hopilo:
The winner of the elections in Nigeria just need a simple majority of the total votes cast and 25% of votes in 24 states. South south and south east has 11 states any candidate that cannot get 25% in all of these state will get us closer to a re-run. Any candidate that can pick all of the south south ,south east and any region from the other three will just need 25% of the total votes cast in the remaining two region to win this elections. Fingers crossed, because this is too close to call.

Actually south south and south east becomes irrelevant if a candidates get 25% of the remaining 25 states

I remember my first day at school in Norway a long time ago. I had just transferred from a Nigerian University. I dressed up corporate with tucked in red and yellow long sleeves shirt, sharply pressed purples ( interspersed with green stripes) trousers. red and a yellow tie (to match the shirt), and ''cock'' shoes. The shoes clicked loudly when you walked. in Nigeria then it was considered very fashionable.

I has very surprised and embarrassed to notice that everyone else had on Polo and casual tops with Jean or slacks and mostly sneaker, even the staff. And worse of all the ''Cock'' shoe was making such a racket on the polished floors of the school.

First chance I got, i hitched a ride with some students that same day to the clothing stores and changed everything, put on everything and dumped my Naija clothes in the store trash.

Autos / Re: Lexus Jeep 2000 Vs EOD by lewinsky1: 10:57am On Jan 25, 2015
Don't even think about buying the EOD, I bought a registered 2004 EOD for my wife for N750k, after three months I sold it for N500k and bought a 2001 Lexus RX300. Best decision I ever made.

Travel / Re: Pictures Of Air Conditioned Pedestrian Bridge In Port Harcourt. by lewinsky1: 4:31pm On Sep 24, 2014
Its a waste of money, its exclusively for NNDC Staff, you have to have a passkey to access it. you walk through the sun/rain and enter the air conditioned pedestrian bridge and then walk into the sun/rain again. makes no sense. If you are walking from an air-conditioned building directly through the pedestrian bridge directly to another air-conditioned , then it might make some sense.
