to succeed and endure some huddles and temporal challenges and hitches.
Once you are settled in Abj, I bet U wouldn't want to leave Abj for any city in naija.
With as little as a #1,000 U could prepare a big bowl of stew or soup.
Essential commodities are quite affordable and transport fare quite fair too and job opportunities abound. U just need to be resilient and know why U are in Abuja.
According to my pals, I no come Abj to com count Bridges.................
Wow.. I love your analysis, was actually confused on where to serve later this year between Abuja and Lagos as I currently stay in Abuja too but with those your analysis I'm more than convinced Abuja is better if one can get a good job. I think I will consider staying just that my profession(law) thrive more in Lagos though.

Whether bill Gates agender is to depopulate nigeria or the rest of Africa doesn't change the fact that what he said concerning Nigeria is true. What the topic says is completely different from what you pointed out thus making your findings baseless

Now tell me why the government struggle to pay pensioners their pension money but they can build status of individuals who add little or less value to the well being of the masses, this is what bill gate is trying to point out. The government must cater for the people's well being first before any form of infrastructural development.

LordKO:
The misconception by many - mentally parochial people - that staying out late at night automatically equals to irresponsibleness always amuse me. Such a parochial opinion can only holds true if and only the person involved in it is unprincipled in particular and bad in general. This myopic thought process is akin to the erroneous notion by this same class of people that anyone who usually goes to work at night automatically does a security/menial job - there's nothing wrong with those doing security/menial jobs anyway.

In truth, while you're whiling and sleeping away your time at such nights, some responsible people are using theirs to negotiate and close business deals with likeminded fellows, while some others in the responsible category are using theirs to equip and upgrade themselves in other ways. I don't hold brief for small-minded people.

More so, the country or neighbourhood in a country where one lives will also determine one's lifestyle. If you've been to different many countries then you'll agree with me that 1 AM in most countries is just like 6 PM in Nigeria in respect to liveliness and bubbling.

Prof. Peller, the post clearly suggest the context of the late night we talking about here, I can't see where he stated that it is a sign of irresponsibility for those who have genuine business doing over night. While I concede there is no generally accepted time to have fun, how many people do legitimate business during late nights?

Make professor calm down o

There a lot them with that your budget. It actually depends on where you want to stay, if you are staying in main areas like Garki I have one good spot there which is Agura Hotel. Last time I used there, their regular was 7k per night and I really enjoyed their facilities too.. .pool, gym ET all. If you want to stay a little bit off the main areas, I know many reasonable hotels in Kubwa for 5k per night. About the good places to visit, the list is even overwhelming. I will help you with a list by evening when i'm free.

But do you have a car? That will really make your time worth relishing if you really want to to move around. You will still enjoy if you don't have anyway.
