Yahaya Bello is a stvpid guy.

His convoy drove dangerously at a checkpoint, and the army had to call the next checkpoint.

The Guard's Brigade is not a team to intimidate like ordinary solder. He was lucky sef. They would have taught him a lesson.

I have been married for a little under 2 years. During out courtship, my wife and I were very intimate. Later on, she became pregnant and we welcomed a child but since then, our sex live has never recovered till date. My wife is currently pregnant but the denial didn't start today.

She does everything possible to prevent us from having sex, from laying our child on our bed instead of the court to cleaning or watching movies in the lounge room whenever I am in the room, she will then reenter the bedroom when i am asleep. The last time, she said that I don't do enough to get her arose and that if I want sex I have to earn it. She suggested that I have to start in the morning by being nice to her so when it's night, I would have been able to get her arose.

I work an average of two shifts everyday, and sleep at home maybe 3 nights a week so I can pay our mortgage and other bills as she barely works due to having to look after our child.

Don't blame her. These things happen. Probably because of the pregnancy and childbirth, her mood swings a lot.

She's overburden by taking care of your baby and the chores at house with her pregnancy.

Find a way to always make her happy. Take over that washing and cleaning of the house whenever you are around. Help with chores whenever you are around, and watch her change. Come back and thank me later.

Does anyone still take Reno Omokri seriously?

I keep thanking God it is Atiku that went to Chicago court and not Peter Obi.

Since it's Atiku, Reno can't call him out, but he's calling Obi out.

That 1,600 per month is to treat malaria abi? What kind of useless HMO is that? In a nutshell, any member with serious health issues running into millions is on their own. Well, it's not a bank or hospital but Actors guild needs to use their offices and clout to secure better interventions for their members in need. Many of them are dying young.

Ask yourself how much they make in a month. 1600 multiply by the total number of members of AGN, is it a small money?

I don't understand all these outburst.

No one is under any obligation to help a sick person. The family should be pleading with AGN rather than making an issue out of it.

Thank God Saraki's foundation really took care of the bills.

An avoidable mistake has been corrected. That young people should be given appointment doesn't mean that common sense should binned.

A chairman of board of government agency must have towering work experience to be able to supervise and superintend over the management led by the CEO and command their respect. However, this may not be applicable to private firms.

Therefore, it is 'madness' for Engr. Imam Kashim Imam a rookie engineer who finished NYSC last year to chairman the board of FERMA and supervise FERMA CEO Dr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi who has PhD in Engineering and over 30 years experience in local and international civil engineering (consulting and contracting) and applied research. It could have been a non-issue if FERMA was Engr. Imam Kashim Imam's family company.

He has not even fully registered with COREN

Day 3(10th of August,2023)

Today also began with subhi prayer, I then started to read my training tutorial to keep myself updated with the life at sea a routine I started from day 2. When it was time for breakfast I went to take it and then proceeded to ECR room after wearing my boot in the dressing room.

At the ECR, the CE was there so also other crew members of the engine room started coming in. As I was waiting I looked around at all the controls and it make to now wonder if all these controls are just for a ship and so complex how then will be the controls of heaven and Earth by Allah be if He were to be using controls but far is He above that. I looked at the wall and saw the general arrangements drawings of the ship with plans and sections. Due to my previous knowledge of Engineering drawings I could be able to make some meaning. The ship was 110 long- not yet sure if that is in m or ft. The ship had tanks-big tanks fa! built into it. I also noticed that the paint store was at the bow (front part) of the ship. That reminds me I have later enquired and now know the answer to the question the cappy asked me. If you are facing the bow(front) of the ship to your right side is the starboard side of the ship while to your left is the Port side.

E bi lyk say na Yusuf "Tunde" Sabiu newly acquired ship you dey work o.

Dey play!!! lol ever since local content law came into play into the maritime sector, it has worsen the conditions of seafarers

When Indigenous firms started becoming big players in the system, they made sure the jumbo packages and allowances paid by the multinational companies were slashed and some will even be owing you salary for months.

The maritime industry in the country died the day local content was introduced, Lot of foreign companies left the country with lof of their ships and up till now the indigenous companies can not meet up with the growing demand in the industry.

Anything a black man touches turns to dust embarassed

Same thing happening in the Oil and Gas sector. The local content law k!lled the oil and gas industry.

Black man, especially Nigerians, are very w!cked. It is well.

Why not in neutral please?

There is something called "engine braking" when you car is in gear without your legs on the accelerator. When you put the gear in Neutral, the car will freely move and in some cases on a sloppy road, move faster.

It's good you leave it in gear and focus on the road ahead.

Autos / Re: How To Quickly Stop Your Car When The Brake Fails by lonelydora: 9:53pm On Oct 01, 2023
In an automatic gear, just remove your leg from the accelerator (throttle) while the gear is in "Drive"..... the "engine braking" will slow the car down.

In a manual gear, take the car to gear 1 and leave it there.

I have heard people say "put the gear in Neutral". Don't do this, please.

In all of these, steer the vehicle by concentrating on the road and look for a barrier (like road median or tree) and face the vehicle to.

If there was an adult in the house that knew this story, why did he/her allow those kids to follow the woman?

DISCLAIMER : READ THIS AT NIGHT FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT! grin wink

The year was 2014 and I have just been hired to cover a christian burial ceremony in Ibadan where I was based. It was my first burial job, so, it was a big deal. I was not in the least nervous because I have attended burials and seen dead bodies before. Little did I know that I was in for an experience. A typical Nigerian christian burial ceremony usually has lined up activities like the wake, the service of songs, lying in state, etc. My experience happened shortly after the wake. The wake is usually conducted around the early evening time of the day. The coffin containing the “papa or mama” will be laid in a decorated room and people will come to pay their respect. This is called the lying in state. The arrangement was the same at this burial. The deceased was a bit popular in the area and this resulted in a large turnout. I was not able to take some essential and important shots because of the crowd, so, I had to patiently wait. It was around some minutes to 7pm when I finally had my chance to take pictures as most of the guests had left by then. I got into the room, left the door opened, turned on my reliable nikon d40x and started taking my own “essential shots” of the decorations, the coffin alone, etc. and then it happened!

Guy, you funny die. grin grin
