finallybusy: Like, you just spoke my mind. Anybody with at least one functional brain cell should not find this difficult to figure out. I'm watching the show for MY entertainment and the stakes for me are actually so _fucking low. The country didn't crash and burn after Khosi won. The value of our naira didn't change. Many people don't care. Many people in the country weren't even following the show religiously partly due to the political drama that has been going on for the past few months. Y'all just lie on your bed at home and log in here to type puerile rubbish about "UnITy" & "PaTrIOtiSM" on a reality TV game show, but you insult, stereotype, demean, and even instigate violence against your fellow Nigerian on the basis of his tribal affiliation alone. Who are we kidding here? Miss me with that hypocrisy and faux sanctimony. Please take your "PaTRiOtiSM" and shove it up your cake hole. The children whinging and crying on this thread about Nigerian fans supporting foreigners on a trivial reality game show seriously and urgently need to get a life. It was never that deep. If you're so petty, vindictive and insecure about your own country that you constantly feel the need to measure dicks with foreigners over frivolous bullshit, then by all means, knock yourself out. But leave me out of your pathetic bullshit. So many drama queens on this thread, it's ridiculous. Geez. I don't even like Khosi. In fact she was one of my least liked housemates, but I'll give her credit where it's due. For all intents and purposes, she provided a decent amount of content and entertainment. Simple as that. It's over. Pack your things and go home. If you're that bitter and depressed over her win, just do everybody a favor and kill yourself. I can promise you, nobody will actually give a shit. 5 Likes |

finallybusy: You must be referring to Mikey from BBUK 9. I didn't watch that season. The BBUK seasons I've watched are seasons 8, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19. If you're looking for a good BBUK season to watch, you can try season 18. It's the best among the ones I've watched, in my opinion. 17 and 19 are good too. You can find all the episodes on YouTube. I hear seasons 1-7 are really good, but I haven't seen those yet. |

Congratulations to Khosi. You can whinge and bitch and moan about her all you want, but you can't deny the fact that she played the game better than all your faves. In its' purest form, Big Brother is a game of survival, not morals or sentiments. As for the BBTitans experiment, to be very honest, the only thing it accomplished this year was produce a better and more catchy theme song than BBN. That being said, there's a lot of room for improvement. Instead of being BBN or BBMzansi Lite, this new series could use a little flavor to really set it apart from both BBN and BBMzansi. Off the top of my head, some of my more rough suggestions include releasing a new BBTitans season every 2-3 years as opposed to annually. My logic is that it may give the show a big event kind of feel -- sort of like the World Cup. [Another interesting idea that could go hand in hand with this arrangement might be to revamp BBTitans such that it would serve as a kind of BBAfrica All-Stars. What I mean is, instead of casting brand new housemates, maybe bring back old housemates from previous seasons of BBN and BBMzansi including those who were evicted much earlier in the game, those who were disqualified (Yes. Tacha, Beauty etc. should be eligible), and those who made it quite far in the game but didn't make it to the finals or didn't win.] If bringing back old housemates doesn't seem feasible and/or they insist on casting new housemates, the organizers need to be more radical with their housemate selection. I've talked about this here before. The main objective of the Big Brother experiment is to observe the outcome of placing housemates from different backgrounds, often with radically varying personalities, philosophies, habits, eccentricities, behaviors, perspectives, ideologies, etc in an enclosed area for a loooooong period of time. The more different the housemates are in terms of personalities, the more tendency there is for drama to ensue in the house, which equals premium entertainment for us (the viewers). The huge success and popularity of the UK version of the series, especially from the early 2010s, derived from this simple formula. We need weird and unique housemates (or as Geezeem would call them, "X-factor housemates". The types you would find difficult to encounter in a day-to-day setting. I'm sick and tired of listening to people hype bland, boring and predictable "ships". We need varied content on this show. Perhaps enlist the help of a professional behavioral psychologist, or maybe even BBUK or BBAUS producers, to facilitate the housemate selection. Another idea is to extend the number of days? Perhaps go back to using 91 days? 105 even? It's just a thought tho'. Also, we need better twists, tricks and turns to be implemented. I'm sick of the predictable fake eviction twists or new housemates popping in halfway into the show with no meaningful purpose or mission. The organizers need to watch BB seasons from USA, Canada, UK, Australia or even India. Some of the twists I've seen from a few seasons of those shows are just downright genius and creative, and designed to keep the show interesting and full of suspense. Another good idea would be to just bring back Big Brother Africa. Seriously. Like, just bring it back. 5 Likes |

What was emotional about that lights out? Abeg abeg. In 2-3 years time, I reckon this will be one of the more forgettable seasons of BB in Africa. Most boring final week... ever. My ranking of all BB seasons in Africa since 2017 (except Mzansi cos I havent watched any seasons from those): Pepper Dem See Gobe Double Wahala Level Up Lockdown SYE BBTitans 1 Like 1 Share |

As for the rest, I won't spoil it because 1) I don't trust the source 100%, even though it has gotten the last three weeks accurately, and 2) even if my results might be accurate, I'd rather not spoil it because... hmmmm 🙊😂😂 Let's watch how things unfold sha. |

Reussite: The source is an Yvonne supporter, so take this with a tablespoon of salt. Obviously not much is being said, but this is the picture I can glean from the little I'm hearing (or seeing). 1. Ebubu finishing 6th, with Ipeleng finishing 5th. 2. Apparently, Kanaga Jnr isn't even in the top 2. 3. There might be a shocking upset with tomorrow's results. ....Again, like I said, a tablespoon full of salt. Don't say I didn't caution you thus. Whatever happens tomorrow, seems like it could be a finale for you guys to look forward to. As for me, I couldn't care less at the moment who wins. Just waiting for this flop of a show to be over with. |

Geezeem: Ahhh... Nando and Bimp. Those were my gees back then 😁. BBA had a lot of colourful A-list characters. I'm talking of the types that would rival the eccentric madness from the housemates in BBUK and BBUS 😅. The only BBN that really captured the spirit of BBA in my opinion was the Pepper Dem edition. That was the only year where I actually loved all the top 5 finalists and didn't mind any of them winning. ...As for the BBN fanbase, you've got to give them their flowers. Their social media hyping is off the charts. These fellas can make you think a log of wood is the most exciting thing on the planet. 1 Like |

So I hear BBN is resuming July 23-24 Here's an unpopular opinion (maybe): they should just shelf this show and allow us to hear word. Bring it back in 5 years time like they did with BBUK. My tired is tired. Watching it is becoming a chore at this point. I'm sure the same goes for a lot of people cos I personally know many hardcore BBN viewers who stopped watching after Shine Ya Eye or Lockdown. And when they do bring it back, they should please try scouting for weird, unique and offbeat housemates who'll keep us curious and engaged -- not bland characters who will come and snooze to the top 5 and possibly the prize money. Also try to be more creative with the twists and infuse high stake tasks to keep the housemates on their toes 24/7. 6 Likes |
