Imagine the blunder in describing Office of the National Security Adviser for a whole country's Presidency official website. Imagine this kind of carelessness on The White House website or any other responsible country. Hire reputable ICT firm or digital agency to manage your web portfolio, you say no, it must be based on man know man. 1 Like

Barryseal: If they don't build the tracks where will local talents train? Our people need to be exposed at early stage to standard facilities like this one, it boosts their morale, builds confidence and produces a better crop of athletes. Every facility must not be built primarily for international tournaments, how many of such can one country have the opportunity to host in one decade? 5 Likes |

VeryWickedMan: Are you for real? Is that how you sell to your customers? By forcefully taking money from their purse in the name of doing them a favor? I wasn't given any policy documents, I didn't sign to any agreement, how would I make demands for compensation if I eventually need it? Imagine that I didn't even find out I was charged, will they still offer any service to me or reach out at least? What if I already had an insurance cover, why must they force me to buy their insurance service? I do not think this excuse is tenable please, this is fraud let's call it what it is. 2 Likes |

Prinzton: If it has lingered beyond two weeks you should consider filing a petition with the public complaints office of CBN, check their website for the email address to report to. I can't do mine yet because it's not up to the mandatory two weeks. This people have to be stopped. 1 Like |

Hezzyluv: I could literally smell the nonchalance in their communication and response to my query, meaning this was deliberate and they're probably not happy that I found out and asked for reversal. For Zenith bank their own matter don tire me, their network is increasingly terrible. 2 Likes |

Enskynelson: It's the audacity for me... like how do you just go into someone's account and remove a whooping N5000 in this hard times for something he never solicited? 2 Likes |

I've been running a business account with Access Bank (formerly Diamond) for over six years now and never for once have that bank approved any financial assistance for my business despite my huge turnover with them, but that is not even my problem. This guys had the guts to unilaterally charge my account Friday afternoon with N5,000 for some 'fire and burglary insurance' courtesy of Coronation Insurance, without my consent or prior knowledge. I mean how? I didn't even know this transaction had taken place if not that I logged into my Access More app to do a quick transfer to someone then I noticed that my balance wasn't how I left it. At that point I scrolled to my transaction history to find that I was debited for something I don't even know about. No sms or email notification unlike them, even till date, two days later, meaning I wasn't supposed to know. Imagine if I'm the type that's careless about activities in my account. I immediately put a call through to their customer care and the lady that attended to me admitted that I was charged for office insurance cover and she apologized with the promise that she has cancelled the subscription and a refund will be made in 24hrs. 48hrs later still no show, I chatted them up on the app and all the agent attending to me could say was we apologize for the inconvenience, it'll be rectified. What do these guys take us for? Imagine if that was my last card and I needed it to sort out an emergency this weekend. Please who else has similar experience or could this be just me? Admin please push this to front page for more visibility.

wethebest: Very simple (being sarcastic), just rewrite all your queries with mysqli syntax or you could just try PDO at once being the latest and most robust |

osile2012: OP, except i don't understand what you're talking about, but I use rowCount() to fetch number of rows in PDO and it works perfectly for me. |

There is really no cause for alarm here. That is the normal practice when tankers develop serious licking issues around the discharge valve. The idea is since water is heavier than fuel like someone rightly pointed out above, it stays down and cloak such lickages hence preventing the actual fuel product from licking. During discharge, the drivers or owners of the product always do what is commonly known as "flushing" to first drain out the contaminated fuel which of course will come out first, before discharging the fuel proper. |

Well put OP. I've learnt quite a lot from your suggestions myself. For every true entrepreneur out there, it's never really in failing but in bouncing back. This is where we will all find out the true fighting spirit in Linda. Real business just began for her! |

Please last I checked Akwa Ibom International Airport has a runway length of 3.6km which still makes it the longest in Nigeria. Or is 3.5 now greater than 3.6? ![]() 1 Like |

It had rained earlier on last night all through to this morning before it ceased. Many thought that would be it at least for today. Unfortunately, that was not to be as the rains started all over again by about 12.30pm today and came down heavily for 4hours non-stop. The popular Nkemba drainage along Abak Road in Uyo had maxed out in just an hour into the down pour. What you have below are pictures of some of the scenes in this area that have been seriously affected by the floods. The submerged buildings are those of a nursery/primary school located just by where the drainage passes through. This happened when the school children were just closing for the day. The main entrance to the storey building had a wall of water close to about 5metres, capable of swallowing even an adult, everyone left in the building both pupils and staff had to climb upstairs where they were evacuated from a safer position as shown in the pictures. On a side note, the Nkemba drainage was designed to capture all of the water flowing through Abak Road and its environs coming all the way from Ibom Plaza up to Babangida Avenue, which stretches about 1km. Over the years, numbering close to 9 by now, the drainage has proved incapable of handling the floods that accompany any rain lasting even for 40mins and the government is yet to do anything about it. |
