Holudarey01:

The info should be on their site.
The total cost of attendance is approximately $30k.
Ofcourse you can sponsor yourself If you have the money

That's quite expensive, pls can u recommend schools for me around 12-15k for msc?

There's something I don't seem to understand. pls can someone explain fsw where u need minimum of 67 over 100 and crs where I think minimum is 400. It's like to scale the hurdle of 67 out of 100 is not easy and one can easily get above 400 in crs. Is it possible to have below 67 and still qualify 4 EE?

Pls I want to knw d difference btw fsw and crs

With 376 and 367 how did u qualify 4 crs? Did u get up to 67 in fsw eligibility?

40manlappy:
Good evening. My wife and I are in the pool with scores of 376 and 367 respectively. We have tried to improve our scores by rewriting IELTS but we still didn't hit the 400 mark and there is no PNP in sight yet. I am 37 while my wife would be 33 in few months time. Her NOC is 1114 while mine is 0122 though I have edited it to 4163.

Since we are determined to relocate to Canada along with our children, we are proposing that my wife should apply for an M.sc in Accounting in any province considering the following: affordable cost of living, possibility of me securing a job easily with an "spousal work permit" (hope I got it right) and affordable child care for our children.

I learned that she would be eligible for a 3 years work permit after the M.sc and there would be possibility of getting PR subsequently. I also learned that I would be eligible for a work permit while she is studying for her graduate programme. We have 9 and 7 years work experience respectively.

My wife's desire is to join the academia since she has completed her Msc in Accounting at a Nigerian University but we feel that starting all over would enable her to acclimatize before pursuing her Ph.d in Accounting and at the same be a less-stressful way of immigrating to Canada.

What do you think of the above proposal?
Does it look realistic?
Would I be eligible for a work permit during the period of her study and the anticipated 3 years work permit that follows?
What other ways can you suggest apart from the above?

I would really appreciate the input of our gurus@JesusDWay, zandora, superchi, dupyshoo, Tola73, irondome, Etfash, other gurus

I don't have family in ontario, but I have friends there. Can my friend serve as strong tie? I studied computer science and have 3 years experience in network infrastructure which I guess it's in demand in ontario.
How do I go abt registration wit professional body in ontario? Just thinking of a way to find strong tie. Thanks for ur time. .. I appreciate

JesusDWay:

There's no time frame given, I think your strong ties to Ontario or how you can convince the immigration folks there may determine if you will get it. Things like registering with the professional body in charge of your choice occupation over there, job applications you have made and demonstration of your experience in the line may convince them to nominate you

Thanks.... Pls does anyone have idea of how long ontario PNP process takes and Wat's is d guarantee cos it involves $1500 which is no joke?

JesusDWay:

Express Entry is all round the year. Ontario didn't put a date for theirs so, I suppose you can apply anytime you are ready
