A photographer,Mr. Emmanuel Okolohas sued2faceand his wife,Annie Idibia, for a sum N120 Million, beforeJustice Mohammed Idrisof aFederal High Courtin Lagos.Okoloclaimed that the sum is damages for copyright violation involving the use of some pictures he took at 2Face’s wedding without making any attribution statement.According to Okolo, who sued alongside his company,Papilonmexy Films Studios Limited, the defendants wrote‘2faceonline.com’on 148 out of the 355 high-resolution photographs he took at their wedding.He claimed that 2Face’s wife, Annie Idibia, contacted him to request for the pictures he had taken at their wedding inUyo, Akwa Ibom State.She soon after complained of the watermark imprint when she received them.2Face, who is the second defendant then made an attempt to persuade Okolo to release the pictures without the watermark.The photographer eventually agreed, but insistedthat the copyright be credited to his company.Okolo has now claimed that the terms of the signed agreement have been breached, prompting him to sue the couple.2Face and his wife have now come out to refute the claim, stating that the photographer had appeared at their wedding uninvited.They said shortly after the ceremony, they noticed pictures of themselves on the internet with Okolo's company name, Papilonmexy Films Studios on them.According to 2Face and his wife, Okolo forced the pictures on them stating that he would like touse their influence to gain brand patronage.They agreed that they will collect the pictures on the condition that he removes the watermark, which he allegedly accepted.2Face was accused by former band singer, BlackFace earlier in 2016, of stealing his song.

A man has been arrested and charged with throwing a pot of scalding hot water on a gay couple as they laid in bed in his girlfriend’s apartment. Authorities in Atlanta are considering filing federal hate crime charges against Martin Blackwell, 48, who is being held in the Fulton County jail without bond.
Blackwell told police he threw “just a little hot water” on the men because he was “disgusted” by their relationship. The attack happened in February this year. The AJC.com reports that one of the gay men, Anthony Gooden, is the son of Blackwell’s girlfriend. Gooden lived with his mother and Blackwell in her Buffington Road apartment. Marquez Tolbert suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his neck, back and arms.He spent 10 days at Grady Hospital undergoingpainful surgeries to have skin grafted from his thigh to replace the burned areas on his back. Gooden was released from the hospital on Friday. “The pain doesn’t let you sleep,” a tearful Tolbert admitted. “It’s just like it’s excruciating 24 hours a day, and it doesn’t go anywhere,” Tolbert said. “It doesn’t dial down, anything. It’s just there.” Tolbert recalls Blackwell’s rage. “Martin pulled me up and said,‘Get out of my house with all that gay,’” Tolbert said. “I couldn’t stop screaming.”He called the scars on his back and arms scarsof hate. “Why else would you pour boiling hot water on somebody?” Tolbert asked.
