Based on my experience with QLife, I will choose them again and again. Unlike what people say about their services. They respond to email and booking very fast, their in-service is fast and professional, and they updated my account in 3days, even though I did my medical on a Saturday. And above all, they are cost effective.

My experience with IOM is not impressive, it took them one week to reply my email message for booking.

Thank you for this.

Hi Honorable

That I can't tell,

I don't have experience of Q-life or know anyone who did his/medicals there

Some people might decide to choose Q-life cos of the quite Cheap Price (35K) instead of IOM (46,500)

I guess people who used Q-Life would be able to talk about their medicals

But for me, based on my own experience,I will choose IOM anytime, any day

. Thank you so much

Online booking seems to be the surest via their website
Try another Browser (like Google Chrome)

HOW TO BOOK FOR MEDICALS at IOMHAC Lagos or Abuja Center (Upfront Medical or if u got a Medical Invite)

1. I used their website and it worked fine for me. - https://mymedical.iom.int/apps/omas/

2) Go with your International passport. However, if you currently have a medical condition, go with your report and prescription.

3) If it is medical request, they won't give you anything to upload. If upfront, you will get a slip to upload.

4) Please do well to go there with proof of payment of medical fees.
I did not print my transfer slip and that caused a little delay for me. The officer wanted to send me out to print it but I had to practically force him to print it with the printer in the office.
This method may not work for everyone so please go there with the print out of your transfer. Also try to do the transfer two days before your appointment date. It'll make confirmation easy for you. In my case, the officer wrote "Pending" on my progress slip because they were yet to confirm transfer. Save yourself that hurdle.

Further advice:
- Go early. Book for 8am.
- Drink plenty of water before the medical screening.
- Relax, It takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. If you are healthy, you will be fine

Hello Boss,

Please between IOM and Q-life,w which one is more advisable to use?

Hello LordAA,

Since IRCC made no concrete and reference to this with their new study rule, especially for students outside Canada, International students are safe to work while studying online from their home country. There's no need for resignation.

All the best

Thank you boss

Hello Everyone,

I have applied for my study visa and also resumed online classes last week. But I still work full time here in Nigeria.

Must I resign from my current job to continue with the online studies.

If I don't resign, will it have any negative impact on my application.

I have become a bit rusty with regards to study application. If I missed anything, the gurus will help you out. Here is my take

(1) The money you should state for tuition is 1 year, room and board 10,000 Cad other could be 3,000 Cad

In the section that states something about funds available for my stay, you can then declare the total money you have available. In this case, your money covering 2 years.

What most people do is they sum up the tuition + accommodation + other = Funds available for stay (In your case, if you have more than that, you can declare it in this section, it's fine).

p:s Just make sure that the total money declared to be available for stay is not equal the total money in your sponsors account. What I mean is, your sponsor can't have 30M in their account and then you declare 30M as funds you have available for stay. Why? Under normal circumstances, your sponsor will not empty his/her account. They should have something left for their own upkeep.

(2) For sponsor, attach you parents statement of account, attach proof of relationship, source of income and letter of sponsorship.

For you the applicant, attach your salary account irrespective of the amount in the account.

P.s I have seen people who did not attach theirs and still got their permits. If you must attach, then you must show proof you actually have a job and work for that company.

(3) In my opinion, it does not have to be a reference letter. Anything that proves you are gainfully employed is more than enough.

Attach pay stubs and if you can, at least one of the following documents; reference letter, study leave, letter of introduction and so forth.

Thank you so much for this detailed explanation.
God bless you.

Good day everyone.

Please I have few questions.

1. In the titution/room and board section. Should I include the money for one year or two years? Considering that I have the full money to cover my 2 year program.

2. I being sponsored fully by my parents but I start working about 5 months ago. Should I include the statement of account from my salary account? I have less than 100k there.

3. Is it necessary to get a reference letter from my current place of employment (because I was refused one after I requested).

Thank you all

Actually there is no recommended order from IRCC for documents arrangement (client info, POF).

But advisably to make it easier for a VISA OFFICER to go thru your documents (as regards Client Information & POF), follow the link below for:

Hello LordAA,

To your questions:

1. One year

2. Its a paramilitary

3. Since its a joint account, the spouse also needs to give a consent letter attesting to the
( arrangement and) agreement with her husband for the purpose of the fund transfer.

All the best

Thank you so much for your response.

Good morning everyone.

Please I have few questions regarding my study permit application.

1. In the Tuition/Room and board section, should I put the fees for one year or fees for 2 years? (I am going for a 2 year program)

2. Is NYSC regarded as a military service? I saw a question if one served in any military or para military units.

3. My sponsor will transfer my POF from a joint account with his wife. Does the wife also need to write a letter of sponsorship?

Thank you all as I wait for your response.
