@all, thanks for this advice.

I went for ante-natal this morning to complain about the mucoid discharge stuff and hardened stomach (but no PAIN, and the thick mucoid stuff is not stained AT ALL!!) So the Doctor checked me and said am 2cm dilated shocked in a nutshell, that my enemy is having preterm labour.!! cry hence, sent me to the labour ward for admission straight.
Getting to the labour ward, I rejected the admission and left. Hubby and I entered commission don't just know what to do. cry
Now since that VE, I've been having some funny stomach ache, and going to toilet like every 10minutes.

Pls mamas, what is my faith?? I know say na the Devil for my village dey work, but I've sent the host of heaven to stop every contractions and premature labour. My ticket is scheduled for next Tuesday, hubby wants to reschedule it to this Friday. But I hope I'll be safe in the flight...pls help O.

On another note, Hubby's visa was approved today, but not in a good mood to type Visa Interview now. PLEASE I NEED HELP O.

Sweetie so sorry you are going through this. How far gone are you? I hate to break your heart but everything you just described were my labour signs but i was already 38 weeks

What you should do is avoid the yeye POEs, plan your flight well, get necessary documents, be ready to answer all their questions, prepare to defuse any drama and start one yourself if you must. And pray

You will not be deported by God's grace

Don't forget to come back and share your testimony.

Thanks thanks. Amen. I sure will. I and hubby decided to go on vacation in January to avoid wahala later. Thanks again for your support. And a merry Christmas to you and all the wonderful people here

Don't take the comments badly, no one wants anyone to be deported hence the reprimand. Its just that one needs to sound the bell of finding out information yourself and not relying on agents . Agents business in. Nigeria for visa purpose is a bad inheritance Nigerians have used over time.

Just stay calm and take the advice given so you wont be grilled at POE. Avoid POEs with 'strongmen'. Above safe delivery is most important.

Yeah I get. Thanks a lot. God bless you

Thanks Ll and neks31 for reprimanding me without being judgmental. Thanks kiboe for your understanding. Your comment actually brought tears to my eyes. I've been really sensitive and emotional lately.
No matter what the outcome is, even if i get deported, I'll come back and report so others can learn. We can't have a forum like this and only want to hear good stories all the time

To lend my voice to this matter, I believe a lot of people are taking wrong advice from trusted people. I remember how our US based friends advised us to hide the pregnancy. These same people even pressured us to accept government aid when the baby came; we refused obviously.

I told my colleague about this thread and our experience but he chose to go with an agent who "knows better" and they lied about their pregnancy. Now they have their visa but they have to fast and pray for months just to be allowed entry; not worth the risk if you ask me.

Thank you to everyone who comes here to admit that they hid the fact that they were pregnant during the interview, I'm not judging you but y'all should know even people who Did nothing wrong get delayed for hours at secondary inspection.

Bless your heart o jare. People be feeling entitled cos they were fortunate enough to get good advice or discover this thread in good time. Some of us weren't so fortunate

Don't mind them dear God will see you through!! You see them lurking outside d embassy looking for who to deceive!! My dear they've deceived a lot of preg women n when u get banned what is their own as they've collected money.. Since u r sincere God won't sleep on you!! But wait for us to pass before d change of intent o "winks" .. Good luck I will be praying n pls do come n share how ur wonderful journey went!!

Thanks a lot. I intend to take advantage of my daughter's interview on the 31st to inform the vo about our change of plans and plead with the vo to help update my info or advice us on what to do. Will keep y'all updated.

Agent from hell, that is how they go ahead to deceive gullible preg women!! My dear go to blessed sacrament n PRAY PRAY!! there is nothing God can't do.

This matter caused a huge fight between hubby and I cos after I learnt what I know now I called the agent and told him off. He vexed and called hubby. Hubby was very upset that I insulted the agent. Why won't I insult her him? When he made us pay so much to put us in trouble.
In fact I will even add half day fasting. I believe it would end in praise. I'll definitely keep you all updated

I try to keep quiet these dayts cos I tend to very strong abt my opinion when folks know the truth YET refuse it and YET post it.
The other poster knew about the thread yet lied. Same with thisperson. Thank God somebody just gisted how his visa was revoked. People lie, risk deportation and worst for me is the making It harder for honest applicants in future. Lies like these make the change of intent worthless at poe.hm!

