I just received Approval email this morning and realised my passport request actually came yesterday!!!!! Praise God people!!!!

I submitted all the other things required but I made bulk payments into my account and did not have up to four months statement.

I paid half of my fees for VIU MBA. I have a lot of work experience (since 2006) but I stated that I am currently an entrepreneur that just started my business. I have travel history to US, UK, Singapore, Thailand so I guess it helped.

Thanks to everyone here especially d gurus helping d newbies and to those who encouraged me to be patient, i appreciate. This will be d same way many of those awaiting approval will also celebrate theirs.

NB: if u haven't gotten any reply yet from CIC, don't give up. Stay positive n be prayerful. DELAY IS NOT DENIAL. Mine took 13 months n still got approved, urs may not take dt long but it can n will be approved by God's grace.

This week started with positive news, may this good news never depart from the forum.

That amount is the passport processing fee you are required to pay. However it is meant for those who did not do their biometrics with VFS.

I got to find this out when I went to submit my passport.
The VFS people were shocked my application was July 2018. I did not take the slip to show I did biometrics there... cos I did not even remember where I kept it. They insisted I have to pay the fee, but I insisted I need to see the manager, and then I explained to the manager, though initially he was forming busy and not wanting to help, I kept insisting I did my biometrics there and to find a way to check.
While we were going back and forth on the matter, I no gree oooo
He said something about if i got a notification from them to check it. Then I remembered I got, and had to check my email... and thankfully I saw the email from VFS. I wrote out the number and gave to him, and that was how I ended up not paying the fee for passport processing.

For those yet to get PPR, when submitting passport after your PPR request, please do not forget to take the biometrics slips given when you do biometrics.

Abuja vfs really wasted my time. I was finally able to submit my passport today at Lagos vfs and was exempted from d payment of #13,480 cos my application was in June 2018.

Am so so happy today.. Although I havnt gotten my Visa since July last year.. But guess what, 2 of my JUNE 2018 guys got their Passport request today.. First ralfudoh and just now Kishkosh called me that he just got his... Am sure he is about to share his success story.. Am so happy for you guys and am happy I am part of your success story, its doing me assif its my Visa...... So happy for my Guys... Mine is coming on the way by God's grace.. I believe.. Peace

Please is there any other means of contacting the CIC. I have been emailing them as regards to my application that will complete 12 months by June 1, no decision has been made on my application yet not even medical request... 12 months its so frustrating. I don’t think there’s anyone here whose application is as old as mine.. if I can sue this CIC honestly I would. I just need a decision at this moment be it positive or negative I don’t care anymore. I need this decision to get back my tuition fee if the outcome is negative. My admission letter has expired and my school will not refund my tuition fee until they see a refusal letter from CIC..I’m tired please I need help.. I have been emailing CIC 3 times a weeks for the last one month no respond..
