Mulan is kinda Controversial recently. To me it's a crime for a single corporation to have Biggies such as Pixar, LucasFilm and Marvel. Halo: "The dog should not be accepting bribes" that statement was hilarious to the context but overall the scarab is the main man of episode 16 always ready for a precision attack

I don't know the real reason, but what is been reported in the media is AT&T, the new owner of Time Warner Inc (The parent company of HBO, Warner Bros and DC), is restructuring the media conglomerate. Right now, the future of DC universe is uncertain as AT&T may launch a new streaming platform.

The reason it got canceled was because the budget of the series was 80 million dollars and North Carolina gave them a tax cut of 40 million mistakenly instead of 14 million, it was when the series was about to finish shooting that WB realised the error and they were going to lose 26 million on the series that they shut down the production and cut the series from 13 episodes initially planned to 10 episodes. They had to cancel the series because it would be extremely expensive to make a second season.

PS - GOT's season 8 budget was around 90 something million

When They See Us is a masterpiece.
Ava Duvernay is really good at writing and directing...i have hope for New Gods.

But I have to admit Ava is a mysterious filmmaker.
I still can't believe that the director of masterpieces like Selma and When They See Us butchered A Wrinkle In Time.

The lady is really good.
I will be surprised if she doesn't win an Emmy this year.

You should check out When They See Us.... It's hands down the best drama series of the year.

I just hope Ava treats New Gods the same way.
She's really good even though she has the tendency to mess up sometimes.

I think I understand why WB hired her.

She isn't taking any Emmy home since this year's Emmy would all be taken by CHERNOBYL
