It is all about maintenance. Their legs don't just pull, they give signs but many people always choose to ignore. I once had CRV 2000 model, i never had any leg pull for 2 years before i changed the car. All my cars are now Toyota but i won't say Honda is bad. Honda is truly rugged.

Good evening dear all, I am a guy around 30years, learnt draftsmanship and then went ahead to obtain a Diploma in Architectural technology.
I have been practicing for years now and I must say I'm good at what I do,at least I make money from the drawings, building executions and supervisions. I have read countless times how lucrative and the prospect coding and programming comes with in this age.
The question is, I have obtained the HND form of Federal polytechnic Ado but there's this program I registered for online and I have been selected out many appliccants to be part of the 50 persons that would be trained for 4 months for 7 days a week,(Monday to Wednesday virtual classes and Thursday to Sunday physical classes)
note: this comes with stipends but the bone of contention is once given admission for HND it would be upheaval to run such a program with my academics because Architecture itself comes with lots of commitments.
Extra.. During my ND days, I couldn't keep a girlfriend because Architecture no be your mate, outta about 120 of us, we had just 6 females and many didn't graduate with us because of their complacency.
Please i could make use of advices.

In the past verification of addresses was done by a verification Officer, paid specifically for the job, but due to the rent seeking behavior of management impossible job descriptions have been meted out to the poor ole marketer.

Theses guys try their best from their end, but sometimes stuffs happen.

I even suggest you do the charge back though so you can get your money.

I have worked in the bank before. It wasn't easy but we know the Job we signed for, so no excuse. I have called Polaris bank and my bank, i am yet to get refund.

Yes they have to go through all the process. Many of them don't, due to the stress. Imagine as a marketer opening about 10 accounts a day, then going individually to the house to verify it .. and he has account and Deposits target to meet by month end.. it's usually time consuming. Probably the scammer tricked the marketer into thinking that he is operating a franchise with lontor. I don't think the bank is directly complicit with it.

I think you should have gone to the branch where that Account was opened and try to resolve the issue within.

That is why they are paid. They are not the only one going through stress of opening accounts for businesses. I was thoroughly scrutinized when i wanted to setup business account. Even after seeing my CAC certificate they insisted i pay legal fee to verify if the business is truly registered.

Imagine all the stress only to find out a scammer is running a fully verified business account with Polaris Bank.

After I called Polaris bank out on twitter, they admitted and said they would investigate but never get back to me.

If anyone want to scam not with Business account. I wouldn't have sent money if it was an individual account. Thanks for your input Sir/Ma

The woman in question is from a popular Kotun family in Lagos. I was literally slap on the face due to my financial incapability. The woman's name is RONKE KOTUN, heard she's married to one Mohammed.

I was deprived access to my son because I'm not a Muslim and she thought I would influence the boy from turning away from Islam if I should be in his life. The last time I managed to get her contact she boasted that I'm nobody in Lagos and can't take her anywhere. I contacted the Justice court for mediation but we couldn't locate her to serve her an invitation.

Please I'm using this medium to reach out to anyone with useful information on how to track her. I contacted a family member of hers who claimed he doesn't know where she lives, yet he kept collecting money from me under the pretence of helping to locate my son.

It's really depressing as this is my only child and I'm not getting any younger and with underlining medical conditions which makes me think I might never see my son again before my time comes.

Please this is a plea of a helpless man seeking for justice.

Stop sendung money. Move on with your life. If the woman see you no longer care she will bring him. Your son will look for you sooner or later. Don't let anyone blackmail you jare.

Like someone pointed out u need cac registration and a whole lots of documents to operate a business acc. A lot of banks have this wallet account where ur phone number without d first zero is ur acc number. It's was an initiative targeted for the underbanked. It's unfortunate that fraudsters are always more enlightened than us in terms of information that's why to scam Nigerians no hard. Thanks for your input. Why would bank allow scammers open an individual bank account impersonating a Legal Business? Since bank know scammers can use this loopholes in wallets why allow such? At Least they should include BVN.

As stated earlier 12k is small to me but a big deal to many people. If 12k is deducted from 1000 customers that is 12M and you say there is no connivance with Banks!

Not only Polaris, they started with FCMB, then access bank with account names similar to the name or company they want to impersonate. Now pretty much every commercial bank has given these scammers the means to open disposable account without BVN using any account name they wish. I wonder how on earth CBN approved of this

An individual can answer LONTOR NIGERIA LTD to open non business account?

They will use the name to open account and also assign BVN and NIN to the name?

If they pass through the name stage, they will also have it on their Driver's Licence or Voter's card or NIN slip?

I have also call POLARIS BANK they confirm the account and told me they are investigating it.

First you need a TIN (Tax identification number)
2 referees
You will pay 10k to bank for name search verification
BVN/NIN
Physical Inspection of Business premise and so on.

This was why i said their is a connivance with POLARIS BANK STAFF.

This scammer opened a fully function business account (LONTOR NIGERIA LTD) with Business name that is not registered with CAC. You can do the name check yourself

These guys impersonate LONTOR Company with a fully functional business bank account in the company’s name.

I saw an ad on Facebook of LONTOR NIGERIA LTD about a rechargeable fan and I opted to buy it, I didn’t care if the page is for Lontor as it could be one of their distributors, all I care about is where to pay to.

As if these guys know that people won’t pay into an individual account, they presented business account LONTOR NIGERIA LTD with POLARIS BANK.

Upon seeing the account is a Business account I knew I was safe, but it was all a scheme to scam people.

I had already paid 12k Naira into the account when I discovered I didn’t check properly if the business is even registered with CAC and so on.

I know this isn't the right section. But I don't know the right one and so I opted to post here since it seems to have a lot of traffic.

Yesterday, I returned to my room to find a rat dead in the middle of it. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be bothered. But this rat has clearly been bitten (pictures will be displayed below). I called a neighbour and we examined it. We were arguing if a snake could have done it, and if yes, why it didn't swallow it. In any case, we decided to leave it where it was to see if whatever killed it would return for it. I went to sleep at a friend's.

We returned this morning to find the dead rat gone. So, I called others to join me and we ransacked every nook and cranny of the room. We couldn't find anything threatening. But we did find another rat killed in much the same manner as the first (second picture).

It irks that I can't find what did this. I can't sleep in the room as it is. So please, experts in the house, help me to identify what it could be and what can be done.
