CCM or CC Team Leader are not being nominated on any visa. You will see the ❌ beside the visa type.

IF she has at least 12 months as a Biochemist and finished from a tier 1 university (OAU, Unilag, FUTA or UI).

Thanks for your response so far. For the CCM or CC team leader, I didn't see the ❌. If you can share me a link, I'll appreciate. This was what I found(see screenshot below)

This is the link I used....https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list#

And for her BSc, she graduated with Biochemistry from Imo State University, and the only work related experience she has is working in a Pharmacy for more than two years.

your class of degree does not count or matter in this process.
Customer service/lead generation is not in the occupation list. You have to be at managerial level to assess similar roles.

Thank you so much @tunlex01. I checked the occupation list and I also saw Call or Contact Centre Manager and Call or contact center team leader. Can she apply for this since it's related.

Also I saw Biochemist. Can she apply for that since that's what she studied in her BSc?

Skills assessment by AITSL is for migration/visa. I am not sure there is any exemption for state assessment as you will still need AITSL if you want to get a visa except AITSL assessment is not required for 482 visa.

Good morning everyone, good morning @tunlex01

Please I need advice on this.
I'm 31 and my wife is 24, we're both BSc holders. (Graduated with Second Class upper)

We want to apply for Australia PR and she'll be the main applicant. She's preparing for IELTS at the moment. Her BSc is Biochemistry and she has more than two years working experience in Customer Service role, lead generation and account management. I attached her work experience

Please, I'll need an advice on the which skilled job option will help us or put us in a better position of getting a PR?

Good morning nairalanders. I stepped out this morning on my way to work, and the amount of vehicles that greeted my eyes were quite alarming.

I think places that are affected includes; Ikeja, Agege, Ogba, Ojodu and it's environs.

I know Lagos is well known for its alarming population, despite being registered as the smallest state in all the thirty six, but today's traffic is something else. Long queue of workers waiting for BRT and danfo buses, high traffic congestion, and bikemen increasing their service fares.

Please who else have observed this, or is there any reasonable explanation to this

Religion / Happy Palm Sunday!!! by leokennedi(m): 6:44am On Apr 09, 2017
Palm Sunday is the final Sunday before Easter, when Christians use palm crosses to mark the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem
Palm leaves are often shaped into crosses.

We all know what Easter Sunday is, but what about Palm Sunday?
Before the rejoicing, Christians remember the fact that Jesus was crucified, died and was buried.
Palm Sunday marks the moment when the Son of God entered Jerusalem in triumph riding on the back of a donkey while crowds, who would later call for him to be killed, paid homage to him.
Christians believe it was a week before his death and resurrection.

When is Palm Sunday 2017?

Palm Sunday, which falls on April 9 this year, is the first day of Holy Week and the most solemn time in the Christian calendar.
So how does Palm Sunday get its name?
The name Palm Sunday comes from the palm branches that people laid down in Jesus' path as he rode into Jerusalem on the donkey.
Palm branches are a widely recognised symbol of peace and victory, and in Biblical times were often thrown before the feet of a conquering hero in homage. When Jesus arrived in the Holy City, the Gospel writers said the crowds lay palm branches and clothes at his feet to honour him.
It had been predicted in the Old Testament that people would recognise the Messiah when he rode into the city, and they would then lay palms at his feet.
Now during Palm Sunday Mass, palms are distributed to parishioners who carry them in a ritual procession into church. The palms are blessed with holy water. People are now given small crosses, made of palms, to take home with them.
Later these are burnt to create the ashes that are put on people's heads on Ash Wednesday (just before Lent starts) the following year. In parts of the world where palm trees don't grow, flowers or olive branches are used instead.

What about the donkey?

All the Gospels describe Jesus riding into the Holy City on the back of a donkey that had never been ridden before, to show he came in peace not to wage war.
Before he entered the city, he sent two disciples ahead to the village of Bethphage to look for an unbroken colt. They then brought it to Jesus, lay their cloaks on its back so Jesus could ride it into Jerusalem.
In some traditions, a donkey forms part of the Palm Sunday parade.
The crowds shouted Hosanna meaning 'save now' as they believed Jesus was going to save them.

What do you eat on Palm Sunday?

Pax cakes, which are believed to have originated in Herefordshire, were once handed out by churches after the service on Palm Sunday.
More like biscuits than cakes, they were generally stamped with the image of a lamb and a flag – the symbol of Jesus, the “Lamb of God – and were meant to symbolise peace and goodwill. (The word "pax", in Latin, means peace).
Pax cakes are more like biscuits than cakes and the practice is believed to date back to the Middle Ages, when the little biscuits were handed out with a glass of beer.
Peas or carlings were traditionally consumed on Palm Sunday particularly in northern England and Scotland, so it became known as Carling Sunday (or Car-Sunday in Scotland). Recipes varied according to region, including Pease Porridge, or split pea soup.
Palm Sunday is also known as Fig Sunday because tradition maintains that Jesus cursed a fig tree that would not bear fruit, and ate figs after his entry into Jerusalem. Dried figs are often eaten on the day.

What are the key dates for Easter 2017?

This year Palm Sunday is on April 9. It marks the start of Holy Week.
Palm Sunday is followed by Maundy Thursday on April 13, Good Friday on April 14, Easter Sunday on April 16 and
Easter Monday on April 17.
The date of Easter changes each year because it is based on the Lunar calendar.

