My school sent my transcript, letter of reference and certified true copy directly to them before the day I went to submit.

That is what is officially stated but mine took two weeks.

Registration and capturing 16th of June. It was supposed to by DIY but they wouldn't allow me submit because I have over 6 months validity. I had to go for interview upstairs for that and their senior officer only agreed after greasing his palms (I no get choice). Immediately he approved he approved me for renewal, I told him to allow me capture and the request was granted too. Decided to check yesterday and found that it has been ready since 1st of July.
Don't wait for any text message.
Renewal is officially 3 weeks while Fresh application takes 6 weeks.

After 6 months I finally got my passport today, don’t wait for message or anything just go there, drop your slip in the collection box at the entrance, they’ll call your name if it’s ready, and if it’s not they’ll return your slip and tell you why it is not ready

For those who have received their passport in the new passport regime, how did you know that your passport was available for collection? Did your status online change from "vetted" or did you receive notification from the concerned immigration branch. Make una help my life biko.

Biko, select Featac. It is not as rowdy as Alausa or Ikoyi. You can submit and even capture same day. Worse case, they tell you to come back in two days time for capturing. For passport production, I am not sure yet but I want to believe they should have a quicker turn around time.

Login online to renew your passport immediately. The rule is less 6 months to expiry or explain the reason why intend to renew it. Don't wait till September o.

That's not possible naw. Tie-break will only affect a person with the exact minimum score nominated. Are you sure you are eligible for the CEC? If yes, then with your 461, ITA should drop later in the day. Congratulations in advance.

Go to the transcript verification office and plead with/persuade the guy in charge. Betterstill, you should drag a lecturer or any staff with you. With that, the confirmation will happen in a week.

You can track from WES website to confirm if they received it or not.

Good evening all, please has anyone done transcript request from UI postgraduate school for WES. I want to know if I can make the transcript request online.

Don't request online. Just go to the PG school or send someone to initiate the process for you and get a PG connect. That way its faster and you can also monitor its progress through the contact person. All the best.

There is no fee attached to Verification. It's free of charge. You may however wish to visit the Verification Room at PG or better still seek the help of any lecturer you know to speed up the verification process.

I waited for a month and visited UI twice this month to get it sorted. Wait till first week of january, if status hasnt changed, biko visit the verification room in PG school and ensure they do it in ur presence even if it means raising 2 or 3 fingers or betterstill ask them to do hardcopy verification and send thru courier. All the best.

Yes it is acceptable. Although i used certificate. Just go give them a photocopy to include in the sealed envelop.
