I guessed you didn't print your admission letter from jamb, you used your school admission letter while registering during your part 1 days. You have to print out your jamb admission letter, cause it happened to me

LOL. Been over a year. Yeah. That really was the problem. I had to reprint and submit to my school and that was it. I've long passed out now (almost a year post-service) and moved to Lagos sef from Port Harcourt. Service is a long-left issue for me. But thanks alot for the response.

I've got a question here, pls. Would appreciate some timely response.

I work at a private school —one that has never received corpers. I already registered for Stream II and I'm working it serve here in my state (Rivers). Due to some personal reasons, I'd like to serve in my school as my PPA during service. But my school has never sent a request for corpers. Someone told me I should go with a letter to camp, while I was also told my school would have to send a request for corp members.

TL;DR: What's the best option for me to make my current job my PPA, given that my employer has never sent a request letter for corpers?

How do I fix this issue, pls? When I check my name on the senate list, it's there but I was told I can't register because "You have not been matriculated, you cannot register..." I'm sure it's fixable, but would it be possible to rectify it before this registration is over? How do I even start?

My parents' rent already expired since August. The landlord has been on their neck. I'm the only child and work a 30k job. Been trying to save soni can assist anyhow I can, but it's been hard, because of the pandemic. The 10k wouldn't really solve my problem entirely but it will add to my savings so I can meetup. This is not a made up story, pls.

I have the exact same life course but in a different age Sha. I just graduated and is yet to go for NYSC Sha. I studied computer science and I'm learning web development. I'm already very proficient in Java. I hope to use that one year at NYSC to brush up my software skills and work on a few projects so I'll be up and running by end of service. Hopefully I'll get posted to a state where I can make savings (say Anambra). That way I can have something to stand on after service until I get my footing, coz I don't want to go back home to my parents, I'm an only child. I gats make am.

We have done only 78k tests? SMH. When SA has about 1M tests. Lemme tell you the truth. You guys say NCDC is increasing figures so as to siphon money. That may be true. But the reality is that there are more covid-19 cases in Nigerian than is being reported, despite allegedly increasing the numbers.

Brazil had their first cases a day before we did. Today they have over 650k cases. We have similar climate, so don't try to factor that in. But there's hope.

I just saw the latests numbers on Woldometers. I can't help it, I'm a hypochondriac. The recovery rate is increasing, the death rate too, but the former much more than the latter. We'll get there.

For those who say we don't have covid-19 in Nigeria, shey you don't have any problems believing it is in Ghana, Benin, Cameroun, Togo, Uganda, SA, and other African countries? It's everywhere but in Nigeria. Una well done.

I live in PH. You really try to trek that kyn distance o. I thought I was the only Israelite. I used to trek from UST back gate to Garrison back and forth twice daily in search of IT space, and also every single street and lane in Diobu in search of a teaching job as well, after I finished. I thought it was so bad. But reading your experience, I see say I dey learn work.

Twas when I moved over to Greece for my masters via PDTF Scholarship, Thou the scholarship covered my living expenses and so on...

But the landlady was too hard on me, the white lady just making my stay kinda horrible when I get to know why she is behaving that towards me I found out she does not like black people...

The worst she did which I had to how to involve the Hellenic police were on a cool afternoon I was returning from lectures only for me to open up me room seeing everywhere scattered my clothes on the floor, my window and door opened, immediately I went on to check my safe to see if my savings are still intact... Fam out of €1500 saving I met €20, I was so pissed, I knew twas her handwork.

Later I summoned the courage to go confront her about what happen Before I knocked I already place my phone on record.

Immediately I tried explaining how i met my room she claimed it saying it her doing, that she is tired of seeing my blackface ...

Yo local man was sooo pissed(if no be say I remember how I take to enter the country, he remain small make man punch am ooo) , I left the building took a taxi to Hellenic police Dept.. when I got there explaining this to them and playing the voice recorder, they followed me to arrest the white bitch...

Though white bitch pleaded and I just accepted with a compensation fine of €3000.

Can you tell me more about this PTDF scholarship? I just finished from the Department of Computer Science, Rivers State University last year, with a 2nd class upper division. I was supposed to go for NYSC by July but the pandemic would cause a delay. I was looking to secure a PTDF scholarship to enable me go for my Masters, preferably outside the continent. Could you give me any tips to assist me?

i think they should only ban commercial operations ,they are just closing down and putting curfews without making any provisions for the citizens ,imagine a student that schools in lagos trying to get back to his or her family will you deny such persons that right .I personally think it is hunger that will kill alot of people not the corona virus rada rada

Now imagine also that the student is infected and travels home to their family in another state. Just imagine!

So, I’ll start:

Sometimes last year, I got an unbelievable offer (well above #750k) at a remote company. I bought a PC, subscribed for large data and set-up a workspace. On Monday which was resumption day, I turned on my PC, logged in and started the online meeting… everything went well for the first day and I got introduced to my colleagues. My friend and I actually got employed for same position, so we usually chatted while working. To be onboarded, we had to install a productivity monitoring tool on our PCs, we were told everything we did on the PC would be captured if the tool was turned ON but I really don’t know why I cared less.

On Wednesday same week, we had a short and simple test, during the test, I asked my friend for an answer as I wasn’t so sure, he responded and that was it.

On Thursday, I had a quick one-on-one call with my manager, I was fired. Apparently, I wasn’t supposed to ask for assistance while taking the test. I apologized but the answer was a straight NO (you sabi how oyinbo people strict). So in other words, I was sacked because I cheated ☹.

Well, they paid me for the few days I worked �

I have experienced other sad situations, but this has to be the worst. I was so depressed, the following Sunday, I went to Church and it was while Pastor asked us to greet our neighbor, I remembered I didn’t brush… LMAO.

Now, I got something with abit lesser pay but still very chilled
