This is really expensive o If you don't really need 20gb you can call or go to the store to ask for a lower plan i pay 35$ (tax excluded) for 10gb and i don't even use it up at the end of the month since im in school most of the time and there's wifi everywhere Freedom is really good sha they have some network coverage on the subway. Maybe twice a day, I even got desperate and started sending mails to MPs around the Greater Toronto Area. Of course they didn't help but it was just to fulfill all righteousness. My GCMS notes still hasn't arrived sef. bepositive11: |

@coooooooks 'Congratulations!! Please focus on school. I know people try to work but please, if at all possible, get 100% in your classes, talk with ALL your teachers: let them all know your name. Volunteer with profs or even TAs. A top grade is the best gift you could give yourself.' I don't plan on working until maybe the holidays tbh The 100% is a work in progress o I hope my teachers know me because I'm the only black girl in most of my classes. I don't know why I just saw this now but thank you so much for the encouragement <3 |

Yes i couldn't meet up with the travel date The visa would expire yes. The timeframe is usually meant to allow you get there before your studies start but i don't know why they decided to do that to me o lol olutoyiin: |

I will advise you to be calm lol Just gather all the necessary documents you need. You can even go for upfront medical before submitting your application just to get it over with. Fill in the questionnaire on your portal and just get whatever documents you think will help them understand your situation. Make sure you have a statement of purpose and don't forget to fill the temporary visa application form in the optional documents section. In case of any delays, a deferral is always an option. Good luck - from a fellow undergrad. birchwood: |

LANDING GIST!!! Hey guys, So the drive to the airport last week Friday was pretty stress-free for me, my dad and my brothers followed me. They each carried one of my boxes so they didn't have to bribe anyone at the entrance to enter. We got to the check-in queue for Ethiopia Airlines which was a bit long but we were able to skip it by talking to one of their officials. So within 30 minutes, I was done. Saying goodbye at immigration was the hardest part of the trip since they couldn't follow me any further. I just swallowed my tears and I keep on trying to remind myself that I'll see all of them again. My flight began boarding at around 12:40 and by 2:00 we had taken off. This was my first time traveling alone so I was a bit nervous but I met a very nice lady who was also transiting to Toronto so we stuck together. Finding the boarding gate wasn't hard, but I had to open my carry-on almost 4 times , it is well sha. The second leg was longer (14 hours) but I occupied myself with some movies and shows. (Please try and bring a powerbank don't make the same mistake I did). We sha finally arrived safely on Saturday morning 8 am Toronto time and everyone clapped for the pilot because omo e no easy. I followed the signs to arrivals and filled in the declaration form. They sha led me and a bunch of other people to immigration where we waited for a while before the CBSA agent came. Please obey all their instructions word for word o. He had already printed the study permits so all he did was stamp my passport to show I entered and wished me goodluck! He also liked my name and he apparently graduated from the school I'm going to. My aunt was waiting for me at the arrivals and we were able to set up my bank account and also get a phone number and plan for me. We also did some shopping as I was to move into my accommodation on Sunday. I've now moved in and I've been attending classes physically now, the only problem is remembering where my classes are Thank you so much to everyone who answered my questions no matter how silly they seemed. Let me go and read o. 31 Likes 1 Share |

It's very necessary oh Provided you're not from a visa-exempt country (which Nigeria definitely isn't) you must apply for a TRV TRV is what they give when they stamp your passport, it is what grants you entry into Canada while the study permit lets you Study in Canada. Please fill it as soon as possible Letuspraytogod: 3 Likes |

Hello guys I've come back to post my timeline 2nd time applicant by the way Applied June 9th When I applied my previous medical was still valid so I had to wait for it to expire before doing another one Submitted upfront medical - July 12th Medical passed - August 3rd At this point, I was already hoping PPR would come before my birthday which is August 16th but IRCC had other plans for me it seems Waited and waited, Started sending webforms immediately application reached 12 weeks Then eligibility review started 1st of September yay! After that, I kept logging in every day until last week I just decided to check my submitted documents and noticed that the client information section had a deadline of 3rd of October. I quickly drafted a letter of explanation with the help of my uncle and my parents and I submitted it via webforms and to 4 Nairobi visa office email addresses. The status of the client information is still showing 'Not provided' Finally yesterday, PPR while I was in online class. Documents submitted 1. IMM1294 2. birth certificate 3. passport 4. letter of acceptance & confirmation of enrolment 5. mybankstatement & scholarship letter 6. digital photo 7. IMM5645 8. IMM5257 9. Proof of upfront medical exam That's pretty much it! For any June/July applicants don't worry too much you're next! 26 Likes |

i know it’s medical request that’s why i’m asking usually there’s a section to upload additional documents requested in the documents section of your application that’s why i’m asking if you uploaded it there too. not just webform and mail Lolaflair: |