Politics / Cardinal Okogie Slams Nigerian Leaders by leokennedi(m): 5:15am On Apr 09, 2017
Worried by the current face-off between the Executive and the Legislative arms of Federal Government, the Archbishop Emeritus of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, has urged the country’s leaders to put the interest of the citizenry above personal interests.
Okogie said the executive and legislative arms should come together and work for the development of the nation. According to the cardinal, the leaders must assume the responsibility of governance by securing the land from those he called armed robbers, kidnappers and herdsmen.
“Our politicians are busy fighting one another, exchanging blows in the hallowed chambers of legislation, resorting to character assassination. Our law enforcement institutions have been turned into their arsenal in this battle of the sanctimonious; the executive accuses the legislature of corruption and vice versa. “Both parties in the conflict pretend to be fighting for us, they are fighting to guard the ‘trophy’ they won at the last election while preparing to retain the same trophy in the next election.
“They are so busy fighting that they have no time to work for our security. Their sterile conflict is, in fact, prejudicial to our security. “Their negligence of duty, their tantrums, their failure to be transparent and accountable with very few exceptions, point to the fact that they are part of the equation of insecurity in our country,’’ Okogie said in a statement.
Okogie called on political leaders to provide infrastructure and adequate security for the citizens. He noted: “Our leaders are well protected, but we the citizens are not. Political leaders who cannot provide security are a total failure. “Almost six decades after independence, almost 70 years after the establishment of Nigeria’s premier University of Ibadan, we still have to rely on medical tourism.
“But how many poor Nigerians can afford to spend one day in a hospital overseas. How many can afford to be away from their work for three months. But Nigerians have the capacity to run good hospitals. All we just need is a leadership that enables, not one that disables.
“They receive the perks of office in a land where workers have gone unpaid for months, government does not serve Nigerians and the public servant does not serve the public.” Okogie called on Nigerians to be responsible in the business of protecting and safeguarding their own lives and property. “Does the life of the Nigerians have any value?
If it does, can it be truly said that Nigerians appreciate the value of life. The questions are meant for all of us. “We all have to take responsibility for the protection of lives and property of the citizens in this country. We live in clear and present danger. We are not safe when we are at home, neither are we safe away from home. “Life runs the risk of being cut short by armed robbers, kidnappers, dangerous drivers driving on dangerous roads, driving cars that are dangerous for transportation.
“When we thought we were gaining the upper hand in the battle with Boko Haram, violent herdsmen stare at our helpless faces,” said the retired Catholic Archbishop. While reminding leaders that one day they would give account of their stewardship to God, who made them leaders, Okogie pointed out: “One thing is clear: almost all our political leaders are either Christian or Muslim.
The two religions teach that we shall one day account for our earthly stewardship. “Every leader will stand before the “Just Judge” (God) and account for the way he or she got into positions of authority and used the authority. Propaganda in the print and electronic media will be of no assistance, lies told to get elected and falsehood peddled to remain in office will be of no value,” he said.

Health / 6 Fun Facts You Didn't Know About The Vagina! by leokennedi(m): 8:03pm On Mar 29, 2017
Since the dawn of time civilisation has been very confused about the vagina. Here are six facts that every guy or girl should know.

Reproductive organs are the least discussed amongst all the parts in our body. Apart from the fact that they play an important role in intercourse and reproduction, everything else remains a mystery to quite a lot of people. In this article, we will explain some key facts about one such important part of the female reproductive system – the vagina.

Fact 1: You can’t actually ‘see’ the vagina
Many people use the word vagina to describe the external opening of the female sexual organ. But, no matter what you believe, that’s not the vagina. It’s the vaginal opening. The vagina is a tube (3/4 inch in wide and 2-4 inches long) that connects the vaginal opening to the cervix. The part that you actually can see (clinically, known as the Instruments) is called the vulva. It comprises of the vaginal and urethral opening among other parts like labia majora, labia minora (as shown in the diagrammatic representation on the right hand side).

Fact 2: The vagina is muscular and very sensitive
The vaginal opening as well as the vagina itself is highly muscular in nature due to the presence of muscular ridges that line it. That’s why the vagina holds immense capacity to expand during intercourse as well as during child birth. Amazingly, the vagina has the capability to expand about 10 to 20 cm in length and 2.5 inches in width during intercourse.

Fact 3: Not every women has a hymen
A thin tissue we commonly associate with virginity, known as the hymen, is not present in all women. Some women don’t have the structure at all, while for others it might break with strenuous exercise, hormonal activity and intercourse. Present about 1 to 2 cm inside the vagina, the hymen is a thin skin tissue that partly covers the vaginal opening. So, remember that having an intact hymen, bleeding during the first time you have sex, or any other hymen related belief are all subjective and does not happen with every woman.

Fact 4: The center of gravity does exist:
Yes, it does. The center of gravity is not a myth, and it can give a woman immense pleasure. Present on the front wall of the vagina (about half way up the vaginal opening), the center of gravity is a slightly bumpy region that has a large number of nerve endings, that make it perfect to give a woman pleasure.

Fact 5: The size of a man’s penis isn’t proportional to pleasure
Size does not matter. Again, a common myth that people believe, but the size of a man’s penis does not equal how much pleasure a woman can feel. This is because the vaginal opening is packed with nerve endings; even more than those present inside the vagina itself. These nerve endings are equally responsible for pain and pleasure. That’s also a reason why women experience excruciating pain during the crowning phase during delivery and can experience a lot of pleasure during intercourse.

Fact 6: A woman has an in-built lubricating system
Some women might complain of dryness in their vaginal opening and not being lubricated enough during intercourse. Well, the secret to good lubrication both during intercourse (when she is aroused) and in daily life, is the presence of special glands (called the Bartholin’s glands) that help keep the area moist. These glands are also responsible for keeping a woman sufficiently moistened whence she is sexually aroused. So, if you do feel like you suffer from a lack of lubrication, visit a doctor who can tell you exactly why you are suffering from the symptom.