I think your statement is very insensitive. You asked me earlier and I told you that I only discovered this thread after I got my visa. I didn't lie cos I wasn't even asked by the vo. And then I went ahead to mention to you that I used an agent who asked me to hide the fact from the vo. I even stated in my first post how I regret using an agent and wish I knew about this thread b4 applying. I don't think anyone in their right mind would go ahead and lie after spending weeks reading through other people's experiences on this thread. I already read through and have gotten most of what I wanted. The only reason I commented was because I liked the give back spirit and I'm also willing to give back when I have valuable info as I go along on this journey. I could be selfish like my friend who hooked me up to this thread, she's in the US now to have her baby using info she got off this thread without giving back cry please let's be careful how we treat each other. Some of us are hormonal and really sensitive

You guys knew you were pregnant as at the time of being interviewed but kept that information. Sending change of intent letter might help you if you avoid the tough poes'. These people calculate during secondary inspection to determine if u were pregnant during interview. So, stay clear of Houston and Chicago poe for your own sake.

Yes. I was told by the agent to hide the fact but now I know better. I intend to use Dallas poe for obvious reasons

Hello house,

Let me start by appreciating everyone who has in one way or the other assisted with valuable information. May God bless you all.

Please has anyone in the house given birth in any hospital in newyork? Please assist with hospital contact and any information/experience that may be of help. Thanks

Just try to read back. A number of people have given birth in and around new York on this thread but I can't remember their names cos I wasn't interested. But since that's what you want it won't take time. You don't have to start from part one cos I saw a good number in this part. Or better still, do a search

I have decided to have my baby in Texas. I always had it in mind cos a friend stays there but after going through this thread and reading about other people's experiences I decided to get a place of my own. I'm yet to choose a doc or hospital, though I have a lot of info I'll need along the way munched and saved.
Now what I need is a partner. I'm due may 23 and would like to leave in april when I'm 35 weeks. Any other momma in the house willing to work/walk with me

Hm. So u did not mention the birthing?

I didn't o. The agent told me to hide it. It was after I got the visa and I started doing my research that a friend hooked me up to this thread. I'm due 23rd of May. We still wanted to travel for Christmas first but now we can't cos my baby hasn't gotten her visa yet. Hubby is still insisting we go in January. I don't see the point anymore. I just intend to send a letter of change of intent to the embassy in February

In the spirit of giving back;
I and fiance (now hubby) got Chinese visas in 2010. 3 months, one entry. I got a job within that period so we couldn't make the trip. Fast forward to 2015 Sept, we just found out we were expecting number 2 and decided to have the baby in the US. We renewed our passports, got one for our daughter and then contacted an agent and paid him for everything. Our interview was on the 25th of Nov. We went that morning with our burden of proof, Hubby's biz documents, bank details, letter of introduction from my office, emolument letter, letter stating I was going to be on leave in Dec cos we stated we'll be traveling on the 20th of Dec to spend 2 weeks in the US, 6 months payslips, 6 months bank details, marriage certificate cos I still use my maiden name.
Our interview went like this:
Us: good morning
Vo: good morning. Passports please. I see your daughter can't be interviewed today. What's the problem? We explained that there was a mistake with her barcode and we were told to reschedule her interview for a later date after sorting it out
Vo; hand me the passport let me see if there's anything I can do to help. He checked and crosschecked on his computer, then handed it back to us saying he was sorry there was nothing he could do about it we'll just have to reschedule. We said thanks for trying
Vo; What do you want to do in the US?
Hubby: vacation
Vo: Where would you stay?
Hubby: we already booked a hotel in Houston Texas. Vo checked to confirm
Vo: why Houston?
Hubby: cos of the weather won't be as cold as other states in December
Vo: do you have family in the US?
Both of us: no
Vo to hubby:what do you do and how much do you earn
Hubby: I do Bleep, my pay depends on the particular job and client
Vo; what's the range?
Hubby; it really varies
Vo: so how much did you make last month?
Hubby: Bleep
Vo: wow! That's impressive
I was adviced by my colleague to hang my ID card. So the vo saw it and asked: how long have you worked in xxxx
Me: 3 years
Vo: what's you job description? I told him.
Vo: how much do you earn
Me: Bleep
Vo: enjoy your vacation in Houston. Handed us a white paper and asked us to pick up our passports on Monday
My daughter's interview has been rescheduled for 31st Dec. We did all we could but they said she has to be finger printed
Sorry for the long post. Lol

Good morning and compliments of the season to you all. So excited to be able to finally comment after 3 weeks of serious jacking. Congrats to all the new mommas and papas in the house and a very big shout out to all the gurus in the house, I've learned so much from you guys; Firsttymum, LadyG, Ozycy, Nefertitiram my orobo sister, Modath, Ll, Olokings, Tvegas, Nogen, Favoredgal, Neks31, Nasadiva, Jacksparow et al. I want to be like y'all when I grow up. You all are just too much. God will surely reward all of you for all your effort. I wish I discovered this thread b4 my visa interview, it would have saved us the money we spent on one yeye agent. Anyways, visa has been issued already and one must move forward
